Great white is an amazing band. Last I heard Jack Russell the singer, still sounded amazing, and Mark Kendall (lead guitar) just has a soulfulness and epic tone to his playing; love all of his solos. The drummer always plays in the pocket and the bass player shines more often than not. Someone else said House of Broken Love and I totally agree.. bluesy guitar solos for days. Great track.
The 'Hair Metal' bands from the 80's tend to get a bad rap, but several of them put out some amazing music. They just got lumped in with the lower quality bands put together by the record companies. The 80's was also the era of the 'Rock Ballad' like this one. Some of these will certainly give you the stank face.
Save Your Love is one of those hidden gems from that era, if you have that in your playlist you know your stuff! Beautiful song. React to Dokken, Alone Again from their Live Beast from the East album. Thats a classic. There are loads of songs like this from the 80s, forget modern music, the 80s is where you should be concentrating on.

The story of Great White is long and wonderful and terrible and now ended with the passing of Jack Russell. He had a horrific thing happen to him as well as a lot of other people, but somehow he was forced to carry the soul burden and as a fan from the beginning, I'm glad he's gone so the pain (for everyone) can start to end. RIP Station souls. RIP Russell. Everybody RIP.
