    saying the Hyundai Veloster stands out from the crowd is a hilarious statement

    Wow Marcus, I am really impressed at how perfect you got that decal on your windshield, I mean for eye-balling the entire process, you got it level and centered perfectly. Let's just hope your windshield wipers don't mess up the decal or when you go through a car wash let's hope it doesn't mess up your decal. It looks really good, like it was always there and matches the car perfectly.

      Thanks, Anthony! I am honestly really impressed with myself too! I guess I am REALLY good at eye-balling! 😂😂😂 Perfectly level and centered perfectly. Maybe I should've made a ruler as an optional material for those that are less savvy in the "eye-balling" department. Haha!
      The color definitely matches my car to a T! So glad I picked silver. It looks soooo good. Thanks again for your comments, Anthony!!! :)

    It's only an observation but possibly next time put a piece of tape near the top of the screen on the middle of it to make centralising the decal alot easier? Plus put a crease into the decal to made the middle of that too?

    Would making it wet mess up the stickiness of the decal

    • @buy_bye_bobby
      @buy_bye_bobby ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm wondering that too. I am seeing vids with different ways to applying the decals. Some use soap, some just tape it to the top then pull the decal down and use the scraper to remove the air bubbles. You see that he tells you to use a squeegee and a scraper but he doesn't do that process in the video.

    Do you think you will install a dashcam. I was thinking about doing this.

    • @DriveAndBeDriven
      @DriveAndBeDriven  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! I actually installed a dashcam. But, I am considering getting a new one because I want one that is touchscreen and easier to use quickly. Also, I want one that saves to a cloud, not just an SD card because it gets annoying once it fills up. Haha! I'll keep you posted if I find once, and I'll make sure to make a video covering it. Thanks again for your continued support!

      @@DriveAndBeDriven The Blackvue DR750 2 channel LTE just came out. A solid brand name in this segment. Not cheap. The thing is you may want to decide if you go with a separate battery for legit parking mode that will not drain your car batter. If so, this will be at least another $300.

    If you mess up applying it, can you peel it off and start over?

    • @DriveAndBeDriven
      @DriveAndBeDriven  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely! That's why I used the soap water method. That way you can move it around and reapply before the water evaporates. If you applied it like a regular sticker (dry), it would be a bit tough to remove and reapply. GREAT question, Siddqah! Thanks for your support! :)

      Hi, Julian! According to USRallyStripesShop.com (the place I ordered this decal from), they estimate a lifespan of up to 6 years (under normal conditions). EXCELLENT QUESTION! I truly appreciate all your comments. More coming soon!!!

      Absolutely, Rocco! The overall concept with this decal is very similar. 👍 My phone actually has a liquid screen protector that applies in the same (wet application) process. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the application of your decal!
      By the way, which car/decal are you considering? Just wondering!

    How many inch is that one

  • @rushnerd
    @rushnerd ปีที่แล้ว

    He left a lot out here, first you NEED A PLASTIC SQUEEGEE CARD for both applying and then getting air bubbles out! 2nd, you generally want to find your middle point and use painters tape to mark/hold it in place with the decal. 3rd I just installed a CELICA decal on my 01' this morning and it was NOT curved to fit the upper windshield, so I had to cut all the letters apart and fit them along the curve with the tape. Even after all that, it was a rather cold day and the quality of the stickers probably isn't the best because they are like GLUED to the paper, so you really need to be careful and work with the letters as you do it, even peeling them clean off and realigning as necessary.

    • @HYFRLamar
      @HYFRLamar ปีที่แล้ว

      appreciate that, i got one coming in sometime next week or week after. and i definitely appreciate you for mentioning air bubbles bc i didn't think about that at all lmao💯

    • @rushnerd
      @rushnerd ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah just rub the sticker really good with the card first, then the sticker on the soapy water/isopropyl mix to get those bubbles out and make sure it's alligned right and inspect from all different angles. I've had good luck like this.
