Rob Hubbard had a strange habit at that time - to put very touching songs into Hi-Score even if it didn't fit the game itself, but they were always nice songs:)
Those guys... Rob Hubbard, Martin Galway, Ben Daglish, Jonathan Dunn, Tim Follin... they were always like "Hey, I have this simple game here, it's about a guy doing bread, not very fancy, very simple arcadeish, could you maybe make a fun 30 second loop song for it?" "YEAH SURE HAVE THIS 10 MINUTE FREAKING MASTERPIECE OF RICH EMOTION INDUCING SONG WITH ALL KINDS OF COMPLEX TIME SIGNATURES AND VERSES AND BRIDGES AND CHORUS AND INSANE EFFECTS AND STUFF THE HARDWARE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO DO BUT IT SOUNDS GREAT!. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR GAME BUT I AM SURE YOU'LL LIKE IT!"
@@rafaellima83 the perfect example of that is probably the 17 minute long Rob Hubbard masterpiece in Knuckle Busters.. it wasn't even a particularly good game, but the music .. that was something else!
I really like that Barry Leitch did a remake of this song for Impossamole. Impossamole is the game that most differs from the others in the series, it was nice to have a nod to one of the older games on it.
Takes me back to the 80s at school playing these game in awe of amazing programming on 8 bit technology best time to involved in computers in my humble option was like Pandora box was open cheers all who created stuff like this once in a life time era
Bravissima, ascoltare queste musiche mi fa tornare indietro indietro di 35 anni quando caricavo i vari giochi per ascoltarle. Grazie e complimenti, continua così.
Every note of this song is burnt into my memory but before I clicked on this video I had forgotten where it was from. It's so beautiful! I surely listened to it hundreds of times when I was a kid. I blame Guru mediations on the Amiga for deleting this vital piece of information.
Rob Hubbard, Martin Galway, Ben Daglish, Jonathan Dunn, Tim Follin, Chris Huelsbeck, all great composers from the 8 bit era. Your version off this Rob Hubbard composition is great, we can feel the music in a different way. Since it is an highscore tune, many times it's used for a more calm music, to chill the player. Thanks Grazia Pizzuto, for keeping these compositions alive with your work.
I akways loved this tune on the game and this is such a wonderfully nostalgia invoking rendition of such a beutiful melody, thankyou so nuch for brunging it back to life ✨
@@GraziaPizzuto Sai cosa... stavo pensando ad un'altra colonna sonora, sempre C64, che mi ha sempre messo un po' di malinconia, "Thanatos". Oppure anche il tema di "Blue Max 2001"
oh goodness so nice to hear versions of these great pieces from someone that actually understands how they must be approached. 99% of remakes are just usually butured and without delicacy but these are another level. The credit of course must always go to the original composition but I do sense much admiration being shown through these

Congratulations! great interpretation. Rob Hubbard is the best. Have you thought about making your version of Spellbound c64? It would be great to hear it. 🎹🎵
This brings me back to 1985. I was a skinny 14 year old kid back then and loved my Commodore 64.
That's me!
One of my favourite C64 tunes beautifully played.

Yes and captured our 80s teenage hearts.
Wow. Awesome tune played by an awesome musician.
Magnificent. Who would have thought, back in the 80s, that our beloved little game tunes would ever end up being so cherished and improved upon?
Toute ma jeunesse... Je n'ai jamais eu le jeu mais c'était ma musique préférée dans une demomaker pour Atari ST (the Big Demo).
Respect to you and Rob Hubbard. Really nice piece of music.....
Muchas gracias, me trae buenos recuerdos c64 monty
the tune can also be heard in Impossamole hi-scores. 🙂

Stupenda ❤
Insane to think such a beautiful melody comes from a game about a mole trying to escape the police.
Amazing rendition, as always :)
Thanks, Rafael!
We humans rarely spend enough time being empathetic with moles trying to escape the police, that's why ..
Especially those unfairly framed for stealing coal
What a beautiful emotional performance of this lovely piece!

La mia preferita di sempre. Titoli di testa e highscore. Grazie ❤

Never really associated hauls beck with the 64, he really came into his own on the 1bit machines

@Thomas Soffiantini Ascolteró queste tue proposte, grazie!
Me too….
The games of c64 never gets old
Oh my God, a beautiful girl is playing one of my favourite tunes...!
One of the most beautiful melodies in the world came for a small C64 game. Unbelievable.
Fantastica esecuzione, come sempre! 👏🎹👩🏻🏫
Grazie mille:-)

Beautiful, thank you👍.

Many moles died to bring us this tune…
Makes me wonder, if that lady is an old school gamer :)
If you like Hi score songs, definitely try the music from Battle Squadron.
If you play it, it will be beautiful, like everything from you:)
Thank you, Tomáš, I will listen to this music!
I second that. I think it's a great recommendation.
I'm not familiar with the original but your take sounds real beautiful!!! Awesome performance :D
Thank you, Asher!
Beautifull! Nice version! Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!

So nice... where do you get these score sheets from?
This was my own arrangement. Feel free to browse my musescore page: musescore.com/user/31083841/scores/11490052
Great work! I’m going to practice. Thanks
Was that Song a creation of Hubbard Himself?
Can you just do "Monty on the Run" by Rob Hubbard?
I'll put it on my video list, thanks.
where do you find the sheets for this ?
It's my arrangement.
Please setup a patreon.
Another masterpiece:-) even if it's not same composer, i hardly look for the score of this one : th-cam.com/video/zVSSxwXkPjE/w-d-xo.html
