Absolutely, Matt. This year, 2024, we lost! But 2025 is going to be a better year! Keep a positive attitude! Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
I ate tag soup too this season. I still had a great time and made lots of memories. In the real world things happen and I’m glad you guys keep it real. Thanks for taking us on your true outdoor adventures.
Yes, it's not all about the hunt, it's about being outside, making those memories and sharing the experience. We're glad you enjoy our journey this year. Yes, in the real-world things happen and we will show it. We have always said you will see the good times and the bad times. You are more than welcome, and thank you for watching and commenting, Marty. Juddie
Great video. Weither you shoot a deer or not doesn't make or break a season. Maken memories does though. 95 percent of my hunts im alone its good you two have each other to enjoy camp together. Thanks for taking us along. I always enjoy watchn
You are so right, Steve, memories are what we really want. Getting a deer just adds to those memories. It is ruff to hunt alone, I have had to do it when Jerod has to work. It makes for a long day. It is always fun to have someone to share it with. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie
Don’t ever apologize for giving your opinions. That’s why I watch so many videos to get the prospective of others to try and help me be a better outdoorsman. And I am like you with the scope mounts, I prefer high rise mounts and have those on my rifle I use. Have enjoyed your camp videos thanks for taking us along.
Appreciate the feedback, we all have our own opinions and experiences. We do learn from each other, and there are a lot of channels that are similar to mine that show the real world of hunting, like yours. All of my rifles have the high-rise mounts except for two or maybe three. The Mossberg Maverick, the HOWA and I think my Marlin XL do not have iron sites, therefore no see-thru mounts. But the rest have them. I even have some 22's that have see-thru mounts. We love making all the videos from bow hunting to muzzleloader hunting, but deer camp is our favorite. A whole week away from everything, no cellphones, no TV and hardly a radio station to pick up. Appreciate you watching and commenting, Keith. Juddie
@@ReelWVFishingandAdventures Keith, I haven't watched the Outdoor Channel in years. The biggest reason for that was that to me it isn't hunting like you and I are accustomed to.
Fellas thats why its called hunting, otherwise it’d be called killing. I didnt have a very good year myself i was sick a lot only got one small doe but she’ll eat good in fact i’ve already done some eating on her. Thank goodness my daughter and her hubby got some i had some venison cube steak and gravy with mashed potatoes and corn last night. I hope things get better for y’all before its over this year but we all need to be thankful for the times with our families. Best of luck to y’all. I appreciate your work to make these videos
Absolutely, John!! Hate to hear you were sick!! Hope you are doing better. That is good that your daughter and her husband were able to get some deer. Man, now John, you are making me hungry!!! Well, I am looking forward to a better 2025 hunting season, I don't think it could get any worse. It might, but we all know there are ups and downs in hunting. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie
Thanks for taking us along the ride to Camp Charlie this year. These are my highlight videos of the year that I always look forward to watching. Even though we didn’t get to see any Deliverance dancing around the camp fire, out of tune borderline drunkard singing and the fact that we miss Big Al, this season must come to a close. We look forward to next season. Keep up the good work and God Bless you and your family.
We are glad you enjoy them, Chad; we are blessed to have this place to go each year to spend time hunting. Yea, I missed not being about to set around the campfire, maybe do a little dancing, and a little singing. LOL We are already looking forward to next year, and I have already changed my scope, that will be coming out soon. Jerod still looking to see what he wants to get, he may get the same one I got. We learned a lot, like, make sure the slide is going to work properly!! Chad, we appreciate you always watching and commenting. Hope you have a great New Year. Juddie
Thanks for bringing us along. Enjoyed watching them. Hate you all didn’t get one but that’s how it goes. It’s real hunting. I would rather hunt like we do than any other way. You guys have a good new years
You are welcome, Adam., glad you enjoyed them. It was a rough year for the both of us. Don't know what the deal was with the deer movement this year. It didn't help that Jerod's scope messed up on him on Tuesday. At least this coming year, we both will have new scopes on our rifles, and we won't have to worry about a turret moving on us. Yes, it is real hunting, that is why we started this channel to show real hunting. Thanks for watching and commenting, and hope you have a good New Years. Juddie
I have a Bunshnell Banner with the same crosshair you're talking about that I have been using for about 25 years and it has never let me down. I think that a lot of people get to rapped up in how much money they spent on their gun, or scope, or ammo, and forget that confidence in your equipment is every bit as important.
