I am a product video producer and have been involved in product names that all or most would recognize as household names. Sean's video here is by far the best value for solution seekers I have ever run across. Can't think of a single reason to click down on this one. Certainly this was meant to be a hi level How-To, not the exhaustive How To on his Facebook and TH-cam live. So, anyone trying to add important tips he missed, yeah, he didn't remind us to mute our phone. I could come up with about twenty-five tips he missed without even using my office whiteboard. Hitting every tip or step was not the point of this video. What part of "..8 Facebook Live Tips" didn't they get?

This is a 5 star video. It tells you what it will deliver, and then it delivers. I am getting ready to launch into doing FB live videos and this gave me some simple ideas that will help me look better from the start.
I have done several FB lives. I go back and realize that I have said "um" way too much. This can be very distracting. I am working on not saying that. So, my tip is to avoid saying "Um."

I've done several Facebook live videos. They were ATROCIOUS! I've done them holding my phone in my hand, trying to turn it around to show the viewers the things that I was taking about. I'm surprised anyone watched them. I learned so much from your video that I will implement with my next FB Live.
Early in my venture of going live on Facebook, I'd just wing it. No script or outline. I learned quickly that preparation is vital!!!
I started a Facebook Live Broadcast three weeks ago. We broadcast twice a week. I cover up coming Roller Derby games, results of past games and happenings in the sport. Consistency, solid content, a pacing are the leason I have learned so far. I feel that I am narrowing on how I want to provide the content. This information has helped. Thank you.

I have done two live events. You just taught me everything I did wrong. I appreciate your videos and find them very valuable. I am a veterinarian trying to use Facebook live for client education and to attract new clients. Both of my live events were about an hour and fifteen minutes long. I realize now, less content more frequently will likely attract far more viewers both live and after the fact. Thanks for all you do to help others.

Hey Sean! I enjoyed watching your tutorial on FB lives. I just recently did a 21 days FB video challenge with Helen Martin and am feeling so much more comfortable in front of the camera. I have promised my audience to do one video per month and this month is scheduled for March 31, 2019. I really look forward to working with you to learn more. One of the things that I would like to do eventually is to make a FB Live video using pictures and a voice over for part of my video. I have no idea how to do this:)

Hi thank you this was a fantastic video and cant wait to watch more. Yes I have been doing live facebook broadcast for about 2 months now. My top tip - when you first start, go live on your own personal account and at the very top select post story and click on "only me". This means you can get the experience of a live recording and watch youself back WITHOUT any one else seeing. Its a great pre run. If you like your video, you can always reset to public afterwards.
I am a complete newbie at this and I want to do a Facebook Live where the camera looks at me for the intro and then I switch to my worktable/surface to demo the art project. Is there an app or special software I can use? In Zoom, I can spotlight my work surface. I don't know how how to flip to the work surface in FB Live or TH-cam without awkwardly moving the cell phone off of me to face the work surface. Thanks so much for your great videos and direction.

Love the Video, great tips, and value. I've only done one "live" so far, and I've got a lot of improving to do. One tip that you could add on the technical side, would be how to flip the image so that everything reads correctly to the viewer. That's what I was looking for when I came across this. I learned when I do my Facebook live, not to play music if you do not have the authorization because fecebook will not post you video after you finish. Also, they may block you

It went *great*, Sean's suggestion of encouraging people to comment was genius because it really helped the broadcast reach more people - ended up clocking in at almost 400 engagements! 😸 It was also a really good idea to focus the content on the syndication, because I can see a lot of people who couldn't make it last night watching the recorded version now.
This was excellent. Very clear and concise instructions on not just what to do, but how.
I loved this video - I learnt more off this in a quicker time than most of the other videos I watched. I have just done my first Facebook Live and I was blown away by the interaction. I had a good amount of views considering my niche and people actually asked questions.
I've participated in loads of lives where none says anything.

I'm a resin crafting person, i make bowls, vases and many other resin products, many peoples want me to show them how i make them, i love to do that , but i don't know how, because the whole process is 24 hours after i pour the resin i have to wait 6, 10 or more hours for it to dry to be able to show the shaping and the final result.

Good for you. I hope your broadcast went well. I did a live Facebook broadcast with guitar and the sound was terrible. With testing around I found out I need to stream on a DAW like OBS that is connected to Facebook live for cleaner sound. Let me know how you did your music?

What mic do you suggest for in-home concerts (intimate groups of 20 and less)? I have a Mevo I just purchased and want a better mic to connect to my iPad that I use to manage the camera angles and such. Thanks in advance for your response.
