Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Part 9 - Yiga Clan Hideout Walkthrough

- In this video we go over part 9 for Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Yiga Clan Hideout walkthrough. Our mission is to get the Thunder Helm from the Yiga Clan Hideout. We travel from Gerudo Town to Karusa Valley to retrieve the stolen heirloom for Princess Riju. After sneaking by a group of blade masters guarding the hideout, we are met face-to-face with Master Kohga - the leader of the clan. A battle ensues and after a swift win, Link retrieves the cherished heirloom. This is our ticket to proving ourselves to the Gerudo princess who then allows us to aid her in calming the divine beast, Vah Naboris! Join me and I'll join you in the quest of Zelda: Breath of Wild!

Thank you! Another tip - you can go back into the hideout after you kill the boss. The soldiers are gone and the treasures are still there
I have a deep rooted fear of stealth in zelda games ever since playing spirit tracks when I was nine, luckily my paranoia meant that I never got caught... but when you whistled in the hideout I freaked out 😅

I died at the end where the metal door is because i whistled and the two stupid guards heard me

thanks for your videos!!! As a beginner gamer, I enjoy these puzzles but some are hard or scary for me. Going into that hideout made me nervous lol
I killed one of the guards when I got caught, took his sword, and teleported out. Free strong weapon
I did the same bruh but then immediately got killed
What weapon did you use to kill him? Tried it once and got killed with 1 strike lmao

if you keep spanking the guard with a flame or electric weapon, you can kill him before he call for help
Most irritating thing in botw was this. I literally tried around 150 times to get past those frickin Yiga with hawk eyes, oh and this was me with 5 hearts. Then the next time I went there I had 15 hearts that's how much I had trouble with hideout
I wenr there only while I had 14... And I still had tons of trouble
bomb arrows with the duplex bow can help (or any bow that releases more than one arrow at a time)
I hit them with stasis and an ancient arrow. I didn't even want to mess with them.

I got BOTW and a switch at the end of 2020 because I was so overwhelmed working in healthcare in COVID ICU. I didn’t get a chance to play it much because of work, but when I did I would mostly just scavenge for food and cook because I haven’t ever really played video games. But COVID finally infected me at work at the beginning of this year and being isolated for a month, I decided to finally give the game a try and I have gotten really far! This is my first boss I’m going to challenge and your video is AWESOME! I feel like I’m cheating when I’m watching walk-throughs like this but since it’s my first time learning this kind of game, and it’s my first boss or beast I’m actually looking up. I’ve already gotten caught and killed by the sword masters so now, in my desperate attempts to get to the divine beast, I’m here at your page! Thank you for the tips and tricks! God Bless!
The Yiga boss was at least easy to understand, and I didn't spend 10 minutes figuring out how to damage him like I did on every Ganon lol.

So far the lonely gave me the most problems
The Ganon boss after this was so confusing. I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to "harness the lightning," and never knew to just use magnesis to push the rods at him. I felt so dumb afterward.
I went back inside after I killed him, well.... after he killed himself, and looted the place without having to worry about getting caught. The gems that were out in the open respawn and the arrows in the jars do, too. I come back occasionally just to grab them.
So I watched the video once all the way through...thought “hey, I can do this...not too bad...”. Then I fell off the top of one of the pillars right in front of a Master Sword guy....dead.....lol. Tried again....made it a little further but when I went to paraglide into the last room with the gold rupees....yep you guessed it...he caught me and .....well not dead I transported my chicken butt outta there....lol
3 time was the charm and this time I watched your video...paused copied exactly....then the next step and so on....I did it!!! Thank you for the video and keep up the good work. (I know I am late to the party but I am loving the game just the same)

Be aware that the sneak strike only kills them if your weapon is strong enough. Sneakstrike does 8x the amount of damage of your weapon. So whatever damage your weapon has multiply that by 8 to see if it’ll reach 600 to kill them.

I had gone to the hideout originally about a month ago, but I kept dying when I tried to fight the Yiga Clan. Today I came back, really needing to get this part down since I defeated the other Divine Beasts, and when the Gerudo woman who had been imprisoned said “if only there was a way you could distract them”, I knew that was a clue but it I still didn’t know what it meant! So I fought the first set of patrollers and Yiga Clan members and beat them, but broke like 3 weapons in the process. Then it occurred to me that I should look up a walkthrough like I did with almost everything else, and thank GOD. I could not keep fighting them. And fighting the boss was so simple! Thank you for showing and explaining things so clearly!
I just started this game two weeks ago and taking my time and it’s seriously friggin amazing
If you don’t want to fight the clan going in to figure out which drape is the entrance... just run fast and away from the clan and they will quit following, saves your arrows etc

Fun humor in this video. Another good one. Also, I didn't know about the mighty banana trick with the Yiga on my first walk through (I was just super sneaky). Good thing to point out!
If you talked to the Gerudo "vai" they captured, she tells you the master swordsmen like the mighty bananas.
Wow!!! Just wow! Thank you! Literally beat it in 2 tries! The first time, I hit “A” and not “Y” when I snuck up on the guard to try the sneak attack. Doors closed, whistle, dead🤣🤣
Same thing happen to me like 3 times 🤣
So, I do the sneak attack and the guy just turns around and kills me. Is there something more than just sneaking up and hitting Y? Do I need a special weapon or some type of upgrade to do a “sneak attack?”

I love that scripted link pushes the ball over Kogha instead of another player action. Gives the silent protagonist some personality.
Duplication glitch
Nintendo:we will not allow you to duplicate or buy the same weapons so forget it.
Glitchers:give me a shock arrow, 3100 rupees, more than 5 multi bows! Take it or leave it.
Nintendo:ah flip! We gotta patch botw 2 up so much so that no one can glitch our game😡

This section made me put down the game forever. I have 3 of the Devine beasts and THIS is what got me to go I'm done I'm back and trying again but it's so frustrating even dropping some of the bananas down from the platforms I just keep messing up

The other day I did my 100th shrine &, shrine quest eventide island do not forget to drop a sword &shield near island then step on eventide island then go pick up your sword &shield then clean island of all monsters get the orbs put in the holes to shrine comes up
