Today's video is a special one! I'm unboxing the new 2021 iPad 9th generation along with an apple pencil and some accessories! I have been watching iPad unboxing videos for such a long time, and now when apple launched the new 9th generation iPad I finally decided to take the plunge and get it as well as the apple pencil 1. This is the unboxing and also my first impression after using it for two days.

Yes omg totally! I relate to this so much!! I wanted an iPad for ages and when this was released I was so scared to get it because it's a big purchase but I'm so happy I did! A lot of the tech reviewers just buy everything and have the money for that, and this is like the puny budget iPad for them but I love it heh

Right?! When I saw the presentation from Apple I was like “this is the one”. I would love the iPad Air with all of it’s features, but now this iPad has a lot of similar features for just over half the price, definitely a great piece of tech!

If someone wants to buy in india then go for air4..cz in festive sale he/she can get it by 38900 while 9th gen is still for 29048 after students id discount...bt with a very tight budget you can go for ipad 9..this is best at this price

Agree with everything you saif , awesome unboxing , cant stand those loud reviewers when they call it the “budget ipad” and they nitpick everything , at the end of the day most people use an ipad for streaming, youtube and classwork, and its perfect for this

I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. Definitely not disappointed but just a heads up to the ones expecting a brighter cream of yellow.
as someone thinking about picking up the iPad 9, i really appreciate this video! there's sadly not a lot of content for this model and i totally agree with you - the iPad 9 is more than capable enough at handling the tasks that most users need it for. probably apple's marketing at work which leads most people to believe they need the higher end iPad air/mini/pro. nonetheless enjoyed this video

And yeah, both apple’s marketing (which I guess is understandable, they are a company after all) and general “I want the best, most expensive, fanciest thing there is” thoughts. The iPad 9 is amazing for it’s price though, and I wish more people did that research and realised that it’s in no way necessary to have the more expensive versions for most people! I think the main reason is the design and bigger screens . Like for many people ikinda like the newer designs more but this iPad is also great and comes with a really good price . However for like editing notes and screen quality u can see why people would go for the higher model . Although i do think the iPad Air is kinda overhyped

Congrats on the new iPad! I haven’t had an iPad since I was a kid and have been wanting a Mac or iPad for school but couldn’t quite afford it. As an early Christmas present I was able to get the iPad 9th gen a few days ago and I am so frickin happy with it. I. Am. In. Love. I highly recommend it and love seeing others appreciating it. It resembles the older models on the outside so I don’t feel it gets as much attention as it deserves for the price. I feel like an iPad kid. I’ve been using it more than my phone and idk what id do without it bc it’s been so convenient for me. It feels almost as necessary as my phone if not more. All this time, I’ve been missing out.

I wish it for Christmas, but the 8th gen one, I really like it and wanting it for studying, I would find it more easy:D

I have the 3rd gen ipad pro 12.9 because I wanted the biggest and shiniest , but if the 7th gen had been as capable as the 9th, I would have had chosen it hands down! Keep up the great work!

When my mom told me she would get me a iPad the first one that caught my attention was the Gen9. I don’t know if it was because of the home button, the wonderful size, or the fact that I just really wanted an iPad but no matter the reason the getting the Gen9 was one of the best decisions I have made.

I upgraded from the iPad 2 to the 8th gen!! Best upgrade ever and even though the 8th Gen isn't as comparable to the Air 4 as the 9th i'm so glad I chose my iPad over the expensive air. You'll love your decision ❤️

I got the exact same iPad (in silver but the rest is identical) with the exact same case but in purple today🤩 Absolutely love it, i had the 6th generation with the apple pencil before so for me just the size changed. It‘s so funny that we both bought the same ipad + case! Love your video especially the subtitles

As I wrote in the video I definitely think a matte screen protector would help since glass is really slippery, but I’ve heard that most of them wear down pretty quick, are quite expensive, kind of blurs the screen etc, so I wanted to try to get used to writing on the glass before I tried it to see if I really felt it necessary! If you have any questions let me know!🥰
Don’t get paper like because it wears out your Apple Pencil nib faster and lowers the quality of the display

Thinking of getting 1 for my daughter on her 6th bday, preparing her to use it for homeschooling thru zoom.
That’s great! I think it’s perfect for zoom, especially with centerstage. If she will need to type I recommend an external keyboard as well, they’re available pretty cheap on sites such as amazon etc. It really makes a world’s difference!!

This was such a nice video! I'm thinking about getting this for college and I was just wondering what you thought of the storage situation? Would I need the 256gb if I'm only using it for notes and some light creative work?
No, I don't think the 256gb would be necessary for just that! If you're planning to have a lot of big files such as movies and videos on it, 256 is worth considering. For just notes and stuff 64 is fine!
@@EliMayyt I didn’t even know you could take notes on the iPad how did u do that? Lol. I was going to get it for school too because I figured an iPad is probably lighter and easier to carry to school then most laptops and I wanted to use it to write papers while I’m on campus lol. (I’m a commuter lol)
@@K26872 I love taking notes on my iPad!! If you will be typing a lot I wouldn't super recommend the iPad. It's better with a bluetooth keyboard, but it's still pretty tiring to type on compared to a computer!
@@EliMayyt I was planning on using a keyboard and just using my iPad to work on any homework between classes. I guess I would probably be typing a decent amount. Are the keyboards tricky to use?

I've heard the paper like screen protector really helps with handwriting! I can't wait to get one
It helps a bit indeed, but tbh I wouldn’t really recommend it. I got 5 different brands of matte screen protectors to try out and review for a video. So far I’ve only tried paperlike but I don’t think the friction aspect is worth the money, the trouble and the bad screen quality that comes with it. I haven’t tried any other brands yet, but I would suggest trying the little rubber pen nibs first!

A good matte screen protector will work better and be more affordable than paper like. I tried paper like and switched back. The coaying/film is more sand papery, it wears down the pencil nib really fast, especially if you do a lot of notes + art.

@@EliMayyt yeah, I recommend Tech Armors Matte screen protector. It works really well and provides the same anti glare/matte drawing experience without destroying your nibs. That's my main one but I know there are some others out that work nicely too. Hope this helps :)

I have the iPad pro (2015) for 6 yearsss, and it's been kicking it for a while. I think it's time to upgrade to the 2021 model w/ the new apple pencil, and I can't wait. It was a good little ipad though, I admit!!!! I hope you enjoy your ipad:O
Ooh 6 years is a pretty long time for a device!! But it was definitely a good iPad, and the upgrades are even better! My macbook is from 2016 and works great, but computers usually last longer, phones and iPads usually last a bit shorter!

I've always had to be really careful with it when I was younger, but honestly it's the software that's just too old by now😂Otherwise it would be totally fine!
@@EliMayyt wow, I honestly even thought that was the new ipad 9 when the video started 😂 it wasn’t until i got a close look at the larger bezels that i realized it was the old ipad.
@@AA-rr9ly I always had a folio case on it and since it worked so well with my old iPad that's what I decided on my new iPad too!
