It was just an attempt at trying to appear at ease like he wasn’t freaking out about him being the guilty party. However, he forgot that he was supposed to be freaked out about his family’s murders.
Now that we know the verdict and after watching these videos over and over again (because I am so intrigued) now I have to ask who is the young lady that sits two rows behind Alex to his left. Is she s sketch artist, reporter or what? She’s there almost EVERY day. She stares at the back of Alex’s head the whole time sometimes she look away but not often. Just curious.
A very key point from the 911 call - as every true crime junkie knows, 911 calls begin recording right after you key in the number, BEFORE the operator answers. Listen to Alec's call, total silence, no hyperventilating or crying, not a whimper, not a sound, and then the operator answers and he starts the melodrama. No one goes from absolutely nothing to hysteria within a few seconds unless they are faking. I hope the prosecutors mention this.
1 Yes stuffing wounds, chest compressions etc 2 no prior to medical aid the threat would have to be ended if you believe someone is around that just shot your kids you need to get a firearm first but this is irrelevant because he murdered them and this dude is a lawyer so that means he thinks it's a good gamble
@@jakobjas4212 most people would not be thinking very straight. If I was wearing a white T-shirt and found my family brutally murdered that white T-shirt would be smeared with blood because I would be holding their bodies.
Officer Greene the 1st responder did a wonderful job on the witness stand . This is how all police officers should act . He is a true professional. Thank you for your service. Keep up the good work. To the 2 victims RIP 🙏🙏.
I have been watching several videos of the trial. This video just convinced me he killed his wife and son. I am a retired PO. I proudly did the ‘deed’ for 37 long years in two major police department. The fact that if I just showed up to the double homicide of your wife and son, and you start, unsolicited, telling and giving me a possible ‘motives’, not ‘suspects’ for the ‘killing’ of your son and possibly your wife, tells me a lot about where your concerns are. As we cops would often think when a ‘possible’ suspect voluntarily offers ‘motives’ o ‘reasons; “What is the price of oranges in China has to do with what is going on here.” The fact that the ‘reporter’ is too ready to help and not distraught considering what he just found, is a clear ‘red flag’ that something is not ‘right’. Would I be ‘greeting’ anyone at the scene as if I was just walking down ‘Main Street’ while my wife and son are laying on the ground with their brains splattered all over the place? I don’t think so. This ‘lawyer’ is going down the tubes.
@@dewaynebyrdsong3241 I think he HAD to make sure they were not going to be able to cling to life and tell someone…. He kept yelling “are they really dead?” - thinking he was terrified one of them, probably Maggie would whisper

Daniel Greene’s 3 year old daughter was killed in a car accident in July of 2023. My heart is broken for this man and her mother. The little girls name was Carter. May she rest in peace. I hope Daniel can find comfort in the memories he has of his sweet little daughter. 🙏🙏 for all.
Defense lawyers are really grasping straws. If a man sees his wife and child with their heads blown off and all he does is rant, without tears or trying to hold his wife or child, he’s Guilty in my book. I thought the police officer did an outstanding job.
If you think that proves guilt, then I’ve seen people guilty of a car accident they’re nowhere near. I have an idea, how about the state comes up with how it’s possible for him to have done it and hid the blood and firearms, and they provide evidence that it happened. Even the judge said there’s no direct evidence so the state has to prove all kinds of fraud instead. Sounds wrong to me.
@@annechris2677 You seem to think you know it all, but all you have are opinions, most of which are baseless & bring ZERO to the case. Remember opinions are like A-holes......we all have em, but some stink more than others you can bellow out all you like, but you haven't a clue.

