Apparently the shitty FAB defense grips they put on them break a lot, unsurprisingly. It also seems they didn't install the Cry Havoc QD system right cause they have zero return issues.
Awesome video! I still have my very first rifle ever, given to me in 1977 from my granddad. It’s an original Armalite A7-7. It doesn’t have picatiny rails like the new ones do, and only have one magazine, but it still works, after possibly thousands of rounds I’ve put through it over the years. It got put away in the early 1990’s and finally brought out again to teach my grandson to shoot with it. Handing it down to him soon. Thanks for recognizing how cool of a .22 this is. Aloha! 🤙🏽
I remember around 1984-5ish I found a Ramline 25 round magazine for it. It became a fun gun to plink with after that as my 10/22 only had a 10 round magazine.
I never owned any of the older manufactured AR7s by other companies. But I never had a malfunction with the Henry AR-7 I had. Kinda want to get one again but also don’t see the real need when I have a 10/22 takedown. Especially with the magpul stock makes it kinda hard to justify. Have had a few failures to extract with the 10/22 however.
I've had a few feeding issues with mine as well. It seems to be a magazine issue, and it seems to need a nice coat of lube-super fun rifles, especially for the price and history.

.22 lr is just a very dirty round. Maybe polishing the chamber may help with extraction but its just best to clean after a few mags.
