    I'm excited to see your hunting season has kicked off! Even more thrilled to finally see the New View Hunting clothes with hip pockets, lol.

      @JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching, and yeah, those hip pockets are great! I was so glad they came out with those! Also, the boots are awesome. Jerod and I wanted to wear the new outfits and boots before we did a review. That should be coming soon. We appreciate that you continue to listen to hunters and are providing good quality gear at a very affordable price. We also appreciate that you take the time out of your busy schedule to watch our videos and even leave comments so that we know you were here. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie

      @@JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures Watching your videos is both enjoyable and helpful for us! We believe that good products and expensive prices don’t necessarily go hand in hand. Of course, more expensive products can invest more in design, materials, and finer details. However, hunters also need products that are well-made, feature-rich, reliable in quality, and much more reasonably priced. Not everyone is willing to see an extra zero on the bill, haha! That said, offering poor-quality products at a low price is completely unacceptable-it just means hunters end up with a pile of trash for their money. LOL. I hope New View Hunting continues to improve, and that more hunters get to know us!

      It was just to warm back in September opened, so we put off hitting the woods till the 19th. Which like I said in the video would have been the regular opening day if the DNR hadn't moved the opening date to September. We knew people were waiting for the first bow hunt. Thanks, Dan. Sorry that I sort of got on a soap box, but I just see and hear so much about how people should hunt, and some try and push their believes on you. I just want to hunt the way I want to hunt, it should be up to me as to what I want to harvest. I am not trying to please the masses, I just need to worry about me. It is always good to see a youth get out there and enjoy himself, and especially to see that face once he has dropped a deer, or even a squirrel!! Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie

    I want to say that you were spot on with your preaching at the beginning of the video it is absolutely about spreading time with family and friends, not about the size of the rack . My youngest son lives in Iowa now and I miss hunting with him . This is why I’m a big fan of your channel you said it all .Great video keep up the awesome work your time is appreciated Thank you and Good luck next time in the woods.

      Thanks, Jr. I am so tired of the commercialism of hunting by the Outdoor Channel, it has ruined hunting. I am tired of guys putting down other hunters for harvesting a spike or a 4 pointer or even an 8 pointer, and those guys say you should of let him go another year. Or they say if you want meat shoot a doe. Back when i started hunting in the early 80's, if you shot a spike and showed up at a checking station, everyone gathered round, patted you on the back and congratulated you on your harvest. I miss those days. Now it is about ego and who can get the biggest rack, that isn't what hunting is about. Those guys have lost the true meaning of hunting, or maybe they were never introduced to it, they got introduced by the Outdoor Channel. Maybe that is why they try and push on lowering buck limits because all they have ever known is what they saw on the Outdoor Channel. We appreciate you watching and commenting, Jr. Juddie

      Thanks for the comment, I appreciate you watching, Steve. I think since I started hunting back in 92 that I have always hunted with someone, been a few times that I have went by myself. That probably started sometime after we started J & J TOA, and when Jerod started working. Absolutely, you can't eat those racks, you shoot whatever the good Lord provides, and if were to be your personal best, then that is the time to really rejoice on that accomplishment. Other than that, you shoot what makes you happy and never apologize because it isn't a trophy in others eyes, it is a trophy in your eyes and that is all that matters. Good luck to you this season, and you too be safe. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie

    You are correct! I don't mind being out in the woods by myself and do it several times a year, but there is something special about being out in the woods with my boys and even the wife. I just love the opportunity take others out in woods and enjoy that time in God's creation. Enjoyed the video and good luck the rest of the year.

    Juddie we must cherish everyday we have! Spend all the time you can in the woods with Jerod and family and friends!!I’m at the point we’re all my buddies and my dad have passed on that I hunted with! I have grandkids to look forward
    to spending deer hunts with when they get a little older!! I took off tomorrow to go back hunting! Bad news is it has warmed up so I will only hunt morning til about 10am at the latest.. Enjoyed video! Congrats to your buddies son!!!! Keep camera rolling!!!

