I went up 30Oct last year, solo. Rode up all the way from SG to Chiang Mai. Took me 5 days. Rode in MHS area for 4 days. Great fun! Took 5 days to get home. I didn't take the train. Thanks a lot for sharing. My trusty steed: DR650.
Great informative content with nice music. I like the way you placed the subtitle, can read while enjoying the video (That's my preference). Hope to see more ride videos soon. Stay safe always. 🙏
Hi, just stumbled upon to your videos since episode one, and already watch all of this adventure into this episode, enjoying much your solo adventure, safe ride, sunny days and cool breeze for your remaining journey. Cheers from Indonesia
I’m Thai, my family is from a village in Petchabun, a place no one knows outside of our province. I was born and grew up in Sweden but man, does this make me homesick for Thailand, my town and just….the sabai life. Like you said, here is safer and more organised, but I smile less unless I’m riding my bike or playing with the kids or flying my glider. I’ll have to get back soon, I miss it very much. Thank you for these videos my friend, your respect towards Thailand and the people honours you and your family.
Subscribed! A rider myself too, but just afraid to go long distance as you do. Went for a downgrade but your videos are making me regret my past decisions… Cck/Yewtee is similar indeed 😂
Actually, there are many local places to stop by like waterfalls along the way. The joy of riding motocycle is freedom. Love your choices of music in each video. Superb !!!
hi Ben, good vids, looking fwd to see the rest of your journey.. remind me the 19 days i lepak at thai back in the old days, ahhh the old memories.... dah subs!
@@sornglor555 mine was few yrs ago way before MCO, i follow mickey stotch channel and it seems many has changed but its still enjoyable none the less. quick...upload new episode pls hahahah
Safe travel and welcome to Thailand. I really like your VDO. The song that you pick up is very beautiful. I live in Bangkok, if you need some help please let me know. 😄
I live in Hua Hin. Furthest I've ridden is to Bangkok. 555. I scared. Got rid of my 650 now I ride a Monkey. I learned to ride after moving to Thailand in my late 40s.
hi ben, really enjoyed the chill videos of your trip. Just a question, for long road trips like this, would it be recommended to pack extra fuel for the vehicle if there is long distance between petrol stations? And how would you deal with toilet breaks as well when there is not many toilets around?
Hello, I didn't pack. Petrol stations not difficult to find. Only need to take note for Malaysia highway if your tank is small haha. But in Thailand no need to worry. Toilets are everywhere too. You can just go any cafe to use also 😁
I wanted to learn fast, so decided to take lessons haha. much faster if really want to learn another language (not just for fun). I added where I am learning at in the video description for you 👍🏻😊
Hey Ben, just curious, what petrol do you use over there? Are the ethanol fuels ok to mix with petrol? If you’ve used ethanol fuels, are there are differences in power / efficiency?
นครสวรรค์ อยู่เลยจากจังหวัดที่ผมอยู่ไปนิดเดียวครับ มีโอกาสมาเที่ยวอีกนะครับ
Just finished binge watching your vids! Very calm and relaxing indeed