Jeff, love the Bushnell Banner Circle X. Like I said in the video, I have one on my 700 BDL and I have had it for years. Has never let me down. I agree with you 100% about people getting wrapped up, but I also think that a lot of people seem to think you're not a true hunter unless you have this or that. To me "this or that" isn't going to make it any easier to get a deer. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
Thank you for sharing your stories with us this is real hunting for real hunters if you have ever spent time in the woods hunting then this what’s so special about this channel. I have enjoyed every episode of this journey. Looking forward to seeing the next videos.
It's what we love to do, hunt and share our experiences, Jr! Whether they are good or bad, you are going to see the real world of hunting, the ups and the downs. The slow days and the fast action days. So glad that you enjoyed the videos. We will keep doing what we do, and how we do it. Sometimes we may get up and get to our spots a half hour before daylight, sometimes we might get in there a half hour after daylight. We may stay until after sunset, or we may leave before sunset. Deer move the way they want to move, and when they want to, and of course our cameras doesn't show a lot of movement right at daybreak nor right at sunset in the areas we are hunting. We have had our best luck around 9AM to 11AM most of the time up there. There is so much area up there, you just never know when they will move and where. We really appreciate that you like the channel and appreciate that you watch and comment. Thank you. Juddie
Hello Juddie-Jerod man this deer season is one you guys can look back and say we made the best out of the circumstances we were dealt . seems like from the start things didn’t go well. Hey at least you two were together and deer hunting I really enjoyed the videos. Thanks 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Glenn, you are absolutely right. We made the best out of the circumstances we were dealt. That first day getting there really put a dampener on the whole week. It was hard to recover from that, but we did by Monday. Then had the cold and the wind to deal with the whole week. The cold we probably could have handled better if it hadn't been for that wind. Glenn, we made memories and some of those we can go back and laugh at, others still sting. Like Jerod missing that nice buck, just because we kept those scopes on those rifles. Mine has already been changed, and Jerod will be changing his as well. Glad you enjoyed the videos. I have several more already uploaded to TH-cam that will be coming out over the next couple weeks. Thank you for watching and commenting. Juddie
God bless ya'll it why we all watch you guys it to see and listen to ya'll not just to see stuff killed lol ya'll just keep on keeping on and we will keep on watching 😊😊😊 love all the videos keep them coming and god bless ya both 😊😊
Thank you, Charles, your comment is so appreciated. You know, setting in the woods for 6 to 8 hours or more, and you need to do a video, but there is not action, you got to tell the folks what is going on. So, a video that is 30 to 45 minutes long with some scenery, some shots of us looking into the woods, and some video of us talking is hardly anything. There is a lot of hours of us just setting and watching and hoping that something is going to come our way. It is hunting and before we started the channel, we just set there all day and still sometimes didn't see a thing. We really appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie
Great video buddy thanks for sharing this hunting and trapping season has been one of the worst I have ever seen. I always said Tv hunting shows have ruined what real hunting season is. Stay true to what hunting should be.
Mark, yes, this season has been brutal, and it's definitely not like the "TV hunting shows". Those shows have made the next generation of hunters think hunting is easy and there are big bucks everywhere. There are big bucks, but it takes work and actually luck! Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
Always enjoy and appreciate the videos. I wish you guys would have had better luck but as you said that’s hunting. Still you made memories to share. Thank you both for taking us along. Wishing you and your families a very happy and healthy New Year! Stay safe 👊🏻🦌
Thank you, Jonathan!! Oh, I wish would have had better luck. I know this next year; those rifles will have different scopes. I have already changed mine, video coming out soon. You know Jonathan, that is what it is about, the memories. Whether they are filled with fun, excitement, or frustrating and aggravating, it is the time spent with family and friends when hunting or anything. Thank you for watching and commenting, and hope you and yours have a happy and health New Year. Juddie
Enjoyed 2024 Camp Charlie!! Like Jerod said last day is always sad!! Hey Juddie it’s hunting in the real world that is what makes yall channel so great! Look forward to upcoming videos!!!
