This is actually a good example of why we dont see any chinese EVs being sold in the US... One reason is to protect domestic auto production because china makes electric cars for like 4 to 5 grand... so much cheaper it would put all the other automakers out of business . But guessing since we have no domestic scooter production no one really cares(yet) 😂 . Ive heard The chinese manufacturers of these escooters are actually taking a loss by selling so cheap . (Selling cheaper than it costs to make them) But because the chinese government has HUGE subsidies for their domestic electric vehicle manufacturing, these companies will still come out ahead after tax time. China has been criticized for this very thing because it upsets the international markets by making it impossible for anyone else outside china to compete. TLDR The chinese government is responsible for these insanely low prices.
AliExpress has it listed for 2000 dollars original price, then marked down significantly. and from everything I've seen so far it does seem like it could be a $2, 000 scooter esp if it contains Samsung cells. It only goes 50 when you have it in sport, with both motors engaged, and bury the throttle for 10+ seconds. On the lowest settings like most scooters this can cruise at a leisurely 5 mph on a busy sidewalk. I rented an Unagi for a short (4.1 mile) commute on back roads. The problem is that one of the two roads has no bike lane and 45 mph speed limit for 2-3 miles. Unfortunately with a limited speed of 19 mph the Unagi was too slow to feel safe in traffic going 45. I ended up buying a kukirin g2 master on sale for 799. (Roughly 900 after tax) It has a top speed of 45 mph, dual motors, dual suspension, off road tires, and a real world 18 mile range. It also has a higher waterproof rating with ipv5. TLDR: I'm a newbie scooter rider myself, and I usually use a fraction of the power this thing has because it scares me. However it's nice to know you have that power on tap in an emergency when you need to get out of a car's way or move with traffic flow.

I was looking for scooter and found this scooter too. But I've read a lot of reviews and even pictures of people having to get stitches because of the "death wooble". When you rode it did it happen to you? how often or does it only happen when you reach a certain speed? Is there a way to prevent the death wobble?
I haven't personally had any death wobble, But i do make sure to tighten the adjuster screw Before every ride, and potentially during the ride if it starts to feel unstable.
I don’t have this scooter but some scooters get wobbly at high speed they sell steering dampers but idk if it will be compatible. I think a death wobble you could be fine and then just get it. Even motorcycles get it. Not sure what causes it tho

Let me translate that. Under the locking red handle you will find a spring tensioned 10mm screw. Tighten that down with a wrench with a 6" extension and a deep well 10mm socket. That accelerator with the screen on it that duplicates the bigger screen info.. it's there because it's old stock they are buying for pennies. That would come off immediately. I would put a heavy duty strap around the red lever that folds it, they have sprung open mid ride before. Not a pleasant experience.
@@FrugalPCOG I did actually tighten that bolt and it completely got rid of the play. I also did a ton of different tests to see if that level (folding lever) Could come out on its own. bro till this day ur like the only person to review this scooter and you grandma'd it 😭😭I wanna get something faster and a top speed video would relly help
I’d be wary of buying a questionable unit like that from China, especially due to the lithium battery. These batteries can pose serious risks if they aren’t from reputable brands with strict safety standards. With my experience in the lithium battery industry, I’ve seen the potential dangers firsthand. Given that this scooter was purchased in China, I’d advise keeping it outside, never charging it indoors, adhering to the recommended temperature guidelines, avoiding overcharging, and regularly inspecting the battery and charger for any signs of overheating, swelling, or damage, particularly after a crash. Stay safe!
They have been in and out of stock lately a lot everywhere. If you search google for GT08 scooter you can likely find one new on ebay, I did notice there is a seller out of California I believe.
I think Virginia Tech would help you test that helmet and provide it a certification score. If I'm not mistaken, they do it for free and would be cool if you went and filmed there when they did it
They do seem to be sold out. I would check aliexpress as well I've seen them there. Search 5600 watt scooter and just compare the pictures should be the same one
Idgaf what anyone says imma use Cc 💳 & I’m gonna grab one , no matter what , like you’ve said. The batteries can be upgraded if they do fail. The motors and controller are well worth the cost tho. And I’ll still be in cheaper than anything in its class if I do upgrade it.
I bought my GT08 from Aliexpress. $740 bucks. I've had it a week and this thing is fast and solid. I tightened everything before going out on the road and had 0 issues.
My Helmet is, the Temu helmet says it is, but in all fairness you cant really trust stickers and engravings like that when purchasing from places like Temu
this price is far from safe battery will be on the cheap side🙄 i would park this thing outside within a concrete enclosure when not riding it. it is not rain or waterproof either. probably good for those live in california like any others.
