Ahhh!! I get goosebumps watching this!! But this is honestly one of those performances that you HAVE to see live. The energy, the lights, the voices….the whole product of this number is unreal! Seen this twice and this number is the reason I decided to pay to see it a second time.
Seeing this performance in particular live was amazing. This and Roxanne stole the show. The movie has always been a favorite of mine so I was worried about the musical but it met expectations, loved it

you ain't joking and the whole show is a masterpiece of lighting. I have never gone home after a play before and looked up who the lighting designer was but I did this time. It's Justin Townsend's work and he won at least a Tony for it and I'm sure he has won plenty of other awards, too. well earned awards. If you have a chance to see this in person, go for it. I saw the N. American traveling tour cast and just.. wow. I'm still walking around on a high from the energy of their performance.
having seen this over 400 times on Broadway with the original cast and the subsequent replacements. This is so exciting to see on a bigger stage with much more added so glad that they did this. Although it is true seeing it live literally takes your breath away every night! Well done.

Was extremely fortunate to see this twice during its world premiere in Boston in the historic Colonial Theater in 2018. Each time, this performance not only earned a rousing standing ovation, but the applause went on for such an extended period, it became obvious that the performers became uncomfortable holding their frozen positions for so long. I have never felt energy in a room like that before or since.
Love how far this show has come since their days in Boston. It never gets old and i love seeing different casts as everyone puts a unique spin on their roles.
Imagine having performed for over an hour and taking only a 20 minute break to come out and perform this BEAST of a number to open act 2! Bravo to theatre talent! Phenomenal. Other worldly. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I saw moulin rouge in cologne yesterday and let me say it was breathtaking. The singers, dancers, acrobats, costumes, lighting, SET DESIGN omfg it was amazing

I've got nothing but ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🙏 And I love to say "Thank You" to Simon and everyone involved in a program like this one and similar competitions around the globe for helping talented people with no money, who don't know any producers and no connection whatsoever in this kind of industry but talent. I discovered the musical "by accident", in July '23 when I was in London for Bruce Springsteen's two concerts. I know London very well, so I was looking for something to do in the afternoon before the show in Hyde Park. I was thunderstruck, literally. I sang, danced, cried, and laughed like I haven't in years. and I'm almost 60 years old, 40 of which I spent traveling the world to see Bruce. I've seen the musicaln at least once a month since then. I live in Milan, get my ticket as soon as I have some time, leave by fly at 10 a.m. and arrive at 12 noon in London, headed to the Piccadilly Theatre for the 2:30 p.m. show and then at 8 p.m. fly back home. and or I will as long as it's on in London. see it, experience it, love it. it's just amazing!!! THE best show of this generation hands down! Much better than Hamilton for sure! This is one of the best musicals of all time and should be up there with the greats! I saw this live and have the soundtrack on repeat at home and never get tired of it. Truly a spectacle and wonder to behold!
love the movie and every time we would see it I would say it needs to be live. just saw it in LA and it was different from the movie but i enjoyed it some lyrics were change but still good...wondered how they were gonna do the tango roxanne with the parallel scenes of them singing, chrisitian singing in the street, and satin going to the duke and they nailed it, want to see again and love that sonyah tayeh is the choreographer love her work since sytycd

When I got to see this I was almost screaming at how cool this show's lighting looked.
Seeing this number in person is so much better because you can FEEL the quaking of the music. Chills the entire time

This was by far my favorite part of the show. It made me feel like I was in a movie.
