Depends on the culture, but unfortunately some people confuse politeness and weakness for some weird reason. Thanks mate for this lesson.

I think it boils down to how the interpretation is developed. There are lots of miserable people in the world. But if we have more intelligent women giving birth, we can change the world.

Love this beautiful British accent! I used to live in the UK and really miss that politeness and accent. Things are different in the US.

I am really grateful for this lesson. Six months ago, I had a problem with a bad service of my former real estate agency. I struggled, because I realised I hadn't know phrases for sucsessful negotiations with them. I didn't know how to protect my interests politely and tell my point of view about their unacceptable service. I knew that I couldn't make a complain in English.
Thanks a lot for your lesson, next time I will be ready for this type of situation.

Hi there, Harry. I always try to be polite, cuz I think that using good manners speaks well of you! It's essential when setting up conversations anywhere and with anyone! That means to be well educated and a nice person to be in touch with!! Otherwise, ppl will find unpleasant to share good moments with you! They will run away😂😂 You're so sweet dear teacher! ❤️❤️❤

I enjoy these videos. I think being friendly is an excellent way to start. However, I don't apologize for "bothering" someone when it's their job to help me! I'm American, and am more straightforward. But I usually say, "Do you have a minute?" Or, "I just bought a ---, and have a question about it." I usually get what I want because I remain friendly, empathize with people doing their jobs, and always thank them for their time. Onward!