It is pretty highly water resistant as you could see when i took the battery case cover off. So far a little over 300 miles and about 6 full charges no issues. I'll keep updated if i run into any in the future
This scooter looks amazing and i want to buy it but I'm scared the battery on this scooter might be low quality generic Chinese battery. As this could become fire hazard. Mate when you charge this scooter does the charger gets warm or overheat, i dont want something that'll burny house down. But i want something that's fast how far can you go in terms of range on this scooter!
It gets about the same temperature as all of the other chargers but not super hot as it does have an active cooling fan in it. I was getting 30-35 miles on a full charge BUT that said, I was using it in dual motor full power mode the entire time. So im sure you could get a lot more if you ran single motor and drove a bit easier!
@UnboxAnalysisOfficial to be fair I actually did go on temu to find the scooter but it must be region specific. I live in the uk. Would be highly illegal unless on private roads 🤔
@UnboxAnalysisOfficial not only that. Unless you use the rental one's they have scattered around the streets you can't ride them at all lol. So you can buy one from a store or online but if the police see you riding it on the street they can pull you over fine you and seize the scooter.
There are so many scooters coming out that the most important is the batteries....and most top end dont use Samsung or any other top brands.....i saw my buddy purchase a ninebot and it lasted 5 months were my other friends kukirin was faster and lasted 10 times the amount!
@UnboxAnalysisOfficial Honestly, I've not seen that stylr around this area at all, but usually these things end up in our shop. Specifically Amazon and AliExpress.
@UnboxAnalysisOfficial Well, it's just like we got a Amazon bike in right now. The Guy said he paid 2000 for it... Ahora Romeo ebike, He's had it for 4 months and brought it in. After running test realize that controller, a of the 2 controllers was burned out. The the controller is specific to this ebike. And the way it fits into the frame. Therefore, you cannot buy an outsourced. Controller set and make it work. The frame would literally have to be modified now in order to do after market parts. The company keeps making excuses why they can't send out the part. Now they're saying the parts not available. The bike's been here for over a month now. And we're constantly going back-and-forth with them emailing them. The bill quality is nice. The electrical components inside pretty much suck, including the batteries.
No offense, but it all just looks like cheap Chinese stuff. It’s cheap because the largest expense when manufacturing is the cost of employment and they pay very little in China.
I know that park I have a scooter myself!!! We should definitely ride together sometime I'd love to check that scooter out I really want to get another one & maybe you could help me fix something on the one I have as well!!!
Problem with that adjuster bolt, is if you tighten it to where its fully stable you cant fold the scooter. so you have to loosen it a bit to be able to fold.
Well so far about 150 miles on it, still feels fine. I do wonder where they cheeped out though. Its still hard to believe this is under $1000 and does what it does. I'll make sure to put a pinned comment if anything fails
Found a screw to adjust the front end, and its still awesome. Much more solid than before with a few simple turns of one adjustment screw. 100% my favorite scooter so far.
There are A LOT of faked DOT/SNELL "certified" helmets out there. Be SUPER CAREFUL - Your face and brain are *NOT* two things you want to take chances with. That said, it would be super cool to see how the TEMU helmet holds up against something known to be the real deal, then if it passes it can be a (possible) recommendation. Keep up the awesome work w the channel.
Man i hope that front box doesnt fly off, its the steering lock (degree limiter) But I get where your coming from. Whats your favorite design for a scooter?
17:20 Instead of blasting this godawful noise in my ears, talk about what's going on!!!! Endless of minutes of empty droning and then when you get to the important part, you play this awful copyright free music.
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial Because it's terrible. But aside from being terrible, we have different tastes in music. Whether it is from the youtube music library or some paid service, it's not good music. You don't get good music for small potatoes. It's ENTIRELY produced on a computer, probably by an ai. Even if this was the type of music I enjoy, it still isn't good quality music. I'm a big fan of music having actual instruments. Listen to a midi of Mozart and then Mozart being played by actual instruments. The ride is the most important part of the video. That is when you should be talking about the scooter as I said above. I'm not just trying to give you a hard time. What the scooter is like to unbox isn't very important. How it rides, what the range is, how it handles, how it does on hills etc are all far more important. You spend 10 minutes unboxing it and then years riding it.
Well you didnt listen very well. They sponsored the other stuff, I paid for the scooter out of pocket. And some of the stuff they sponsored and sent over, like the helmet I straight up said I dont know If I would trust it and will likely do further testing to verify if its safe to use. I will 100% be honest even if its sponsored, Thats part of an agreement a company has to be alright with before I'll take any sponsors.
