I switched from Thrustmaster TMX (which is considerably below TS300) to Fanatec CSW 2.5 + F1 2020 Limited Edition wheel and while the more detailed and strong FFB is nice, I definitely didn't feel much faster if any... maybe a bit more consistent tho, 'cuz I was reacting to oversteer faster but that's about it. I still don't regret getting it tho as it's definitely more fun and I value that but if that's huge chunk of your budget then I would say stick with Thrustmaster, you are not missing on much pace if any. On the other hand the biggest improvement I felt was going from the TMX plastic crap pedals to CSL Elite LC... I could finally turn off ABS for good 🙂
Got this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I was looking at one of those playseat. Glad I got this instead. It is sturdy enough for me and it definitely didn’t take me that long to build it 😂😂😂. You can also roll your chair back as it’s on a sliding mechanism the same way an actual car seat works when you need to get out, no need to bang the legs bro.
how do you set up your monitor/screen? is it connected to a wall, desk etc..... if you have any pictures that would be awesome. great video and very helpful thanks!!!!!!!!
Hi mate how long did it take you to get used to a wheel? I’ve had the tx and the T3Pa setup for 2 days now and I’m still 1-2 seconds off my pace on controller on my fastest tracks
@@BushiAntz I’ve spent absolutely hours on it the past two days, I was almost 5 seconds off the pace on some tracks, I’ve got the loss down to about 1 second, it’s just the understeer around some corners feels absolutely brutal and over stated compared to controller

My Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals are comming in today . I'll let you know the difference , I have a T150 wheel and basic pedals. Hope they make a huhe difference.
The normal F-GT might struggle a little bit from what I remember with 15nm. Not sure about the kit because I never had it but the F-GT Elite Lite should definitely handle 15nm

I believe you can get wheels for the rig but I don't think it comes with the rig. Guess a little DIY could solve any issue 😅 Though the pedal plate by default probably couldn't handle the hueskinveld pedals.

My monitor sits about 3 - 4 feet away from me and I have to slightly look up. Chair sits a bit further than I thought it would but it should be fine ✊🏾
I regret that I bought this cockpit, to much handlings to switch from GT to F1. Now I'm staying in GT position because it's more comfortable for me. If I knew this on forehand I rather bought a 8020 profile rig
An 80/20 profile rig would be even worse to set up but I do get what you mean. I haven't changed the rig out of the F1 position as that's most comfortable to me.
@@BushiAntz Most 8020 rigs are in GT position which in my opinion is more comfortable to race in l, also for F1. I'm going to sell my NLR F-GT rig soon and buy a 8020, maybe the elite from NLR

You're one of few, only thing I've experienced is the rig flexing a little bit when tightening the bolts too tight but nothing else.

I did couple improvements for the pedal plate. Now the whole cockpit is working great with CSL Elite loadcell pedals! Worth of the money imo!

@@BabylonX I made one reinforcement rod through pedal plates holes for each side. And I used 4 bolts for each side to hold that rod in place.

The F-GT Lite might be the option for you because it has the same characteristics as this but you can fold it up after you're done 👀

I'd say the TS-PC is more competitive with Fanatec but don't sleep on this wheelbase. It's definitely close behind 😁

A while. What you're experiencing is very normal. Took me like a week to get used to the wheel and about a month before I was quicker on the wheel :)

@@andrewroberts6344 That's because you can overturn the wheel which causes understeer. You can't over turn the car on the pad :)

Spoke to a few already who have it. You're going to love them. Pedals make the biggest difference in sim racing ✊🏾

Not by memory no, the chair does sit very low to the ground in the F1 position, not 100% sure in the GT but it's not super high

Sorry, Matt, I don't know the answer to those questions. I've never seen another seat used with this rig nor have I seen the chassis sold by itself.
