Thanks Mike! I think critiquing your own work is the only way you can really improve so I do it on every project. Going forward I think I’ll do it in every TH-cam vid as well. Really appreciate you taking the time to watch!!
Thank you man! I’d never tried it before and after doing it , I def wanna do it more! Agreed though I think it works super well for food stuff. Appreciate you big time!
Looks great! How long were you rolling for with talent? Would be curious your shot structure, did you do all wides then go in? Did you have a b cam for details! Keep up the great work man
Aye thanks Blake ! We had very little time with the talent (only about 1hr) so once they got there we basically just hosed down the scene and got every shot we could think of. In designing the lighting for this I knew we wouldn’t really have time to change anything between wides and close ups so I lit with flexibility in mind. We did the wides first and then moved in for the tights but could have done them in any order since we didn’t move anything in between. Only one cam on this c300mkiii with some CNE primes. Really appreciate you watching man! Hope your doing well!
awesome video as always! quick question, do you own or rent lighting gear? i’m sure you own some of it but more of the big stuff like the 1200d, 5ft modifiers etc. is my question
Thanks my dude! So actually for this job none of this was mine. Because we needed large stands (mombo combos) and speed rail that wouldn’t fit in our cars we just rented everything from a local rental house and had them drop it off and pick it up from location. I do own a lighting package but only rent it out when it makes sense for the job. Hope that answers your question! Appreciate you!!
I just do it on a milanote board. I upload the still and then double click on the photo and then click the draw button and use macs built in screen record to record it. Hope that helps! Appreciate you watching man!
Hidden gem. I consider myself from now on as an OG when you blow up.
Glad you liked it! haha you are def an OG, maybe one day I’ll blow up
I like how you reviewed your own project at the end
