You too! I once had depression but I got out of it by realizing that if I wanted to become useful and successful, I have to try doing things from now on and help people around me.

My eyes are literally watering. I do not know how to express it at the moment. I'm not getting enough sleep because of depression and anxiety, listening to it is such a great relief. Sad how we're missing on such simple and beautiful things available in nature.

I spend hours of my day studying with this in the background. When the reading gets a bit much I just look up and out to the horizon in this video and imagine myself lying on this beach with the hot summer sun on my face with a cool beer in my hand. It really does 'take you away' to another place. I hope that one day if work hard enough and do my studies, that I will be able to afford to go to these places several times a year for a couple weeks to let go of the stresses of work life in the UK. This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. It gave me a safety feeling of being inside my family’s home, with my parents and siblings, while I fell asleep with the sound of a torrential rain falling on the zinc roof. I love rain and thunder.
This takes me back to camping with my dad before he passed and in my sleep i dream of our trips sometimes when i wake up i realize I’m an adult and he is gone but it doesn’t make me sad because it’s like I get to spend a weekend with him again even if in reality it’s only 5 to 7 hours of me sleeping. I swear before I’m fully awake and realize where I am I can smell the camp fire. Crazy how powerful the brain can be. Goodnight my fellow campers good luck on catching a monster bass tomorrow lol.
I closed the window, pulled the curtain down, turned on the cold air conditioner, and opened this video. The rain made me remember my childhood days, when it rained all day, my sister and I were in our old house, studying or playing, waiting for my parents to return after a day of work; then we had dinner together, watched TV, and then went to sleep. There was no internet, no facebook, no smartphone ... just the sound of rain like that, with trees, with insects, slightly chilly weather and feeling of peace.

I've dealt with chronic clinical depression for 33 years, along with anxiety disorders, ADD, and agoraphobia. Everyday I wake up feeling useless, hopeless and "bad". Allow me to share a couple tips. 1) Never let people tell you they know how you feel (they have absolutely no idea) or to just "snap out of it" or to "pull yourself up by your bootstraps". Everything we know and perceive is completely dependent on chemicals in the brain that determine our reality. It's impossible for a "normal" person to speak intelligently about your condition. 2) No matter how bad you feel, no matter how long you feel bad, even if you lose hope, you can live with pain and depression one more day. There is a reason we are on this earth and we may never know what that reason is until this life is over. But if we have faith in our Creator, and set our hope on Him, in due time he will raise us up to a glorious existence that is beyond our ability to imagine. I hope you will.

This reminds me of my grandfather's from when I was a child. My family used to go there a few times per year. My brother and I would go down to the creek and swim. We'd watch thunderstorms from the back porch. So relaxing.
It always brings the memory of holidays. My husband and I were the first year alone and then with our children. Every year we were camping. Some years we had a weather exactly the same: rain and thunderstorms and if you see us all, we had such an amazing time 😊 despite the rainy weather. We were playing board games, cards, and talking. And the smell after the rain, omg.. The smell of the forest 😍 I will never forget this
I use my earphones to listen to this now because my two beautiful fur daughters (sweet chihuahuas) they would hear the storm on my Alexa and think it was real and sought to shake sugar and whimper and jump off the bed go and hide under the bed and I would have to convince them that it's all gone and it's safe and they come back on the bed sweet peacefully I put my earphones on and I go to sleep, ☮️🇺🇸🌧️
I had to study but I was feeling very tired, stressed and nervous , so I'm listening to this and my headache is gone and I feel really calm and I studied peacefully, I'm still tired tho- but I feel it has eased my fatigue even

I spend hours of my day studying with this in the background. When the reading gets a bit much I just look up and out to the horizon in this video and imagine myself lying on this beach with the hot summer sun on my face with a cool beer in my hand. It really does 'take you away' to another place. I hope that one day if work hard enough and do my studies, that I will be able to afford to go to these places several times a year for a couple weeks to let go of the stresses of work life in the UK. Thank you so much for uploading. This has made my life so much more bearable.

This takes me back to camping with my dad before he passed and in my sleep i dream of our trips sometimes when i wake up i realize I’m an adult and he is gone but it doesn’t make me sad because it’s like I get to spend a weekend with him again even if in reality it’s only 5 to 7 hours of me sleeping. I've dealt with chronic clinical depression for 33 years, along with anxiety disorders, ADD, and agoraphobia. Everyday I wake up feeling useless, hopeless and "bad". Allow me to share a couple tips. 1) Never let people tell you they know how you feel (they have absolutely no idea) or to just "snap out of it" or to "pull yourself up by your bootstraps". Everything we know and perceive is completely dependent on chemicals in the brain that determine our reality. It's impossible for a "normal" person to speak intelligently about your condition. 2) No matter how bad you feel, no matter how long you feel bad, even if you lose hope, you can live with pain and depression one more day. There is a reason we are on this earth and we may never know what that reason is until this life is over. But if we have faith in our Creator, and set our hope on Him, in due time he will raise us up to a glorious existence that is beyond our ability to imagine. I hope you will.

This reminds me of my grandfather's from when I was a child. My family used to go there a few times per year. My brother and I would go down to the creek and swim. We'd watch thunderstorms from the back porch. So relaxing.