Thanks, Todd. Yes, the last day is always sad, you know it is going to be another year before you can get back. That is why we do what we do, to show people that it isn't like TV hunting at all. There are the times when you are lucky, have game everywhere, then there are the times you think they have vanished from the earth. I have about 6 videos all scheduled about 3 to 4 days apart coming out the next few weeks. Going to be working on some more as well. Todd, thank you for watching and commenting. Juddie
It’s hunting bud. I’ve had season where I didn’t see a thing over 2 weeks. It’s deer camp and that’s what counts just being able to get out and enjoy it. Nice series bud👍
Absolutely, Dan, it's not always about the kill, it's about being out there. This whole hunting season was off for some reason. We had a drought and that may have been one thing. I think also the rut hit early here. There are a lot of factors at play. At least we were at camp, and after getting the issue with the camper worked out we had a good time at camp, other than the cold and the extreme winds. Glad you enjoyed the series! Thanks for watching and commenting, Dan. Juddie
Yell Guys it's been a wild Hunting season. Talking to other hunters some had luck some Didn't and some didn't go out because of the weather and Wind.So Guys u gave it all u could, So that's a win for sure.👍. Juddie i was new at trout fishing up there and my Mom and Dad had been doing a few years, Me and my Dad was fishing on Knapps cr almost in town, really guit and all of sudden 2 of those military jets come down that valley and I bout jump out of the water didn't know what was going on,Looked at My Dad was just laughing 😂 never forget that for sure 👍✌️
Lonnie, it sure had been a wild hunting season. Same here, I see on social media where a lot were lucky and got nice bucks, but most of that was bow season. As for rifle season, I really haven't paid that much attention. Been busy getting all these videos done and uploaded. I have about 6 more videos coming in the next few weeks. Spent my holiday vacation working on them and did a little muzzleloader hunting. The weather was awful, I wouldn't mind the cold, but the wind is what made this year so bad at camp. We did the best we could and that is all anyone can do. I remember my first time hearing one of those jets, he was so low to the treetops, that when he banked to turn, I could see the guy in the cockpit. I thought for sure he was crashing. Then I was told that they do maneuvers there in the National Forest. Something like that, Lonnie, you never forget. That would have been something to see, your dad setting there laughing at you!! Thanks for watching, commenting and sharing that story. Juddie
We enjoyed ourselves, Ian, and it was sad to see it end. We always look forward to rifle season and camp. We do wish the weather would have been a little better, at least the wind, then we could have had some videos outside of camp. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie
Great video guys no need to apologize its real hunting we know how it goes hate to see deer season come to an end already counting down the days to next year happy new year to you guys thanks for all the videos
Happy New Year to you and your family, Dan. Thanks, I just hate that this year there wasn't a lot of action to share, whether we got something or not, seemed the deer just wasn't around much. Hate to see it end but looking forward and already counting down for next deer season. Have a few more videos coming, the last day at camp, and muzzleloader season, then there is the scope swap. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie
Been the worst season I've experienced in 25 years of hunting public ground. I hunted WV and KY during bow season and only saw one mature deer -- I feel your pain but we persevere because we love the outdoors. Keep the faith and keep on keeping on!
