I am eating these sand cooked corns since very childhood, but I never knew how much effort they have to put it, roaming around in streets, selling them for 50 Ruppiess, there respect level has increased even more ❤️

About 15 years ago these corn were available everywhere in Pakistan but due to inflation i have not seen it since. Its tasta is very unique and flavour are mild but awesome

In Mexico corn is roasted in the husks on coals and sold on the street on carts. This reminds me of it.

They are not dirty from inside. You know how many layers a corn has. Dirt can't get inside. I have eaten these a lot time. I don't prefer street foods much but these are not unhygienic.

Hi the sand are sterilised by heat and the corn are still covered in it’s own packaging so it is safe to, no thing different from BBQ or grilled corn. 🌽

I always cook corn with microwave oven together with the skin. It very nice , a lot different from corn cooked without skin because the aroma stays within the corn.

In the West if you see fresh corn in supermarkets bring home bake that night in microwave without removing any green leaves. After 7-8 minutes remove and cut off stalk end only and draw the cob out whilst squeezing top end....will come out without any silk and tastes perfect. Or bbq with all leaves on....serve with butter and tears of joy.

Too much work and dirty due to the ash. A better way of cooking corn is by boiling and also by burning charcoal, easier ways
Every step of that process looks unnecessarily labor intensive. It is probably good but that looks like a lot of work for roasted corn.
I was about to comment about how inefficient this is…
could have just boiled some for 5 to 10 mins or put in conventional oven to roast for ten minutes or 10 to 15 mins on barbecue. he's an old man who's never cooked in his life and wanted to make a video and start a cooking channel. needs a bit more work , and tone it down a bit . most people haven't got, or want, an outside furnace or cement or tons of sand and men available to shovel it , so maybe a few alterations. doesn't say why he wanted to roast all that corn? the hidden gem in this video is the man who stacks the corn, carefully balanced upright , in the trolly, barrow,thingy. he's missing his way, and think he'll go far. far ,far , away,possibly with his friend the cook ? never to be seen again?. 😂

@@brendachew3769this is a known traditional way, which gives a distinct flavor to the corn, the people in those regions look for that, which can't be achieved by boiling or oven (which not everyone have one in their house)
