I think you are supposed to loosen the bottom bracket nut and fit the sensor between the body and the nut. It is very tight and loosens clockwise. There are instructions on Park tools site. The mid motor seems to have torque sensing emulation.
I'm able to choose the level of pedal assist on the mid drive that I own, On certain brands of hub drives you can control the level of pedal assist, it differs brand to brand.

@@buffalomind6838 Yeah I think the hub drives that allow for pedal assist control typically have an lcd screen that is about 3x2 inches. Any of the smaller displays that are 1.5x1.5 inches typically only show the battery level.
Where can I purchase a PAS for my 1000W crystalite motor? I use a Cycle Analyst v2 (which I'm told needs to be upgraded to v3) and a BMC 48VDC. Bike is a Crosstown foldable Montague.
