I feel the time for over sharing has passed. Hey girl! I think you're right, and that people who don't want commentary on their personal lives, the decisions they make, or what they're doing shouldn't publicize those parts of their lives. It opens you up to not only criticism from strangers, but for the girlies that like to work a 9-5, potential criticism from your employer as well. It's crazy how much people will overshare with you without considering how comfortable you actually are with knowing that information. Plus, it's hard not to internalize judgment or comments that you see - why open yourself up to that level of mental stress? If everyone and their mother can tell you what they think of what you've decided to do for yourself, it might make you doubt a decision that took you years to make. I also think that sharing the personal parts to your life opens you up to comparison - both to others, and from others. I ended up reducing the usages of pretty much all of my social media accounts after finishing undergrad because it felt like I was constantly comparing myself to others, even when I knew that things like Instagram are only the highlight.

You can get writers credits on a song for changing one word or it’s contractually agreed upon once the song is bought. Nothing is wrong with not writing your own music. Her job is to entertain. That’s it. And she does well at that. Most artists don’t write any of their music…at all..and that’s okay. Does it actually matter that she doesn’t ? Nope, she’s a great entertainer either way.

Hi! I would actually encourage you to speak more about your relationship with Christ. As Christians, our ultimate purpose is to spread the gospel and make disciples (Matthew 28:20). I understand that people will judge you, or you don’t want anyone questioning your relationship with God, but at the same time Christ will do and give us the will and desire to please him. So many people have not heard the gospel, and you could be their first messenger! Living a simple and quiet life doesn’t mean that we should be silent about God. Hey girl! I think you're right, and that people who don't want commentary on their personal lives, the decisions they make, or what they're doing shouldn't publicize those parts of their lives. It opens you up to not only criticism from strangers, but for the girlies that like to work a 9-5, potential criticism from your employer as well. It's crazy how much people will overshare with you without considering how comfortable you actually are with knowing that information. Plus, it's hard not to internalize judgment or comments that you see - why open yourself up to that level of mental stress? If everyone and their mother can tell you what they think of what you've decided to do for yourself, it might make you doubt a decision that took you years to make.
I also think that sharing the personal parts to your life opens you up to comparison - both to others, and from others. I ended up reducing the usages of pretty much all of my social media accounts after finishing undergrad because it felt like I was constantly comparing myself to others, even when I knew that things like Instagram are only the highlight.

I disagree. Beyonce rumors have been there almost since the beginning of her solo career. The lies about her killing Aaliyah to steal her career, the lies about her stealing Amerie’s sound. The lies of her going to primary school, in the same class with Whitney Houston, Gabrielle Union etc. All of these have been floating for years and she was still doing interviews and showing personality. You can get writers credits on a song for changing one word or it’s contractually agreed upon once the song is bought. Nothing is wrong with not writing your own music. Her job is to entertain. That’s it. And she does well at that. Most artists don’t write any of their music…at all..and that’s okay. Does it actually matter that she doesn’t ? Nope, she’s a great entertainer either way.
there are plenty of interviews with her personality. And she does contribute to the songwriting. If you are in the industry you would know that you do not have to write to get songwriting credits. Hi! I would actually encourage you to speak more about your relationship with Christ. As Christians, our ultimate purpose is to spread the gospel and make disciples (Matthew 28:20). I understand that people will judge you, or you don’t want anyone questioning your relationship with God, but at the same time Christ will do and give us the will and desire to please him. So many people have not heard the gospel, and you could be their first messenger! Living a simple and quiet life doesn’t mean that we should be silent about God. Another reason it’s hard putting your faith out there as a content artist or creative is that Christians hold you to THEIR personal Christian standards” and project their faith through you. Non-Christians use any mistake as a way to try and discredit Christ. Neither side allows you to grow in your faith walk, and expect you to never make mistakes, never have setbacks. They require perfection, and the way they come at you if you don’t give that is vicious (and yes the Christian’s be the main ones) . We’re all sinners, we all make mistakes. No one is perfect except Jesus Christ himself.

Beyonce as a brand takes money from the public via concerts, branding, donations etc. We trust that the money is being put to good use paying employees and establishing charities and scholarships. That being said you are expected to engage with your board of directors I.e your fans to some extent. Taylor Swift being the ultimate example she invites fans to her home, signs autographs etc.