@UnboxAnalysisOfficial I did listen very well....when people are testing or giving reviews on a product or vehicle they are sponsored by the item their reviewing....so they don't have an honest review

@@TH-camiswoke-p7i Apologies, but this is the only scooter ive reviewed from Temu so I cant in good faith recommend any others!
bro till this day ur like the only person to review this scooter and you grandma'd it 😭😭I wanna get something faster and a top speed video would relly help
I messed up my edit a bit, Top speed for me was 48mph. I'll have some more footage of it in a future video labeled My favorite temu items !
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial 48mph?!!! That's freaking insane for $710 (on AliExpress) ! If the battery life is decent than that'd be one hell of a deal!
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial48mph using a gps tracker or the display? Usually the scooter displays lie
@@betogarcia3215 I used a GPS app on my phone thats really accurate to test the speed it was pretty on point within 1mph difference
How much is death scooter? I need one
Stay safe!
Stop overcharging those cheap batteries
Great video:)
I see the budgets expanded, Lol moved up from the pool. Nice show, Gaz. 🇦🇺 🪃
Slightly haha, but depending on how this video goes it might go back down again 😅
Where do you even get the link to buy this
They have been in and out of stock lately a lot everywhere. If you search google for GT08 scooter you can likely find one new on ebay, I did notice there is a seller out of California I believe.
Would be a cool beer getter to the Indian store but idk if I want to pay 900 for a 5 minute walk
Whats name of the scooter?
The best way to find it online is by the name Gt08
helmet is discontinued on Temu
Anyone know the name of it ?
Best way to find this scooter is to search for the GT08
I think you should test the helmet two ways the way it is tested for a DOT rating and also the way it is tested for a SNELL rating
Ive actually reached out to Snell testers to get a better list of ways to test the helmet!
been discontinued
If you do still want to find this scooter just search GT-08 on ebay or google.
I think Virginia Tech would help you test that helmet and provide it a certification score. If I'm not mistaken, they do it for free and would be cool if you went and filmed there when they did it
Not a bad idea to have a company do it! Thanks for the suggestion
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial No worries. Its a University that's very well known for their Helmet testing lab
I can’t seem to find this model in TEMU.. you bought the last one 😢
They do seem to be sold out. I would check aliexpress as well I've seen them there. Search 5600 watt scooter and just compare the pictures should be the same one
Depending on where you live, I recommend not to use any phonemount. Someone might grab your phone and disappear.
Looks like the only place i see them now is Ebay, most places are sold out. Search GT08 scooter
I bought my GT08 from Aliexpress. $740 bucks. I've had it a week and this thing is fast and solid. I tightened everything before going out on the road and had 0 issues.
Is your helmet Dot approved it should say on the back of the helmet
My Helmet is, the Temu helmet says it is, but in all fairness you cant really trust stickers and engravings like that when purchasing from places like Temu
this price is far from safe battery will be on the cheap side🙄 i would park this thing outside within a concrete enclosure when not riding it. it is not rain or waterproof either. probably good for those live in california like any others.
It is pretty highly water resistant as you could see when i took the battery case cover off. So far a little over 300 miles and about 6 full charges no issues. I'll keep updated if i run into any in the future
the moment you said from TEMU my HEART sank!!! don't buy junk
Camping scooter way back in the woods by a river!👍
I knew it recognized the Homer fire department lol
I bet if you test the motor the wattage is way off
Its possible, but in the end if they do the speed they say.. Im not really too worried about the actual voltage or wattage on the units.
I'd be so nervous spending so much on an item from temu.
I was.. 😅
@UnboxAnalysisOfficial to be fair I actually did go on temu to find the scooter but it must be region specific. I live in the uk. Would be highly illegal unless on private roads 🤔
@@scottbutcher9093 Guessing scooters in the UK are limited to 25kph and slower?
@UnboxAnalysisOfficial not only that. Unless you use the rental one's they have scattered around the streets you can't ride them at all lol. So you can buy one from a store or online but if the police see you riding it on the street they can pull you over fine you and seize the scooter.
@@scottbutcher9093 dang .. that sucks sorry to hear that
There are so many scooters coming out that the most important is the batteries....and most top end dont use Samsung or any other top brands.....i saw my buddy purchase a ninebot and it lasted 5 months were my other friends kukirin was faster and lasted 10 times the amount!
good luck with TEC support why is the screen dancing
Cant find it on temu i woulda bought it shouted your channle out nice scooter man
Hey man, Check on ebay and google for the *GT08* If you cant find it then let me know, I've got a direct contact at the factory that makes them now.
