The little Vaseline jar surprised me. I actually thought it was a Pond's jar. You said something about the rain....We've had severe thunder and lightning rain storms for the past 2 weeks. Nice figurine, and really nice bottles. Mick asked about a bottle he found and I agree that it is most likely a perfume bottle. I am leaving the comment section and hope I can watch you live tomorrow.
From what I could find on the newspaper: the article on j & j shaw ltd showed that the business stopped trading by 1983 but there were discrepancies on when it was founded but likely the 1890’s. For the piece about Gee’s I found something about a bomb outside it during ww2. There was a piece on someone named Gibb becoming a wicket keeper so if I found the right one then that dates around 1938 just like you guessed🎉 It was so hard to find anything else with what little was readable on the paper!
you two are so nice i like to watch your videos and Alex and Gail and another mother and daughter i get these to mothers and daughters mixed up because the daughters looks so much alike to me keep trying to find some more goodies Josephine in the U.S.A
Nice work both of you! I love to see you and Mick joking around! You always put a smile on my face. I love your adventures together. Have a wonderful weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Pouring rain as I am watching this. I recognized the Thomas heel on the child’s shoe. When my son was a toddler he wore shoes with that heel. They were supposed to help his wonky feet.
LOL, my Mother loved bottles with colored water sitting in the window sill. Haven't thought about that for ages. Happy 💐 Mother's Day to all in the U.S.A.
Sarah, I've really missed watching you and Mick, sick for two weeks and fell way behind. Now I'm trying to catch up with all your new adventures including your garden journey ! Might take me awhile but I'll get there 😊 Not the best lark but a few nice goodies to craft with. Glad to be back, Love and hugs 🥰🥰 xx
Great lark again Mick and Sarah. Just an FYI for the next time you're there - there's been plenty of digging in the far corner in the trees. Hope all's good with the two of you 👍
The dogs head was definitely a little piggy head Sarah. The stand was lovely with the glass dish sat on top. It would have been great for a sweet dish. I'm presuming you left that behind. Your being very good and I'm proud of you, just taking the little finds and that perfect stake for your allotment. Mick found a lovely perfume bottle. Those are very sweet and the lead old lady you found was very unusual. Its shame you couldn't find her seat or stool she was once sat on. That's the way of things though, isn't it. Probably why it was thrown away in the first place...or was it. See you next time, probably on your allotment. 😁 xx

I’m guessing perfume bottle
Mick, that looks like a men’s hair tonic bottle. Shake it out on your hand and rub into hair.
I wonder if a Calpol syringe would be any good for any No Spill ink well cleaning?...maybe one of your "Little`uns" Mums has a spare?.
❤❤❤
Hi Sarah, would that little tray with the four indents be for egg cups?
I think so!
