How to beat Promised Consort Radahn | Elden Ring Boss Guide

- Promised Consort Radahn is the insanely difficult final boss of Elden Ring's new DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. In this video I show you how to deal with Radahn and beat him (no summons) using a blood affinity spear and greatshield.

Just a quick couple things I'd like to add on this. 1st off THANK YOU! This worked very well I got it done after a few hours (Old bad habits made it go much longer than it should have), but the main issue with this specific way is that the drop rate for that Spear you used is so low that it was impossible for me to get 😭
Thankfully Mohgwyn's Spear is a pretty decent substitute with it causing decent bleed and scaling well with arcane, but highly recommend using Golden Vow at least 3 times (once before entering and 2 while you're in there mainly to help yourself AND any summons you have in there to deal extra damage and gain some defense) and without bloodhound step you can still survive his Fire Meteor crash thing. Just run to the outside like he did, but turn around before he lands to face the explosion and block it. If you are using a maxed out great shield with those talismans, then you'll be totally fine with just some of hp damage, but it shouldn't one shot you if it's full prior.
It was NG+2 for me
Character was Level 240
Main Stats: Vigor 60, Endurance 50, Strength 60, Arcane, 53, Faith 35... (I can't remember the rest lol)
I used the EXACT SAME talismans and used Radahn's Great Rune
Scadutree Fragments Lv.15 and Revered Spirit Ash Lv.6 (used maxed out Mimic)
I had the two NPC summons in there with me as well and I used the Fingerprint Shield (maxed too)

I wanna thank man for this brilliant build , I’ve been trying to beat him for 4 days trying many builds but this one you mentioned with great shield helped me so good 5 times then the six one finally did it 👏🏽😄
Yeah, I did basically the same, however for the rock throw you can run sideways and jump and it works too. Stamina management is the hardest bit about this strategy, the double turtle talisman and stamina regen tear help.
Thanks for another great guide! Once I went out to get the missing talismans and tears, the stamina issue was fixed, and Thiollier+Mimic and I went to work on Radahn. Felt so good to get this weight off my shoulders.
Completely agree re the second phase, I couldn’t find any sort of pattern in the 2nd phase with the constant holy damage. Did it last night using this build, thanks very much!!
Really wish I wasn't on NG+3 when I started the DLC.

OK thank you so much tried many two handed builds with both mimic and summons and it just wasn't working. Moved to this build word for word, tried solo twice just to get the patterns down with the shield, summoned another awesome shield and spear buddy and BOOM he was down! Thank you again.