It's been a tough season, Mike, but it's always worth it to get out in the woods. We saw some deer during bow season, but not what we wanted to waste a tag on, and rifle season, well you know the story there. Jerod had his opportunity and didn't get it done. Not really his fault, it was the scope. We learned a hard lesson there; an exposed elevation turret is no place in the woods where anything can cause it to turn. Now I know they make scopes with exposed turrets that have locking rings or even have a cover, not sure why this company didn't put one or the other on these scopes knowing that they would be used in a hunting situation. Sorry, sort of got off topic. We have had other people tell us that it was a bad season for them as well. Some were lucky and others not lucky. That is why it is hunting and not killing. Thanks for watching and commenting, and here is to a better 2025 hunting season for us all. Juddie
Right there with you man haven't be back sentences i got buck good luck guys you guys seen something true outdoors adventure still good hunting until muzzleloader bow season
Joe, this is what we do, you get to see the good times when we are successful, and you get to see the bad times when we have no luck at all. That is true outdoor adventures for sure, not something you see on TV where they always seem to get that giant buck. Muzzleloader season video will be out in about 6 days. I have about 6 videos uploaded to TH-cam and scheduled for the next few weeks. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
Yeah, that week was pretty nasty, but it was nice to get out there hunting. We look forward to this every year. You know we bow hunt, we muzzleloader hunt, but deer camp up in the mountains is what we really live for. A week away from everything, no cellphones, no TV, and hardly any radio stations to pick up. I hope you did well this season, and if you have kept up with us, well you know our story all to well I am sure. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
Try you a vortex crossfire 4-14-44 they are excellent and will not break the bank! I can say they do very well in the mountains of North Carolina and I use it with high rise mounts.. Or I also have a crossfire 4-12x40 and it’s great too! Also with high rise mounts on a Remington pump 270
Daniel, Jerod is looking at Vortex, he found one he liked, but I told him that if it required a battery, he might not want that. Anything that requires a battery I do not like; it is just something else that can fail. Just plain Jane scope is all I want. I have already gotten my scope and swapped it out on my HOWA. That video will be out in a few days or may a week from now. It is uploaded and scheduled to air. It is the same scope I have used for years with no issues at all on my 700 BDL 30-06. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie
Juddie we do the same as you and have always used see-thru mounts on are Remington 760’s up here in Pa. I have had guys say it was wrong because of the difference in line of sight and the barrel but it sure never effected our crew at all.
We have never had issues with our rifles. Heck, my in-laws have always had see thru/high rise mounts on their rifles, and they have all had their rifles zero'd and gotten deer. Everyone wants to put the so-called science in there. It has worked for decades upon decades, rifles were made with iron sites and companies knew hunters would use scopes, so they came out with the see thru mounts. All my rifles have them except for the ones that didn't come with iron sites, I think two of them. The Mossberg Maverick 308 and the HOWA 1500 308 are the only two I do believe that doesn't have iron sites. Having the see-thru mounts gives you another opportunity to get on game quickly, or if they are two close to use the scope, you can drop to the iron sites. Glad to see someone thinks like I do about the issue. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
No need to apologize, guys. Thanks for sharing your hunts. I also had issues with my go pro batteries dying quickly due to the cold. I had too film with my phone aswell..
Yes, that cold weather does a number on batteries. For them to be sold as action cameras, they don't cut the mustard. My cellphone and my Canon camera batteries held up better than the GoPro batteries. My older GoPro Hero3+ I believe last longer in the cold than the Hero 7 or Hero 8! Appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie
No need to apologize for not getting anything or not seeing anything you guys videos are great look forward to seeing more in years to come best of luck in the future
Tommy, I just hate when we have a season like this where nothing goes right, the deer aren't moving. But then there are the times when it seems we are seeing deer left and right but might not see what we want to take. Then there are the times when we score. This just happened to be one of the down years for us. Thanks for the comment, glad you like the videos, and there will be more coming, that is for sure. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie
Another season gone on the mountain, a person doesn’t know what will happen this season has proven that to me this season hardly even got to hunt and hopefully I’ll be able to next year
Randy, it was a bad and you are so right, a person doesn't know what will happen! Hate to hear that you didn't get out much, hopefully, 2025, is a better year for all of us. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
Absolutely, Dwayne!! On my older rifles I have good Tasco 3-9x40's on them, and they are back from the 70's. That when there was good quality in Tasco. Now my 700 BDL has the Bushnell Banner Circle X on it and I love it. It has been on it since I have owned it and it hasn't failed me. Knock on wood!!! lol That is why I went to that scope for the replacement on my HOWA. I have a video coming out in a few days where I swap out the Nikko Stirling with the Bushnell. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
That's right, John. I have on my Remington 700 BDL 30-06, and it has been on there since I got the rifle years ago. That is why I like the Bushnell Banner Circle X scope, and why I bought one just as soon as I got back from camp to go on the HOWA 1500 308. I have already swapped out the scope and that video will be coming out in a few days or a week from now. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
I hate that Camp Charlie didn’t produce this year. We had many like that in the past years. My dad quit hunting a couple of years ago and we got off our lease, now my brother, son and I hunt in the back yard behind the barn. Not much land but used to have a lot of deer up until about a month ago. We now have a big homeless camp about 3 hundred yards from us now. That’s why we don’t see the deer anymore. We got 3 bucks this season. My brother got a 7 point and a huge 12 point. I got a 6 point. We have a lot of good memories though. Just like you and Jerod do I’m sure. Good luck on you muzzleloader hunt. Hope Jerod gets to hunt more than one day. Take care and Happy New Year 🎆 to you and your families. 🦌🦌🦌🦌. My dad always says, it’s hunting not killing.
