    Steaks that thick need to rest a minimal of five minutes with a piece of aluminum foil lightly laid on top of them in the resting process.

    i don't want to sound like a know it all but 140 degrees isn't rare thats round a medium and 165 degrees isn't medium its well done and by that time the steak is ruined

    Rare 140? Medium 165? Sorry man. Any real Chef knows Rare=120, Med Rare 130, Medium 140, Medium Well 150 and Well done 160. You are telling people a perfect medium is 165?!?!?! Someone just ruined their night. Get your facts straight before you go on you tube acting like a hot shot.