Agree The authorities made no effort to secure the crime scene. They seem to have gone out of their way to contaminate the scene and destroy crime scene evidence.
The good thing is you do, we just don’t see them on a televised trial. We have them here in Australia too. Sadly the few bad apples can spoil it for the many many upstanding Officers. 🇺🇸 🇦🇺

If I am a Juror, the lack of preparation by the defense counsel to have the body cam footage at least broadly catalogued with quick reference time points, and their ineptitude at adapting in the moment, to present sections of the video in a timely manner, is highly irritating. They had this video in discovery for MONTHS before trial, so the lead Defense Counsel saying "I apologize Judge this technology is difficult" is pathetic. You can't blame the technology IF you haven't properly time stamped the transcript from you are improperly READING FROM in your cross examination. He's saying "I want to hear page number____" well, the defense team SHOULD HAVE at minimum, included their own time stamp reference range for each page of the transcript they possess. It's sloppy and disrespectful to waste the jury's time with these unnecessary delays, and frankly, blaming it all on "technology" is disingenuous. I am not impressed with the Defense Team at all.
Agree. Jim Griffin seems totally unprepared and operates like someone who’s never done this kind of work before, and Harpootlian is either napping in his chair or being a belligerent loudmouth when questioning witnesses.
For someone who has just walked onto the scene of his wife and son's murder, he shows very little emotion, other than some agitation. Someone shot and killed my dog many years ago, and I was so hysterical, I could barely speak, only sob uncontrollably. I can't imagine seeing a person shot and killed, let alone a spouse and child
This young man is the most professional and put-together person in this trial so far, including the lawyers. He's bright, composed, self-confident, and earnest, and has a good memory as well as a lucid, stable attitude about everything that is going on. He holds up exceedingly well on the stand and makes a strong, positive impression. I admire him a lot and only wish everyone we've seen during this entire ordeal were half as competent as he. Well done, Deputy Greene, well done, young man.
Yes! He's wonderful even through the badgering. He never falters. Good job! If this attorney wanted him wearing his rubbers to the scene, he needs to take that up with "higher ups" LOL
Seems odd that his son does not get emotional or upset with the detail discrimination of the events leading up to the death of his mother and brother 😢
That’s exactly what I was thinking, so weird to see him sitting there with those different grins all seeming to be close to a smile. Maybe it’s appearing This way because he channeled his hurt into nervousness…. Just a thought, I’m trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

It is my understanding that Alex was embezzling money from the firm because of his drug habit, his wife was divorcing him, and because of Paul driving a boat drunk, he caused the boat to crash, and a young woman fell out of the boat and drowned, so Alex was being sued for $30 million because of her death. It just looks suspicious that he just thought he was getting rid of his problems by shooting his wife and son.
Yes I get it but the lawyer for the law suit for 30 mil said once they were murdered he knew his lawsuit was over noone would want to hit a man with that suit who just had his family killed.and Maggie was gonna divorce him probably cuz a few wks b4 she was killed she when to see a divorce lawyer. So she would of been able to get alot from that divorce but even if she did not she was the owner of a few of their properties she dies he gets the property and money he could probably pay off some things and maybe disappear but either way those to reasons were very big reasons to get that 30 mil suit gone and divorce gone .I would not do it but thus man has no problem doing anything to kp up his lifestyle and that includes anything and never even feeling bad about it ..soo sad