Brian, congrats to your brother and you on getting a deer. Well, I am with you, I hate that Camp Charlie didn't produce, but we made the best of it and we had a good time after we got that slide out. It was down hearting that Jerod had the issue with his scope and missed on the first buck, which was a nice one for him, and then on the other one. We of course always cherish the memories we make when we are together, and especially at camp. I have already changed out my scope, video coming in about a week, and Jerod is waiting till after the holidays to get his. Not sure what he is getting, he may get the same one I got. Homeless camp with 300 yards of you, now that would be a scary thing to me. Muzzleloader has come and gone; I have a video coming out the end of the week. Jerod didn't get to muzzleloader hunt due to work. Your dad is a wise man!! It is hunting, not killing! Take care, and thanks for watching and commenting, and Happy New Year to you and yours. Juddie
Definitely a tuff year. Juddie i use a action camera i got from amazon. Ive looked hard at go pros but Ive heard to much negative things about the for the price tag. Jarred was right. You never know when it will be your last hunt anywhere
Brian, it sure was a tuff year. Some were lucky when you look on social media, of course a lot of that was during bow season. Don't know how the numbers will turn out, but I bet here for Fayette County, from the people I have talked to it will be down. If not, then someone in Charleston is fudging the numbers. I have several GoPros, as I am sure you know from watching our videos, the old GoPro Hero 3+ I believe does better in the cold more than the Hero 7 and Hero 8. They are expensive, my first GoPro that I got I bought second handed from a guy who got it for fishing/hunting and maybe used it a few times. Got it real reasonable, then I got another Hero 7 new from B&H at a discount due to the fact they were already out with the Hero 9 or 10. Like you said they are pricy, and you would think for the price they would do better in the cold. That has been the only issue I have is the cold and the older 7 that I got second hand seems to want to freeze the video, but I have noticed that happens more in the cold. Brian, none of us know when it will be our last time to hunt. We are not promised tomorrow, that is for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting, and sorry so long of a reply. Juddie
No sights on new guns are stupid. What is the reason? Almost bought a new gun few years ago, then I realized it didn't have iron sights. See thru mounts that give me 2 options, are on all my deer rifles. I've probably shot almost as many using the iron sights as i have the scope. Sometimes you just don't get time to get the scope on the deer. Or deer come in too close. Sun shining on scope. All kinds of different scenarios that iron sights are necessary. .
You got that right, Nick!!! I would like to know the reason as well!! I only have two rifles that don't have iron sites, the Mossberg Maverick 308 and the HOWA 1500 308, maybe 3 rifles, my Marlin XL7 25-06 might not have iron sites. That is what I have tried to explain about having 2 options available. Everything you mentioned is a reason to have see thru mounts on your rifle if you have iron sites. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
Well, that is an option, but the HOWA has proven itself, it was just that scope that came with it. That has already been taken care of, but the one thing I have learned is, ALWAYS, bring a backup rifle. It was my fault that we didn't have back up rifles with us. I chose not to take one to safe space, therefore, Jerod didn't take a backup either. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
My 2024 hunting season in Raleigh county West Virginia was not no good either did not get nothing did not see nothing it was not a good hunting season this year last year in 2024 looking forward for the 2025 hunting season hopefully be better
Pretty much the same here, Josh. 2024, was a bad year for sure for a lot of hunters. Don't know if it was due the drought we had or what. Let's both hope that 2025 is a better year for us both. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
James, that is something in the camera. Don't know if it is the auto focus or what, Jerod's Canon does the same thing. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie
Use what works I have a nikon pair of binos and the rubber coating is coming off of it and if nikon is not going to give me a new one then I will spend the money and get vortex I love my nikons but iam not going to use something that's not going to hold up I will switch and also the front lens keeps popping out and won't stay in it so it's time to send it to nikon or buy a new one
I totally understand, James. It used to be that companies would stand behind their products better. Now days it takes an act of congress to get something covered under a warranty. Back in the 70's and 80's, if you had a scope that fogged up or something went wrong, let's say crosshairs broke, you could contact the company, mail it in yourself and get it repaired or replaced. The company would ship you the replacement or new one without you having to pay shipping, and no sales receipt was required. Today, you have to have the original sales receipt, get a return shipping label, pay for the shipping back to you to get one repaired or replaced. Who keeps sales receipts??? Also, if you order online, you really don't have a sales receipt. Well, I guess you do, if you have a printer to print it out. I have already replaced the scope on my rifle and Jerod will be replacing his after the first of the year. This issue won't happen again. Thanks for watching and commenting, and hope you get your bino's taken care of. Juddie