I wouldn't call phones computers or smartphone more like dumb phones half the time
So if it's made in China I have no need much less desire for it
Says the person that has no idea that most EVERYTHING you own is made in China... lmao
I thought this was about the scooter review not GoPro plugs 😢
How did i plug a gopro? 😂
I absolutely love companies like this. They're scooters constantly end up in my shop and I get to make lots of money.
Have you had this GT08 one in your shop?
@UnboxAnalysisOfficial Honestly, I've not seen that stylr around this area at all, but usually these things end up in our shop. Specifically Amazon and AliExpress.
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial BTW That company is a bit sketchy.
@@theebikeguy3852 In what way? Got any details for me?
Never mentioned the speed!!!, and for a good reason…..
I showed it in the video, It hit 46MPH max with my weight of 185 lbs.
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial I did not see the full speedometer no problem 46 is great!
The apollo pro goes 75
For $3,300 + it had better go 75 😂
Traveling on the scooters
The inside of that scooter does not inspire confidence. Jesus Christ the wires...
I imagine for the price Cable management isnt a priority 😅
No offense, but it all just looks like cheap Chinese stuff. It’s cheap because the largest expense when manufacturing is the cost of employment and they pay very little in China.
I know that park I have a scooter myself!!! We should definitely ride together sometime I'd love to check that scooter out I really want to get another one & maybe you could help me fix something on the one I have as well!!!
Oh nice! Live local then?
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial yes I do!! I go to Mill Pond all the time with my kiddos 😁😁😁 I've never met anyone before who did TH-cam!!!
Not bad 👍🏽⚡️
Do you ever heard a loctite
Problem with that adjuster bolt, is if you tighten it to where its fully stable you cant fold the scooter. so you have to loosen it a bit to be able to fold.
I wouldn't trust that scooter!🤦🏼♂️ That thing looks like it's going to fall apart from just driving it
Well so far about 150 miles on it, still feels fine. I do wonder where they cheeped out though. Its still hard to believe this is under $1000 and does what it does. I'll make sure to put a pinned comment if anything fails
How is it now ???
Found a screw to adjust the front end, and its still awesome. Much more solid than before with a few simple turns of one adjustment screw. 100% my favorite scooter so far.
Thing is garbage. That front plate is super sketch you basically are going to damage the scooter over time it should be smooth.
Im doing some research before hand on some legitimate tests before I make the video!
seriously never seen this folding mechanism? this design has been mass used by generic scooters for years..........😂
That Scooter are Bullshut...
Kukirin do it better for that Prince
Which one? I dont see anything they have that will go anywhere near 45-50 MPH for under 1000$ or even near that price?
Check the kukirin G4,its about 850€/$@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial
That’s a bad folding mechanism..
It is actually 100% the easiest and fastest way out of any of my scooters that do fold. The only question is will it last
That seems like a good unit but is ugly af 😂😂 that box in the front would fly right off and the mountains on the side too
Man i hope that front box doesnt fly off, its the steering lock (degree limiter) But I get where your coming from. Whats your favorite design for a scooter?
Talk about it being the fastest but i didn’t here a proven by test top speed way to blwow
It was 48MPH for me @ 185lbs Flat ground
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficialthank you apologies rewatched the vid and got the max speed did you get the max range by chance
@Bluefalcon6154 it was around 40 miles driving at lower speeds. 30 is more realistic
Test the helmet
17:20 Instead of blasting this godawful noise in my ears, talk about what's going on!!!! Endless of minutes of empty droning and then when you get to the important part, you play this awful copyright free music.
I mean its actually copywritten music that i pay for, you're more than welcome to skip that part. I do keep most of it altogether for that very reason
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial If you paid for it, you paid too much.
@@tarstarkusz why's that ?
@@tarstarkusz to each their own. I get that. I'm also still fairly new to TH-cam learning more every day ^^
it is FAST
Over 300 miles on it still running CRAZY Strong!

What is misleading? What should I be ashamed of?
This scooter sucks 😂
Alright but why, and compared to what?
Fastest in the world? 🤨
I hit 55mph on my Inmotion RS coming to work like 2 hours ago! 😂
Sure but isnt that like $4,000? Title states fastest in the world UNDER $1000

What type of scooters are banned in the UK?
Sponsored by temu......your review is corrupt ....talking like you gave it 10 stars..
Then you've been watching the wrong channels. If a company sponsoring a review, wont let me use my actual honest opinion i turn them down immediately. Im not giving up my integrity, especially not for $200 in products from temu. I will be upfront and honest every time.
I agree