I get the impression that Sergeant knows a guilty perp when he sees one, especially when that perp is standing near the dead bodies of his wife and son and blathering on with a story he wasn't asked to tell but manages to greet a first responder with an upbeat "how you doin?"
Poor dogs saw it all as well as living on concrete and relieving themselves where they sleep. So sad. I don't know why it's legal to have dogs like this.
I find it hard to imagine being able to speak after finding your alleged loved ones expired by means of gunshot to the head. Genuine scenes have people sobbing/screaming uncontrollably to the point where they cant give statements. The "Hey how you doin?" Is strange as well Also when he asked multiple times if they were in fact deceased. I feel like hes trying to get reassurance. Almost like he believes they DRs will be be able to revive the victims. In that scenario there is a possibility the victims can give statements.
I'd be in so much shock and my mind would be numb. When my stroke survivor husband fell out of bed, went into a seizure and cut his head it looked like he was dying. I had to ring emergency for ambulance and couldn't even remember our address. I did manage to get the correct info out all the while my hubby was going blue in the face. I had to really try to focus while the paramedics worked on him, to answer their qestions. Thankfully he is doing fine now. Also I didn't cry all through the weeks he was in hospital, staying strong for him. But months later I did cry with the memories of it.
I found my friend passed away by a self inflicted gunshot to the head. Over 30 years of friendship and he was never depressed, on medication or talked about 5uicide ever. It was very obvious he was dead but I was in so much shock I was viewing all the blood as vomit. It didn’t make sense but I didn’t see the gun and dark stuff was all over him. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t touch him. I couldn’t process anything. When help arrived they were asking me questions but I was going into panic attack. I have two police reports with me saying very different things and I don’t remember any of it. I do remember constantly asking is he dead? Is he dead? Over and over and over. I wasn’t screaming or hysterical. Let’s just say it was obvious he was gone. At the hospital I could answer questions better because they got me calmed down. I saw the video of Alex and his reactions seem very normal to me. I would start crying but try so hard to stop so we could figure out what happened. I still didn’t know he took his life at this point. Another friend on scene was yelling No very loudly to the police. He was angry but for the most part it was calm. When Alex is quiet he looks dazed and in shock. I just zoned out if someone wasn’t talking to me so I was grateful for conversation in a way. I can’t judge people anymore at the scene. I don’t know if Alex killed his wife and son or not. It is definitely likely someone else might kill them. He is a bad man stealing money like he did but I don’t necessarily think that makes him a killer. I look forward to seeing the evidence.
Exactly. Also if you just find a dead body especially your own family members and you have no idea if its a robbery or revenge attempt, the first natural instinct is for you to run away, to be silent not make any noise or obvious movement and escape right away from being the next target because even if cops are coming to rescue you, it might be too late for them because you might be shot by the intruder within seconds!
I feel like dad and son were in this together, honestly....look at him smiling at the videotape. Like your dead mom and brother are on there. Wtf is wrong with these people???! It's like their humanity buttons are disfunctional
For anyone who is interested, The Behavior Panel uploaded a video on February 9 where they analyze the body language of Alex where he is on camera while he is sitting in the police car and being interviewed by an officer (possibly the detective and a female officer). The Behavior Panel is a TH-cam channel consisting of four experts in body language who upload videos every Thursday, where they analyze clips of different people who are talking on camera, or being interviewed, etc., (usually criminals, although recently they talked about Harry and Megan and the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and others), and they analyze their body language and speech and give their opinion as to possible deception. All four experts agreed Alex’s body language screams deception and bs and they believe his behavior shows the opposite of proper emotion and lack of innocence.
I know by listening he’s guilty heck nobody else had a motive to kill then but him and the first thing Alex started doing was pointing the finger at the boating crash killing that young lady now that automatically let me know he’s guilty as Judas
Iin addition to a lot of disgust and certain feelings, I feel so sorry for the dog/dogs. They're sensitive creatures and I can't even imagine what they saw and are sensing. I agree?! I haven’t seen one person mention this but his first words to the responding officer discuss what Alex believes were the events PRECEDING the double homicide?! When your wife and son are dead of a gunshot wound and you come upon them…and 911 sends out an officer…when they ask what’s going on…you start with: omg I was doing this then that and this and then I came here and I found this and that. I attempted to render aid xyz etc etc…not: ok well this all started months ago my son was accused of xyz…and they had to have come and shot him…that’s what happened… Like, WHAT?! No. Not normal. Not to mention his fake tears. And the surviving son looks like he just pranked his buddy in English class…?! Not like he’s at his fathers murder trial accused of killing his brother and mother?!
That’s absolute nonsense. If someone close to you was just executed, you would be listing everything you could think of for an enemy. The police always ask you if you know anyone that might harm the victim. Now the fact he did what the cop asked, is what you think is proof he’s guilty. I guess an innocent person doesn’t mention the people trying to ruin your life, right? Wrong. Innocent and guilty people will list enemies. It’s no more evidence than the fact he has a trigger finger.