Jimmy, what little bit we did talk in this video, it is only a fraction of the time we spent just setting or even still hunting in the woods. Here you have maybe a 30-to-45-minute video from a 6 to 8 hour set in the woods. When we aren't seeing anything is when we turn the camera on and talk, and there have been times when this has happened, and deer have walked in. We are there to hunt, and to enjoy ourselves, and to also put out content on the channel, when nothing is moving, we tell the audience what is going. We could do 30-to-45-minute video of us just panning around the woods with the camera, and some shots of us just setting there watching, but we are showing the true experience of setting in deep timber all day hoping to catch some deer in their natural habitat. Jerod and I have been lucky just still hunting, talking to each other and actually walked up on deer. Did we spook them, some yes, and some no and we got opportunities to harvest an animal. We do appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie
I dont know why your constantly defending killing anything yall see ...I understand your hunting state land...but your statement that hunting a farm or leased land isn't real hunting ...to me it's just an excuse...do you and don't worry about what other "hunters" think....by the way yall would probably see alot more deer if yall could close that pie hole till your out of the woods...just saying
Kevin, I don't know if you're in WV or not, but we defend what we are shooting because a small group in this state have been pushing for years for a 1 buck limit. Last year they convinced our DNR Commission to impose a 2-buck limit. This same group will put people down for taking a spike, a 4 point or even a 6 point, all they want to take are record bucks. They will say "you should have given it another year" or "wonder what he would have been in a year or two", also they will say "shoot a doe". Nothing wrong with shooting a doe, if you can, not all counties have a doe season, and the National Forest land doesn't allow a doe season. Of course, bow hunting isn't a problem in the National Forest when it comes to taking a doe, just not during rifle season. What I meant in my statement was the shows you watch on the Outdoor Channel, the farmland and leased land that you see those guys on TV hunt. I didn't mean it for everyday people like us. Jerod and I hunt on a club that leases 8,000 acres, we hunt his farm. TV makes it seem so simple and doesn't show what we consider real hunting in the real world. Those people on those shows, have farms, but they are more like deer farms, with fields and woods around to just raise deer. As I mentioned to someone else, we give you a 30 to 40, sometimes 50-minute video out of a 6-to-8-hour set. We are hunting and producing content. What little bit we did talk in this video, it is only a fraction of the time we spent just setting or even still hunting in the woods. Here you have maybe a 30-to-45-minute video from a 6 to 8 hour set in the woods. When we aren't seeing anything is when we turn the camera on and talk, and there have been times when this has happened, and deer have walked in. We are there to hunt, and to enjoy ourselves, and to also put out content on the channel, when nothing is moving, we tell the audience what is going on. We could, instead, do 30-to-45-minute video of us just panning around the woods with the camera, and some shots of us just setting there watching, but we are showing the true experience of setting in deep timber all day hoping to catch some deer in their natural habitat. Turning the camera on to tell the viewers how things are going. Jerod and I have been lucky just still hunting, talking to each other and actually walked up on deer. Did we spook them, some yes, and some no and we got opportunities to harvest an animal. Sometimes we have just met up and stood there for around 30 minutes or so discussing what we have or haven't seen, discussing a strategy for the remainder of the day. Then out of the blue had a deer, buck or doe, show up. You never know when a deer will show up. Last year, 2023, while checking my trial camera up on this mountain, I was pulling the camera out of the steel box I built for it and out walked the 6 point that I took. He was maybe 20 to 30 yards from me. He didn't even see me reach for my rifle that was up against the tree, he didn't pay attention at all to the noise of me opening up the steel box. So, you never know where they will be, never know if you talking will spook them or not. Glad you like our matching outfits. We had the hoodies made with our logo on them. Anyhow, we appreciate you watching and commenting. Sorry, we aren't what you expect from a hunting channel. Juddie
@JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures hmmmmm well the one buck thing has definitely made a HUGE difference in Kentucky...you see alot more mature bucks....I really don't care what yall shoot...if your enjoying yourselves that's all that matters...in Kentucky you get one buck and 3 does...that's state land also...mabe yall should talk to your legislation and get some people in there that actually research and do what's best for a productive deer harvest and population....I hunt private land and I assure you if I'm not having "true outdoor adventures " there is no such thing.
