Hello I'm seungha from Korea.
I got back from Isabela because of sickness and my scar is getting better.
I went to Mt.Pinatubo with Kristy pata and she helped me a lot.

I was there when it erupted. It was an overcast afternoon, I was working at the U.S.Subic Naval Base in Olongapo City. We all went outside to observe the sky changing into deep gray. We are all excited then suddenly it was raining mud. So we got our umbrellas out, but the mud is so heavy for the umbrella. Then we went into the car. It suddenly turned into night time and headlines were on, but the windshield wiper can't move the mud. All cars were covered with mud. I've never seen a 4pm turned into total darkness. Then the next few days were full of earthquakes, swaying back & forth and moving up and down like a basketball. Then most of the U.S SUBIC NAVY
BLDG COLLAPSED DUE TO HEAVY MUD AND EARTHQUAKES. THE ROADS WERE RAISED TO ABOUT A FOOT OR SO. SI THERE'S NO MORE SIDEWALKS, NO MORE STREETS. HORRIBLE. NIGHTMARE. A STORY T THAT I COULD PASS ON TO MY GENERATIONS HOPING THEY NEVER EXPERIENCED IT. Btw go and explore the new Subic Bay while ur there? you'll like it. By the way Pinatubo affected the WHOLE WORLD'S global condition.

I'm so amazed to know that Filipino Boo studied in Seoul National University. I'm like "Wow, he's so smart" It's like knowing that a person studied in UP here in the Philippines.
He was also a teacher. And aircraft or aerospace engineering grad i think.

I was there in the Philippines when Mount Pinatubo erupted. From Manila the cloud was like a Nuclear Explosion. A mushroom cloud. It created it's own storm and covered entire Luzon with ashes and debris. That was one my memorable experienced in the Philippines and the 1989 Major Earthquake that destroyed Baguio and Cabanatuan City. Take Care Boo!