      I completely agree, Todd, you should cherish every day you have. It really does feel good to be in the woods. It is hard when those you have hunted with for what seems like forever pass away. Those memories you have with them will always be a part of every hunt you go on, and now you have grandkids that you will start making memories with. You will share the memories with them of the hunts with your buddies and your dad, their great granddad, and pass along traditions. That was the way it was Saturday, by 1PM it was already in the low 70's. Will be heading out tomorrow, but I will be hunting alone, Jerod has to work. May hold off though, we need to go over there after he gets off work to fill the feeders, and put out some mineral. Tomorrow would seem like a good day. Thanks for watching and commenting! Juddie

      It sounds like you had a great weekend, congrats on the bucks, Brian! Shoot what you want, you don't have to please anyone but yourself. Our biggest issue, and it has been this way for a few years, is that we are always late with getting out and putting out mineral and getting the feeders running. But, long before we started J & J TOA, we never used mineral or bait, we learned their trail patterns, we did set out cameras. Call it getting old or getting lazy, we started putting out the minerals, hanging feeders and using lander stands instead of self climbing stands. Again, congrats to both you and your son!! Good job. That was the way this hunt was, Josh. But it was so good to get out. This past weekend Jerod had to work on Saturday till noon, after he got home we went to fill the feeders for the first time and put out Lucky Buck. Then we went and hunted Sunday. Just being it the woods is so relaxing, heck even having to work to fill feeders, it is till better than being at work or at home doing things. We will be going out this Saturday for an all day hunt, well except for the time to come out for some lunch. We did find several scrapes last weekend, so the time is getting close. I think rifle season is my favorite, and that is because we are there for an entire week with no cell service. Good luck to you. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie

      Thanks, we appreciate it, I’m hoping to get some exciting hunts in this year. Well, the magic of editing. I can't stand to have to turn the volume up and then the next clip turn it back down so I am not busting my ear drums. So, when putting that footage together, I increase the volume in the clip so when it is played most of the time all audio is at the same level. Of course, you can tell that we are kind of whispering. I know that feeling, about hunting by yourself. I will do it, but hunting is about sharing the experience, it is kind of hard to share when you hunt by yourself. Good luck to you this season, and heck, even if it is after daylight, get out there and enjoy what God has given us. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie

    You contradicted yourself. You say I'd wasn't about the rack! Then said only thing you'd shoot was a big rack! Which is it? If the rack didn't have anything to do with it you'd shoot first doe that gave you a good shot. Im confused.

    • @JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures
      @JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Smity, Jerod and I said that for bow season we wasn't going to shoot a buck, that we would only shoot a doe for bow season. We didn't buy any additional bow tags due to the new DNR rules. We discussed it some and decided that if a big rack buck were to come in, then we may take it. The reason I said that was because where the DNR council lowered the buck limit to 2 bucks only, we made a choice to buy only one extra tag this year. The tag we bought was the extra buck tag for rifle season. The reason we did that was so that neither of us had to hunt alone at camp if someone got a deer. Those mountains at camp it is always good to hunt with someone. Now of course that means that for bow season we wouldn't shoot a buck since it is a two buck limit. I didn't mean to sound like I was contradicting myself. A big fat doe comes walking in, then I will take her. The only buck I would shoot during this bow season, as I said in the video, would have to be bigger than my 8 pointer that I got in 2017. Everything else would get a pass. And since I didn't buy extra bow tags, then my bow season is done. Also, now if I shoot a buck in bow season, then I can only get one more buck and that will be in rifle season. Yes, I would have wasted 20 dollars on the extra buck tag. Then of course muzzleloader season is gone unless I hunt in a county or portion of a county that has a doe season. That way I could then take a doe with the muzzleloader. That is the reason we are being so picky. The DNR commission screwed the WV hunter with this 2 buck limit. Sorry I confused you, and I bet this still isn't clear. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
