When it rains you can’t see Shit and will need a backup camera. The water fills into the perforated holes in the decal. I have it on my truck. I also suggest having your local vinyl wrap shop to install it for a perfect install.
At times. One of the stripes lines up perfectly with where most cars behind me are in my rearview mirror. I have to move my head a bit to see them well.
To have it professionally installed depends on the quality and experience of your local vinyl wrap shop. The range is 60-200 dollars. The shop I go to is ACW= Atlanta Custom Wraps they are hands down the best shop in the country. They work on 500k-1 million dollar cars and are known. It is well worth it and they back up their work.

About as expected. It's definitely obvious, but it doesn't totally block your view. Even at night, you can still tell someone is back there.

I love it! Glad I could help. Mine has been on there for a while now and the bubbles have slowly gone away. I can't see any bubbles left now.

All on their own with temperature swings

In California no. You just have to have a side mirror. (I'm not a lawyer this is just my understanding)

These from this vendor peel and crack after about a year. No matter how much prep work you do.

I did not. After several months all but the largest bubble have settled out of it. I'm happy with the install.
