To anyone worrying about entering a British pub please take a deep breath, put on your happy feet and just remember your manners. There will be queueing when busy and you may have to wait a bit - the more you annoy the bartender the longer you wait. Never insult the service or decor, there is always "regulars" (customers who seem to spend their lives there) and they will defend their second home/families. Otherwise, just find the people who look like they have the same energy as you and go say hello. Pubs are called a "watering hole" because every kind of man and woman come together to enjoy a drink in the hope of talking to other people. Yes, that is what I said - most people are there to have a drink and meet other people and their culture. Sound familiar? ☮️

If it is included, you will not be expected to leave a tip on top of that. If it is not included, it's normal to leave a tip of between 12-15% of your bill. For a pub, you are not expected to leave a tip. If you ever feel unsure, feel free to ask as well!