I think he is guilty...there is no reasonable doubt but just because a person offers a possibility of what happened does not prove guilt or suggest guilt.
Even before the officer asked anything, the ‘defendant’ is giving his ‘alibi’ at the scene, and he even offers to verify ‘via the phone ‘data’ when he arrived.
I can't believe the audacity of this lawyer of Murduogh's trying to put the deaths of Paul and Maggie on the poor families of these other victims!! What a crying shame !! But sounds like just the thing this criminal will do !!!
Mudaugh had plenty of opportunities to deflect and place blame on other people in the interviews but never took the chance to do so as far as I can tell. All said I believe that may be what actually happened and wouldn't say that even staging the whole thing to frame him for it isn't outside of the realm of possibilities when understanding how many enemies this family has attracted.
And they covered up the screen so that the prick can’t see the video of his dead family. Unreal. That should be enforced that he watch it…. Everyone else has to go threw it again.
He knew his wife had consulted a divorce attorney. I believe she was being lured to the property to be killed by either the defendant or someone he hired, and the son was collateral damage.
Yes, the wife was a threat. Filing for divorce would have caused an investigation into their finances. That would have started questions being asked about not only family finances but also the law firms. His embezzlement would have come to light.
In the court of public opinion, Alex Murdaugh is a sadistic, money stealing, narcissistic assh*le who killed part of his family so that his money schemes would not be found out. Definitely not a real man.
As I watch the suspect's facial expressions and listen to the witness and the interlude from the body camera, it is abundantly clear to me that someone who loved their loved ones would not act like this. I would go crazy if I lost my loved ones in such a brutal way and I couldn't even speak ever more in my life.
When I received the phone call from my girls that their brother, my son, was found dead......I didn't cry.....I felt like I'd been hit by a truck... I couldnt stand up straight. I just moaned......I pray to God, He takes me home before I ever have to feel that agony ever again....😞 But that said, a policeman arriving there just after the phone call would not have seen tears.......I was totally stunned by the news....😟
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you’re hearing and trying to still enjoy your life- your son would want you to be happy as you could be, considering. I cannot relate to losing a child but I understand the different reactions to losing loved ones unexpectedly. I found my fiancé when he committed suicide. I had been yelling his name trying to find him when I woke up alone. When I saw his legs on the ground before I even saw what he had done I knew he was dead. But once I saw his face, then I grabbed him, trying to move his arms to make him hold me back, I realized he was in rigor mortis. I screamed his name in such a piercing tone when I first saw him, and I was bawling as I called 911. I never stopped bawling and screaming. They literally had to pull me off him, strap me to a gurney and take me to the ER so they could get to him; I wouldn’t let him go. I don’t remember much otherwise. I think I just blocked it out immediately. On another occasion I got a phone call that another friend had committed suicide. His brother found him and was the one to call me. He was calm and monotone in his retelling of the event. I couldn’t make a sound, it felt like I couldn’t breathe, but then I heard this god awful, non human like loud groan coming from myself. It was just involuntary. Then the tears came. My best male friend died of a heart attack at age 38 last summer. I threw up when I heard the news, but I couldn’t cry. I only cried at his funeral. I’ve had a lot more deaths of loved ones than those, I’m just sharing a few different experiences I’ve had initially learning of their passing. I don’t think we can make any concrete conclusions on guilt or innocence when it comes to how a person reacts to the news or to finding them yourself. But in this case, I’m suspicious about him for other reasons. So I’m interested in hearing what happens in this case. I hope the real truth comes out.
And if you had been accused, this audience would say you were obviously guilty, and you didn’t care about them at all. Half these people are below average intelligence, but they think they know everything despite having zero experience.
This is one of my favorite judges. He was judge on the Rowland trial. He put Rowland’s mom in her place. I still feel sorry for her, though. It would be hard to come to terms with your son being capable of such a brutal crime. My other favorite judge was on the Sievers’ trial.
Sievers trial was unreal. The judge was so impressive… especially at the end when he says it not his job to judge people for what they have done. Death sentence
I don’t know if he’s innocent or guilty I don’t know if I could take finding my family murdered I think I would be out of control with grief I know I would be vomiting. This family seems to have a lot of crimes attached to them