Oh and by the way I don't watch people shooting pets on high fence ranches for the multi rich....or 20,000 guided hunts...they are closer and closer everyday making it to where only the mega rich are able to...."HUNT"...IF YOU WANT TO CALL IT THAT.
Oh and by the way...why is it called camp Charlie...is it some kind of military thing?...oh yeah I almost forgot...did big al stop coming because you insulted him saying how messy he was...or was it health issues....when he would start talking on old videos it sounded like he needed an iron lung...wheezing and huffing...just wondering.
Win some and lose some, the losses suck!!!!! Better times ahead is my motto 👍
Juddie
No need to apologize brother, it's real hunting and that's why we love your channel. Real hunters, real hunts
We appreciate that, brother! Yes, it is real hunting, and that is what we bring with every video, Newman. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Juddie
@ I like it real and that’s what I want to do as well. I get enough production by turning on the outdoor channel. I like real everyday scenarios.
@@ReelWVFishingandAdventures Keith, I haven't watched the Outdoor Channel in years. The biggest reason for that was that to me it isn't hunting like you and I are accustomed to.
@ it is not for sure
Juddie
@ I’ll most definitely be on the lookout. Happy New Year to all your family
Getting all the chores done and then watching tonight.
Justin, chores got to come first. You will get to it when you can. Thanks.
Juddie
Thank you guys for a great video as always!
We appreciate you watching and commenting.
Juddie
WV 🎉gods country 🎉🎉
It sure is!! Love it here. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Juddie
Can’t wait to watch later 👍
Appreciate that, Chad! I know you're a busy guy and you will get around to it. Juddie
Deer or no deer it was a very enjoyable hunting video. Thanks for taking us along .
Juddie
I was in Ohio for your hunting season and it was cold
and nasty most of that week, got to say you did good to be hunting.
Thank You for the Video 👍🏻
Juddie
@JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures yeah for what they cost, think it would be better batteries, lol..
Happy New Year to ya, fellas, and your family..
@@RoamingOutward Happy New Year to you and your family as well. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Just watched your deer camp video.
@@JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures thanks for watching it..
Juddie
That was a great video you all thanks
Appreciate you watching and commenting, Mike!
Juddie
@ hopefully it will be better for everyone
There is nothing wrong with a Bushnell scope i have had my Bushnell scope on my 30-06 for 30 years and its still fine and sighted in
Absolutely, Dwayne!! Juddie
@JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures can't wait until I watch the video
Nothing wrong with a Bushnell, I have a mid-grade on one of my 308's.
Juddie
Get back to the old school Juddie. The ol wood stock Remys with the iron sights. Tried and true.
Juddie
What's that clicking sound I have a old woman deer call that sounds a lotclikexit
Juddie
You both ain't gonna kill anything talking
Juddie
I dont know why your constantly defending killing anything yall see
...I understand your hunting state land...but your statement that hunting a farm or leased land isn't real hunting ...to me it's just an excuse...do you and don't worry about what other "hunters" think....by the way yall would probably see alot more deer if yall could close that pie hole till your out of the woods...just saying
Oh and I just love yalls matching outfits lmbo.
Thank you guys for a great video as always!
