They actually confirmed in one of the episodes that is a hamster skull in Elmyra's hair. She was completely left out of the reboot, kind of hard to imagine getting away with her character these days.
This was one of the best cartoons to come out in the past 40 years. Adults can enjoy it just as much as the kids. I just wish they would re-release the Halloween special either digitally or on DVD. I never got to see it all the way through, and I'd rather not pay $50 for the VHS tape on ebay.

I guess I was fortunate to have been too young to get exposed to the less-than-wholesome fandom-induced aspects of Babs Bunny and Fifi LaFume during that period in time.

I just enjoyed the show for what it was at the time, and even my mom loved Baby Plucky whenever he popped up.
My favorite characters from the show would be Buster, Babs, Plucky, and Fifi.

I enjoyed this as a kid, and had a couple of the video games and the album on cassette. I even "preserved" a tape recording to mp3 for fellow "archivists" in the fandom that circulated in the mid 90s, so if you run across 128kb files that have a slight hiss that CDs don't have, it might've been originally from me.
Minor correction: Shirley "The Loon" McLoon isn't a duck, she's supposed to be... a loon. In the literal taxonomical sense. A loon is a type of water fowl similar to a large duck, but smaller than geese.
I was a part of the early internet fandom, and it was my gateway to becoming a furry. I was part of an internet email list that sent out fanfic and art collected monthly, long before I had access to the World Wide Web.
And I've left the TTA fandom far far behind. You know the spicy artwork you can't show? At least a lot of that kind of thing had kinda aged them up in adult proportioned bodies. A growing percentage of the mature-situations TTA fandom, when asked the question, "aren't they supposed to be children?" would actually embrace that aspect.
Yeah, Fandom, it was nice knowing you, but bye bye, don't stay in touch.

I really love this series, wish it(and the movie and specials) would get a blu ray release.

Buster and Babs Bunny (no relation!) would be some of my favorite characters from the show, especially since my sister and I used to play with the plushies! I didn't have the talking ones, though. Bugs Bunny is the best Looney Tune. He's clever and funny. One of my favorite episodes would have to be "Fields of Honey," where Babs finally finds her mentor (spoiler!) Apparently, this was also a segue into Animaniacs, or one of them, at least, the other being "Two Tone Town," which is another great episode.
I always wanted the plushies as a kid, and I'm pretty sure I have a video on 'Animaniacs' in the works...
Tiny Toon Adventures is one of the staples of the early 90's, and the show that started a revolution in animated series created by Steven Spielberg. The Looniversity reboot lacks the spirit of the original, as for one thing, Babs and Buster Bunny, who were an unrelated couple in the original series (hence the "No relation!" running gag), are now twin siblings. Making them twins is like if Disney suddenly made Mickey and Minnie Mouse twins; it just doesn't work.
(Also, I gotta agree with you; Fifi is Tiny Toons' most overrated character, and part of the reason why I feel that was is because her fans seem to like her for less than wholesome reasons.)
They made Buster and Babs... SIBLINGS?!?!?!?! WTH? That is Hollywood for ya! Thank you for the info, I am going to continue to avoid Looniversity, I really don't like reboots anyway. But I haven't heard a single good thing about it.
It's another Hollywood cash grab. Why cant they take chances on new things?

@@MGLabs Trust me, while Looniversity is far from the worst reboot I've ever seen (there are definitely much crappier ones such as Teen Titans Go, The Powerpuff Girls (2016), and Thomas and Friends: All Engines Go), it's also far from the best. In addition to making Babs and Buster twins, Looniversity lacks the variety of the original series (most episodes take place in ACME Loo, and every episode is a full 22-minute one instead of alternating between it and three seven-minute shorts focusing on different characters), and it also lacks the gag credits and end tags of the original series.

@@MGLabs Because Out of Odor infamously affects my mind due to how far too overly infamous Elmyra treats Fifi in the segment, such as drenching her in tomato juice to get rid of her smell (which happens in the middle) and capturing her for a pet (which happens in the end).

@@MGLabs No it's in English. In the US it only got a cassette release and the CD was pressed in Japan only! Which makes it even harder to find! I got my copy from Ebay. Don't ask me what I paid for it LOL! Far from cheap!