"Make sure not to point it at anybody please" when he has the Sergeant show the gun to the jury. How disrespectful. Obviously a police Sergeant knows not to point a gun at people.
And yet I’ve seen a cop shoot himself in the leg in front of a classroom full of kids, so you’d be wrong to assume. I’ve also seen people in court muzzle sweep the jury, but I admit I don’t know if it was a cop. Not disrespectful to remind people of gun safety. Any true safety expert would want everyone to remember the safety rules and repeat them as often as possible. I’m a former range NCO, and I’ve taught literally hundreds of people how to turn circles in a crowd without muzzle sweeping anyone. I would be pleased to have someone remind me as they hand me a weapon, not insulted.
I’m not sure if you’ve seen a later day in the trial when Harpootlian in displaying evidence pointed a gun in directly in the Prosecutions direction & made a smart comment. I hope the court follows up on this after the trial is over.
Officer Greene is a true champion. Great to know that there are highly competent and trained people working in law enforcement. If only dogs could talk, we would hear some really incriminating evidence!!!

I keep hearing about how kind and caring Maggie was and how she didnt deserve it but if you listen to the call where Miss Satterfield has "fallen" down the stairs, she is uncaring and rude and I believe she was a witness and accomplice for Gloria being pushed down the stairs. @@rickgarza4167 of course not! I agree with you and its terrible. I wasnt suggesting she deserved to be murdered, Im just frustrated that shes being painted as a saint because shes a victim.
Watch Murdaugh carefully. Every time he knows something is coming up where he's supposed to cry, he sets his lips and tongue in motion to initiate the cry sequence. After his cry sequence begins, he glances sideways, and with eyes half closed, he checks to see if the jury is watching. He's sickening. IMO
@@robinkoricanek5162 this doesnt make any sense though. Who, who would also want would to revenge kill Paul, even knew that he would be there? All the info Alex is providing to the responding officer seems to me is to establish his alibi and suggest possible motive (boat crash). An innocent man (father and husband) would be totally distraught and unable to respond in such detail IMHO. Unbelievable.

