@@Southernladyasmr thanks, hope you enjoy your 4th as well. Btw, I made your cottage cheese pancakes for dinner last night and we loved them!! I served them with marinara sauce and they were delicious. I have some batter left so I’ll make the rest for lunch. I added some fresh basil and some oregano to the batter. so we’ll see how that tastes

Hi Lindy. Love seeing this snapshot of American history and how everyone lived over the eras.
Being a US expat I always miss the celebrations but that doesn’t lessen my patriotism.

July 4th was declared a federal holiday by Congress in 1941.
The second president, John Adams, would have approved of our modern celebrations! His words, “I believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival," he wrote his wife, Abigail. "It ought to be celebrated by pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other..."

What was the name of that guys you tube channel??? Because if I don’t find a house soon I am putting pink appliances in my kitchen I priced them out new replicas I think the price for 4 piece appliances was like $17,000.00. Do I need smelling salts for you to get you off the floor after you saw the price lol😂🤣😂 I was like there’s gotta be another way. Somebody has to have them still they last forever. My friend was like you’re going pay that much money for appliances and I actually was because I love them so much but if I can go another way, I will since you said he has quite a bit of inventory so whenever you get a chance can you please let me know. I did hear to check with a autobody shop that they paint appliances the outsides of them, so that’s safe, but I don’t know if I would do that or not. I hope you are having a great day.
