ok thank fuck, thought I was crazy for years liking the vibe of the book/film, this validates me so damn hard. The city/factory vibe is also huge ASMR for me, when they're walking around the cold stoney industrial back alleys with the faded oldies Christmas music.
I like the film a lot. I love the scene where they get lost in Santa's workshop and you could hear oldies Christmas music in the background. I like the city part too. It's so beautiful.
You premiered this one day after the passing of my big brother who went to be with Christ on June 16th, 2021. He ADORED "The Polar Express" for all of the biblical revelation that was in it and even bought "the bell" that was represented in the film. I feel like this was a "God wink" from my brother since he also knew that I love oldie from the Golden Age. This video is a combination of both thing my brother and I love and, though you didn't know it, you just blessed the both of us beyond measure in you and your crew for making this video. I saw a actual train up close today, and it was really cool. It looked awful for the environment but it felt so magical with the snow falling and the Christmas carolers singing next to me. I don’t usually get the Christmas spirit feeling but that- that felt like Christmas. Just pure joy.

When there's a blizzard and it's calm, you play that music in your warm wood-fired house, you put on your socks, you make hot chocolate and some sweets and cookies, and you look out the window at the white of snow.