The officer said that he did not see any physical tears and just like here, if you watch him closely, you can tell that he is trying his best to make himself cry, but not happening yet. I have been watching his eye movement and I have noticed that he will lot his eyes on a specific spot and star hard. By doing that most anyone can make their eyes tear. You focus on a certain spot for a moment and it is almost like your star so hard that it strains them for a moment and you can make tears come to them. You can also blink hard and fast in between the so call hard stare to make a tear come down your cheek. We use to do this type of fake tears in plays when we did not have or forgot you eye drops to use for that purpose. This is only my opinion. He does look like he finally attempts trying for those fake tears to come. Although I am sure he will start trying again before all this is over. I was not able to watch it all the way through.
I like his head bobing up & down while viewing the body cam footage of his dead wife& son. Like yeah, i did that. Also his weird mouth movements. Guilty as charged! 😭 💥 💯
For real, why make yourself have to worry about whether or not your a good enough actor to pull out the tears at the right time so that the cameras , the judge and jury will believe that you are so sad , shocked and devastated that there’s no way you could be guilty? Most people choke when they need those tears for the not guilty verdict. Too much pressure, so I thought if it were me who needed those tears, there’s no way I’d take the chance of them not showing up……… I’d put a couple of small slivers of onions in a ziplock bag and I would crush it up really good so I can rub it all over my fingers and try to get some under my nails so when it’s time for tears , you cover your face with your hands and start wiping the tears into your eyes!!! You don’t have to use onions, crushed pepper would make tears, too. For real tho, even with real tears coming down his face, I still believe his ass did it!
I cried so much when my brother died, I had no more tears. BUT, that was over 4 days of continuous tears. Unless there is a medical condition with his eyes, I don’t know how he held the tears back.
@@kbo730 I know exactly what you mean and this was his kid. He did it or paid someone to. I just have this feeling he did and I had this feeling before I found out the lies he has been caught in. The onebi can not let go is the recording when oaul called his best friend to tell him something was wrong with Cash, his friends dog’s tail. Alex's voice was heard loud and clear and that was something like 8:40 that night. Oh, also the video with the detectives in their car that night. Even though he really put on a big show, no tears at all. He has tissue or something bald up in his hand and never once used it. Even when he straightens it out you can tell it is not wet or damp with tears and he never puts it to his eyes. But boy, he put on an act. I have been really trying to keep up with this. It just blows my mind. I don't see how people can kill other humans beings anyway, but your wife spouse, your kids. There is a retired crime scene investigator, snapper, who has done a lot more who I also like to watch and I guess a buddy of his, who I also like to watch has put together a reenactment, CSI style, by using measurements and positions that were released or what has been shown in court. This defense attorney must be from the back ages! He is so unorganized.. As high-profile of a case this is, you would think he'd be the type of attorney that would at least be able to afford an assistant to help him ! I can't imagine how aggravated the judge is.
Despite all the financial misdeeds the defence only has to prove reasonable doubt about the murders. They are likely hoping the prosecution goes too far with the financial stuff and creates grounds for appeal.
All prepared with the "boat" story which he tells without even being asked to try to keep eyes off of him. It appears that Alex and his lawyer continually cover his monitor with white cardboard so Alex doesn't have to see the two people that he brutally murdered. I feel so bad for the dogs. They know something bad went down. Especially labradors which they all were. They are companion animals and they know when something is wrong with their humans. I also feel bad that they are stuck in kennels for most if not all of their day.
It didnt sound like he was prepared w a story. Fathers sonetimes and lawyers have to pickup w/o falling apart. Also say hi how ya doin, he was reported to say that when he was in the presence of an attorney who was suing him. Public life sometimes thats an autoreflex. Ive actually done that at the worst of times. No not in a situation like this but a funeral.

