    I'm a mod matrix kind of guy myself and I know this maxchine catches a lot of flak, but damn, the sounds just put a huge smile on my face, and it's multi-timbral, has great effects, and a cool arpeggiator. I want to hate it, but I love it.

    Excellent video. To anyone from Roland looking in - it'd be great to offer separate envelopes for Filter and Amplifier on all the Juno engines in a future firmware update.

    • @mysticsailor9
      @mysticsailor9 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is one physical set of ADSR sliders because that is what the O.G. Juno had however the buttons under the envelope sliders select which envelope is being modified be it pitch, filter, or amp so there are separate envelopes.. The available envelopes for the individual models (say 106) are only those envelopes available on those original instruments.. The JunoX model of course is new.. it being the all singlng all dancing Juno..lol..
      IF you want two sets of physical ADSR sliders then the Jupiter X has those.. hope this helps

      Company reps are constantly travelling. It must be knackering. Always thinking and promoting. Often under appreciated. Most demonstrators I've met usually step up to management level. I remember all the Yamaha demonstrators becoming executives with nice vehicles and charming franchises with cool nights in top restaurants. Cool job but, always away from home. Not for everyone!

      It would be great if Roland allowed us to split the oscillator waveforms via controllers and/or system exclusive to create those Rob Hubbard style. A single oscillator with multi waveforms as the SID. Each waveform controlled on separate midi channels. I think I'm having a Midi Life Crisis! Remember the SID Station?

    Hi Gents.. Love the Videos so much. I love the sounds BUT .. maybe its just me but i run in some pretty serious polyphonic disfunctions.. if i layer some pads i cant do more than 5 keys at the time.. And this sucks.. maybe there is help.. but if not i would not buy again .. ;) Thanks again for your stuff. Keep it up

    Der Neue Juno X ist ein toller Synthesizer und hat einen super Sound und tolle Möglichkeiten. Aber er ist kein Ersatz für einen echten Juno106 , ich besitze einen Fantom06 und ACB Juno - Zencore Juno - ich habe mir einen alten Juno 106 gekauft ( diesen Klang erhält man nur mit dem Original ( ich war bereit daür mehr zu bezahlen als der neue Juno X kostet 👌🏼

    Is there a significant difference is audio quality XLR vs 1/4” ST?

    • @joederbyshire_
      @joederbyshire_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There should be no discernible difference in quality. Noise levels and interference can vary though :)

    • @agentooe33AD
      @agentooe33AD ปีที่แล้ว

      In terms of fidelity no, but the XLR can reduce RF interference if that's a problem in your area.

      Perfect. I have an original Juno 60 and this is almost identical. If you never ventured from the presets you'd have enough for a lifetime. Personally, I browse, get something close (if not perfect) and slightly tweak. Save to user slot with my initials. It's a beast.

    People keep bemoaning something that triggers them when it clearly is not made for them.
    The same Karens hang out at Wallmart and screech at you when you go inside to buy something something.
    Lordy lord, life is way too short.
    80s does appreciate tech like this, it allows people who want to make music with gear that they like, something of a great experience.
    The Karens should just go back to Karaoke.

    Andy, can you create a tutorial for us showing us in detail how you can create whole songs from intro of a song to the outro of a song please with the juno x. I read that the step edit goes up to 64 steps but how in heavens name can you build up an entire song. Nothing in the manual about this, no tutorial videos on this, such a disgrace. Back in the days i bought my juno x for 1999 euros new. Poor poor manual.... now they sell it for 1599 euros...

    a high end 80s casiotone connected to guitar pedals will do the same thing for a fraction of the cost.Some of the 80s casiotones were 1000 dollars when they came out and competed with Roland.....also they were made better less plastic.150 dollars instead of a 1,000 gives you more money for music videos,other instruments,and beer.
