Important thing to remember this is a dual core GPU again and is only 6GB of GDR5 efficient... EVEN SLI 12+12 gb would still give 6GB cuz it's life. U just get faster clock speeds....

I've had my Titan X for a couple weeks and absolutely love it. I just tried OCing it for the first time and apparently I got a monster chip. I was able to be rock solid at 1,500 MHZ on the boost clock and +100 on the memory. I achieved this without unlocking the mV and on air. The temps weren't even that bad with the fan at 100%. I think the highest temp I saw during the heaven benchmark at 1,500 mhz was mid 70's Celsius with the fan at 100%. In case you can't do math that's a 50% increase in clock speed over the base clock. The fan is pretty noisy but not so loud it's annoying through headphones. I didn't even try to go higher but considering how solid it was at 1,500 I could probably even push a little more. My Heaven Benchmark score was on par with dual 980's =)
Titan x never runs at baseclock so you're probably closer to a 25% overclock over the core clock it normally averages. My titan x boosts to 1162mhz out of the box and I expect all of them are pretty close to that.
Mine boosts to 1189 on it's own. So it's still over a 30% increase over the boost. I put a waterblock on it though so I wouldn't recommend running it at these speeds on the stock cooler.

Daf-Chan I only care about how it performs, not how it looks. My PC has some giant coolers with red led that I'd love to turn them off, but there is no way unless I break them lights. The Titan X is great though. Have been playing everything maxed out at 4k perfectly. I ran Arkham Knight at 4k with zero problems since day one when 95% of the PC community had trouble.

+halelus07 Ha, he will when he runs 4k and the GTX 690 chockes with its lower performance per core and only 2gb buffer. a GTX 690 is equal or falls short of a single 780ti performance, at 4k a Titan X has a hard time with that as its just able to get mid 30fps GTA 5 at cazy settings.
How is it pointless, Give me a good example of why its pointless. The GTX 690 is utter crap at anything more then 1080p on demanding games or any games that have higher res textures. Something that might be pointless to you doesn't mean its pointless to others. I certianly wont buy a Titan X, but its far from pointless for 4k, I mean you could always go for the 980ti, but again, video rendering will do far better on the Titan X.

Titan x is not dual core. It is single and that is why you can have four way sli with it.
