    and then i decided to go Lipa Batangas.
    and met driver who speaks Korean. also met lots of kind people~

      Yeah by watching korean drama with english subtitles and reading English to Korean translation found in google is the easiest way of learning Korean language.Even in YT there's a lot of content teaching basic korean😊

      @@mr.dreamboy8259 From what I've seen, you need more than basic for that. It's very competitive since you're up against all countries in Asia including India for a position. This is for factory workers and other industrial jobs btw. I'd think, you'd have an easier time getting there as an ESL teacher.

      So true. I've watched some vlogs of Filipinos traveling to Korea and they faced racism during their stay. A huge discrepancy if you would compare it on how Filipinos treat their guests.

      Probably because he's asian too.. Normally the Westerners wouldn't choose this route and transportation so the locals are happy to help and they feel the humbleness of Seungha..

It's usually girls who're into Korean drama. Maybe a gay guy too. Finding a straight guy that studied that for that kind of reason is very rare and almost unheard of.

    At 07:01 the driver asked “Anong lahi ka?”. He then repeated “Ikaw, anong lahi?”
    The driver was actually asking your race/nationality. He probably did not want to offend you by assuming your nationality so he asked.

      @@carpediem5343 maybe because we can only see the driver's eyes, but actually he is smiling, also that aggresive tone are common in that area(batangueno accent).

    hallo! the bread that you bought is actually a "rice cake" called "nilupak." it's made from cassava (kamoteng kahoy), a root crop similar to sweet potato (kamote). cheers!

      nilupak directly translates as pound(ed)/mashed. normally its cassava. so if you translate Nilupak to English it's a a Mashed Cassava. Nilupak isn't categorised as bread either!

    Seungha really glad that you're done with your diving lessons. As I said you're now ready to go to Cebu and Palawan for an urforgetable diving experience here in the Philippines. Neway everytime you eat at Mang Inasal you should ask for their Chicken Oil and mix it in your rice and it will give a much better dining experience. AND PLEASE just remember to be very careful when traveling. It's good that so far the people you meet are very to you. But remember everywere you go even Europe or Asia there Re people who will take advantage of your kindness. Lastly I really admire you being so adventurous. Always keep safe and healthy. Cheers. Oh by the way Bonchon is an American franchise which is supposed to be Korean.

    Subscribed! "Ala eh" is a filler, like "umm..." in English. I think Korean equivalent would be something like "어…" or "음…". EDIT: By the way, I'm also from Batangas, from a town called "Bauan" near Anilao, Mabini. :)

    Hello! I'm new here, when you asked about the nilupak , it is kamoteng kahoy it is a rootcrops ,after it peeled off then boiled till cooked and mashed it ,.haha when you visit Cavite province they called it Balinghoy .stay safe Filipino Boo . Thanks for sharing your vlogs .

    Your surname is bu/boo as in that rare korean surname?! woah!
    the jeepney driver's korean is impressive! when i heard the jeepney driver say "오십", it sounded like "어십". the jeepney driver's tagalog accent is still strong in his korean. i then realized that tagalog "o" sounds closer to "어" than to "오". i also remembered how i had difficulty making "어" and "오" as different sounding as possible. i really had to exaggerately round my mouth just to pronounce 오.
    when you pronounced "ala eh", there's no glottal stop (the sound that you produce when you say "uh oh") in between "ala" and "eh" and it sounds like "alayeh". i also salute you for trying to learn our language and way of living!
    it fascinates me how our native tongues/accents still reflect in the language that we're learning and we're free to decide on retaining our accent or adopt the pronunciation rules of the language that we're learning. nonetheless, we are still understood by other people.

    I watched other foreign vlogger who has gone to batangas and complained about how expensive the hotels in the city. It is not a tourist friendly city. They must have hotels and microtels that is cheaper for backpackers to boost tourism.

    Marami parin talaga mga mababait at honest na tricycle driver. Sa Tagaytay nako, makailang beses na namin naexperience, pag alam nila na dika tiga roon, hanggat kayang taasan, tataasan nila ang singil. Pero meron parin naman mga nakakatuwa na tama ang singil.

    wow!!! Kuya Driver is amazing!!! BTW, the one you ate is LINUPAK. It's a delicacy in the country made out from a certain root crop we call camote. It's like taro and it's sweet potato in English. Take care always :)

      Hi! I think for Nilupak we mainly use CASSAVA (kamoteng kahoy) and not the sweet potato. Or maybe other provinces use different ingredients.

    The word Allah eh is derived from two words Allah the name of God in arabic and eh is an impression since early filipino was Muslim they still pass down that expression to the new generation it is similar to oh my god or my god in english or by George in british but that expression is only express by Batangenyo
