GUYS - I am so dumb. The Cloud figure is a knock off and I didn’t realize it because I am a figure noob. A lovely viewer pointed out that it’s missing the official Square Enix logo and little stamp in the corner. That explains the poor quality of some of the accessories. I’m going to see if I can return it and get an authentic one. 😂
I got this for someone as a Xmas gift. I took a look at it and honestly... it's OK-looking. I have the Final Fantasy VII Bring Arts version of the original FF VII Cloud and other figures and they're much better. Then again, I like the original over the remake. Phew, I talked a lot today.
Same, I had the Play Arts Kai as well and aside from Barret and Red, and Jessie as well, I wasn’t a fan of the likenesses. Sold them all off in favor of the Bring Arts, which I love the designs of. Only downside is the ridiculous pricing for what you get.
Don’t worry, you won’t break the figure. The joints are what is known as ratchet joints, basically they have teeth, kinda like a cog from a watch, so whenever you move the joints they just click into the next position, which has its advantages and disadvantages but they mostly work very wel and are pretty sturdy. I used to have these (Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Red, Sephiroth and Jessie) but I sold them in favor of the Bring Arts, which I like more for their size and because they match the original FF7 designs. Also congrats on the rest of your haul, the Yuffie steelbook is gorgeou!

Overall, nice unboxing/haul video, looking forward to that full FF7 review :)

Regarding the "Scratch" on the steelbook for Rebirth - I literally have the same mark in the same exact spot on my steelbook. So i think thats more of a factory defect than it is a scratch! Hope that makes you feel a little better about it.

Their static arts figurines especially the Tifa dresses figurines have more accurate and good looking faces than their other figurines imo.
