Did the judges get it right?
The first match was certainly controversial and deservedly so but this time around Akimoto definitely won. The left hook kept finding a home and he knocked Zhang down which no one caught for some reason. Akimoto definitely won this second fight.
No KD by Hiroki.
Zhang was against two opponents: Hiroki and OFC (eg. Timed smoke/vapor ejected at his face when walking down the ramp after the introduction; the intentional incorrect National Flag position; the loud partisan cheers only for Hiroki).
Edit: OFC edit out Michael Schiavello's comment (after official decision announcement) which he used the word INSANE (Zhang & Akimoto in the screen) to described the win/lost record of either one or the two.

Agreed, and some idiots STILL think Zhang won this fight. A case could be made that he won the first one but not a chance here. Akimoto hands down.

I feel that Zhang is probably the sturdier fighter of the two. He has a larger physique and longer range and he can tank more shots. You can see that Hiroki starts getting tired in the third round and if the fight had gone a little longer then Zhang probably would’ve won, but that’s not what you’re judged based on. You’re judged based on your techniques and you’re judged based on the number of hits you’ve landed, and in this respect Hiroki has the upper hand. Hiroki is a very technical fighter. He has a very sharp and clean style, and it’s always a pleasure to watch him fight, which is probably why the judges decided to give him the victory.
the japanese guy is good. he's sharp and level headed. always just watching out for openings. while the other guy kind of emanates some ego. he gets agitated whenever he gets hit. his strikes has anger in them. he even sizes up the japanese guy on the first round.
Akimoto needs to grow some more power to lower leg kicks, if he wants some knockouts. He is a good fighter. 😊😊

Akimoto win is speed. Get point as long the kick and punch slightly touch the opponent. This is in the kick boxing. He will finish if fighting in the muay thai game where the knee and elbow are allowed