Because he's a conniving, condescending, entitled, narcissistic, socipathic, spoiled, rich, asshat who thinks he is above the law,, is just like his old ass man! A lying creep and a murderer!! That whole family is a bunch of scandalous f's!
I believe him having the shotgun was an accident. After shooting both, he prob planned to dispose of the gun but prob forgot and didn’t realize it until it was too late to hide it. Then he made up the story on the fly about leaving the deceased bodies to go get it for protection. And the son, wow… it’s clear that this family was very evil. I bet the mom went through hell with them.
I asked over and over if my friend was dead when I found him. He died by a self inflicted gunshot to the head. It was obvious he was gone but I was in shock. I kept asking just like Alex if he was dead. Like somehow what I saw could be fixed. They could save him. They finally told me he was gone and then when they were asking me questions I kept asking when they were going to take him to the hospital or get him out of the house. I ended up in a panic attack, couldn’t breath and was taken to hospital. That entire video of him being questioned looks genuine to me. Did he kill them? I don’t know. I’m sure there were people that didn’t like his son. Curious if they cast the tire tracks. The water. Was that there because his son was doing something with it for the dogs possibly? What did Alex say about the water? I see Alex staring into space when he is quiet in that cops car. I remember that feeling and answering the questions for the police after I was in the hospital went much better. An officer came to the hospital with me. Even though it was a 5uicide they had to investigate to make sure.
Well, I have to agree with you. Everything is weird, the first time, but death, especially other humans to me is too weird, every time. I don't get how people can trust themselves to just look at someone and off the cuff say, they're guilty as sin or whatever and I would be very, very cautious when deciding on very little evidence if someone should go to prison for such a long time. People are convicted and sent to prison by jury for huge amounts of time based on literally nothing but other people words and gut feelings. I mean no matter what I am incapable of harming anyone in my direct family or cause harm to be brought upon them but I hope that I am never in this Mudaugh guy's predicament because for Whiskey Mike there's no getting out of that, your done for. I know very little about this case but the first hour is completely evidence-less, as far as pinning it on Murdaugh.
Yea and all of the evidence that has been introduced destroying his credibility makes him seem genuine also, huh? He admitted himself he knew they were gone when he tried to turn them over. There’s no putting your brain matter back in your head. He knew they were dead. Thanks for making excuses for him though and lack of remorse. You don’t hear him begging officers to get an ambulance there or asking if they can save them. He knew they were done for bc he finished them off, left to dispose of the weapon(a) and returned and turned the water hose on to make sure the blood didn’t appear dry.
@@rollbamaroll6518 I’m not sure why you seem angry in your response. Most likely Alex is guilty but I need to see better evidence. It was very obvious my friend was gone but I couldn’t understand it. Couldn’t process it. What was blood and brain matter I was seeing it as vomit. I had not a hint he would do something like this in 32 years of friendship. I couldn’t see the gun and the sheets were navy blue. His body was purple. So seeing all that I was still asking if he was dead. I didn’t even call 911. I called our friend. He found me thank god because I couldn’t be understood because I couldn’t speak clearly for awhile. I didn’t even think to call 911 which I was told is very common. Many call the people that make them feel safe and protected. I’m mentioning all this because we can’t judge people at the scene. People have so many different reactions. Two police officers have reports of me saying two different things and I don’t remember them asking me anything on scene. One said he was in the bed and the other said he was on the floor. I didn’t learn about his manner of death until the police came to the emergency room to question me and asked me if he was left or right handed. That question confused me and I asked why are you asking me that. That is how I learned and panic attack number 3 was trying to start but they gave me some really good drugs. Lol. I will never judge behavior ever again in my life. His behavior didn’t send red flags for me while in that police car. Chris Watts watching the video footage at his neighbors house of him loading his family into his truck….now that was definitely a red flag. I noticed it immediately as did everyone else. I pray you never experience a violent traumatic event. If you have or do I hope you can handle it better than others. I never thought I would react the way I did. As the trial is moving forward for Alex it seems he is looking guilty. Definitely had motive. Again, I knew my friend was gone somewhere inside of me but I kept asking. I was too scared to touch him and carry guilt about that to this day. What if he had a pulse?
@@bethanywhite877 I wouldn't be too hard on yourself about that, it would probably be more reasonable to be concerned if you ever start 'to get used to it'....

Actually Harpootlian ate him up and made him look extremely bad and showed that he didn't protect the crime scene. I'm local, the guy is a goof, Daniel Greene.
@@YourNightmare4u2c I noticed Sergeant Deputy Greene was extremely careful with his answers and chose his words carefully. It makes him appear as if he wanted to leave the issue at hand wide open for the possibility that if the crime scene was contaminated, it wasn't his fault or his doings. I also noticed the witness was allowed a lot of leeway for comments and opinions as part of his answers. For example, if rhe question could have been answered with a straightforward "yes" or "no", he was allowed to extrapolate.
I agree! In my opinion, don’t think Dick “left him numerous voicemails” and he just said that to make it look like the States witnesses were not cooperative
@@YourNightmare4u2c That was clearly what he attempted to do but no, he failed miserably at making him look even slightly bad. @@imhere653 They always allow room to explain, the more they keep you talking the more chances you'll say something wrong. I was in a very similar court case, prosecution told me to say a simple "yes" or "no" whenever possible
Yikes. Alec saying "How ya doing" to some random person walking by, right during the middle of his "crying episode". That is CREEPY AS HELL.
It was just an attempt at trying to appear at ease like he wasn’t freaking out about him being the guilty party. However, he forgot that he was supposed to be freaked out about his family’s murders.
I TOTALLY AGREE!!
He was hoping for an applause break. Acting is hard work.
She’s pretty. There have been a few pretty reporters in the Aud.
I found that to be odd as well
I know that if it happened to me and I called the police I would probably not even breathe until I heard the operator.
Good ears! I misses that

As we cops would often think when a ‘possible’ suspect voluntarily offers ‘motives’ o ‘reasons; “What is the price of oranges in China has to do with what is going on here.”
The fact that the ‘reporter’ is too ready to help and not distraught considering what he just found, is a clear ‘red flag’ that something is not ‘right’.
Would I be ‘greeting’ anyone at the scene as if I was just walking down ‘Main Street’ while my wife and son are laying on the ground with their brains splattered all over the place? I don’t think so.

