This film is Christmas. If someone who never experienced Christmas before asked me what it’s like, I’d just say watch The Polar Express. The sound, the way it looks, its vibe & its spirit just sums up Christmas for me, especially when I was a child. Brings a tear to the eye.

The nostalgia hits so hard it’s not even funny.. makes me want to cry. I watch this movie every year. I remember watching it in class in elementary school too.
This reminds me of my childhood when Christmas felt magical and everything was ok but that time has pasted and there is no going back but all I can do is try my best to hold onto the memories and remember.

My dad and sister and I still snuggle up near the tree at my parents house each Christmas Eve and watch this movie. I’m 29 and my is 23. This movie is tradition for us!😊
Even as an adult who has fallen out of Christmas and no longer puts up decorations; when I come back to this movie it brings a nostalgic feel of Christmas joy I felt as a kid & that will always be cherished.
It’s a shame, we need to keep this tradition for future generations. They deserve to feel this joy too! I always go the extra mile to decorate my house.

This is my favorite Christmas movie and part of the reason why I love it is because of this music I can’t describe it. It’s so Christmas when I think of Christmas, I think of this soundtrack I immediately start humming believe I understand why people dislike this movie but it is one of the best movies in my opinion if you haven’t seen it before or I think that the face is all creepy try and look past it and watch this movie it’s beautiful just maybe not visually

Sobre estás fechas mi familia y yo preparábamos un poco todos los adornos de navidad, a mí perrita Isi le encantaba todo esto, sobre todo las serpentinas de navidad. Mientras otro más lo preparamos no puedo dejar de llorar, este año será el primero que ella no está con nosotros. Mi corazón está triste pero lo hago porque ella así lo quiere allá donde esté en el cielo perruno.😢

It also reminds me of a few times from back in high school. One involved listening to Christmas music in August and September of 2018 during an era of nostalgia for me. The other time was going to an outdoor screening of the movie by my high school on Friday, December 13th, 2019. I remember it vividly due to the cool temperatures in the low 10s Celsius and the Moon coming up midway through the movie as a beautiful gibbous phase.
Supposedly there was a rumored sequel in the works. I can’t say for certain whether it’s true or not, but I honestly don’t know how to feel about that 😅

Have to agree. Christmas always felt magical to me as a kid but also slightly mysterious. Hard to explain really. Polar Express captured that for me.

I am alone with no friends or family so Christmas is hard for me. But, i still love to watch this every Christmas eve.
