I have lived in Lipa City for 3 years. As an expat, I love it here. Not as crazy as Manila. Cheap rent, friendly people, and close to the airport, the port of Batangas, AND close to the BI to get your visa extensions done. It has everything that you need here. Great and convenient bus service, tuk tuks, jeepneys, and vans that have air conditioning. And very few expats here. If you want a bigger city than the Provence but smaller than Manila on Luzon, it's hard to beat. And the kids aren't begging, they are selling flowers for your car. 20 pesos for one. I usually buy 5.
Lipa Batangas Famous for Barako Coffee ☕ History. Barako coffee was introduced to the Philippines in the 1740s by Spanish friars. It was originally planted in the lowlands of Lipa, Batangas. From there it spread to other areas in the province, and Batangas became known for its coffee locally.

Intriguing question, gonna try to be succinct. (I failed!). My opinions only as a devout Catholic. I think it is helpful for viewers of a travel & lifestyle vlog to see the inside of area churches. In the Philippines, the churches are usually among the oldest, most historic buildings in a town , or the site anyways, as the church may have undergone reconstructions thru the centuries. For the non-religious, it may be interesting architecturally, historically or artistically. I am thankful for any views of Christian art & architecture, & I also have personal religious devotion to some icons, like in this cathedral there was a replica of the statue of the “Black Nazarene”. The original is in…oh I forget but in Manila area. Binondo? Lotsa devotees to that devotion. I asked M to film the statue but in that church, they had signs not allowing photography. I don’t know if that’s a spiritual choice of that Bishop or an art preservation choice, as I know photography can be damaging to artworks. [We call it a devotion, different representations of Our Lord Jesus like Sacred Heart of Jesus or Black Nazarene or Senor Santo Nino (which is essentially devotion to contemplation of Jesus’ infancy & childhood). In Philippines, I think it is difficult to enter a church when there isn’t something going on funerals, weddings, baptisms, Masses in general . Catholic Churches in my country used to be open to anyone & unlocked 24-7, in my lifetime that ended, to my sadness. I understand that you meant specifically filming though, but to me, the benefits of respectful presentation outweigh any potential negatives. M. has been respectful, he’s shown many shrines & churches. Usually pretty brief, too brief for me! lol but I get it. He never has walked up onto altar area, for example. And I may not love but also don’t mind much being photographed or filmed if I’m praying in a church or shrine, as M said, many Catholic Churches livestream Masses & Perpetual Adoration & I think we’re aware that there is no guaranteed privacy as a part of our Tradition.💒🛐😌🕊️

Why just mentioned Vilma? She didn't hold the position for years now. And Lipa is a City. Walang dagat sa amin. Wala masyadong darayuhin. Saka bundok. At maraming bahayan. At techno park. Education at health. Kasi nararamdaman namin yung tax namin kahit papano. 😅

It is reported to be a low cost of living as well. - - - Peace and quiet appears - impossible ? - - - Sad not to see 'anything' in Lipa worth looking at - a huge disappointment !!! --- Perhaps away from the city center maybe was better ? - - - Tagaytay would have been much more to my liking --🤔 but you skipped it ?!? 👎

P.s. no privacy expectations in our Tradition, now I recalled- except for re: sacrament of confession.
Lol !!! You ask if you can count the pretty girls but I didn't see any in your video. 🤣🤣🤣

Why just mentioned Vilma? She didn't hold the position for years now. And Lipa is a City. Walang dagat sa amin. Wala masyadong darayuhin.
Saka bundok. At maraming bahayan. At techno park. Education at health.
Kasi nararamdaman namin yung tax namin kahit papano. 😅
Sir you should have added soy sauce and calamansi on your lomi thats why you did not enjoyed eating eat, the girls did not teach you how to eat it properly
Lipa just looks super chaotic and extremely noisy ! -- Not very 'comfortable' (looking) for an - 'old fart' - like me ? -- I have heard that @ 1000 ft above sea level it is cooler. 👎