Defense lawyers are really grasping straws. If a man sees his wife and child with their heads blown off and all he does is rant, without tears or trying to hold his wife or child, he’s Guilty in my book. I thought the police officer did an outstanding job.
They get paid a lot of money to grasp.

The whole defense was trash from opening statement on
Agree. Jim Griffin seems totally unprepared and operates like someone who’s never done this kind of work before, and Harpootlian is either napping in his chair or being a belligerent loudmouth when questioning witnesses.

I find it hard to imagine being able to speak after finding your alleged loved ones expired by means of gunshot to the head. Genuine scenes have people sobbing/screaming uncontrollably to the point where they cant give statements.
The "Hey how you doin?" Is strange as well
Also when he asked multiple times if they were in fact deceased.
And the amount of times he keeps talking about the sunflowers, it just didn't seem right

Same.
@@debbielinn5671 me too.I still think about asking the sister of the person's funeral I attended. "How you doing?"... The look on her face is etched into my memory
Scary that this guy might get away with murder. & Why is his son smiling?
Because he's a conniving, condescending, entitled, narcissistic, socipathic, spoiled, rich, asshat who thinks he is above the law,, is just like his old ass man! A lying creep and a murderer!! That whole family is a bunch of scandalous f's!
Agreed. Only thing in helping with a sick feeling of not guilty is he will die in prison for the very provable fraud charges
He's a psycho.
Murdaugh is a terrible actor.
For real. Him and his dry tears.
ربما الام كانت مثلهم , شرا ايضا و تستحق ما حاق بها , اليس هذا احتمال؟ ام انك تتحدثين عما يجول في حياتك و خاطرك تباعا؟؟ قل الحق , فالحق راحة

Pretty sure one of the officers on the body cam said that the shell casings were from a .300 blk
People in the country keep guns on them. If he thought there was a killer on his property he most definitely would have gotten a gun.
He hid the murder weapon. he got the other rifle to look like that was the only gun he had brought out.
It's weird that Buster doesn't seem bothered by anything in this trial 🤔
@@bethanywhite877 I totally understand what you’re saying. I’ve never been in that situation but some other pretty scary critical situations.
@@bethanywhite877 I wouldn't be too hard on yourself about that, it would probably be more reasonable to be concerned if you ever start 'to get used to it'....
Defense lawyer grasping at straws.
And the evil in his eyes is unreal he doesn't seem very affected watching the footage at the crime scene and his son sitting in court aswell so unemotional.
I disagree - he’s upset, he had snots coming from his nose.
@@ssbbg27 he is a murderer simple as that.
The defense lawyer is making himself look foolish with his lines of questioning. Great job Sgt. Daniel Greene!!
I can't imagine finding my child in the state described at this scene and being able to function at all.
I was thinking the same thing. I would not be able to control myself.
Let alone speak to anyone.
And organise family AND friends to come over before Police even arrived.
What an excellent first responding officer. Excellent.
Actually Harpootlian ate him up and made him look extremely bad and showed that he didn't protect the crime scene. I'm local, the guy is a goof, Daniel Greene.
@@YourNightmare4u2c
I noticed Sergeant Deputy Greene was extremely careful with his answers and chose his words carefully.
This is typical of defense when they have nothing, just keep running you in circles with the same questions worded slightly different each time hoping you'll slip. This officer's answers never changed
@@imhere653 They always allow room to explain, the more they keep you talking the more chances you'll say something wrong. I was in a very similar court case, prosecution told me to say a simple "yes" or "no" whenever possible
