As an Ogdenville native, whose mother's side of the family stems from North Haverbrook and father's side is from Brockway, the monorail episode really hit home.

Conan is a comedy legend that the mainstream powers did dirty. It's one thing to be a comedy writer, it's another to be included in the golden age of Simpsons writing.
Marge vs. the Monorail is by far one of the most memorable episodes. Not even sure why, watched it 6 months ago for the first time in probably 20 years and it was still great. I reckon a lot of us had it on VHS, we certainly did.
Liked this a lot... loved that you're one of the few TH-cam things I've watched that didn't have me racing for the volume at the beginning or end so your theme music doesn't wake up the entire house here. That was a great episode though, he should be proud.
*CO-wrote. As he pointed out the originator of the ideas for the episode gets credit as the writer. But a whole team of them writes the actual finalized script.
I first saw the monorail episode while flying into North Haverbrook. Seat 3E if my memory serves me well. Had an intriguing conversation with a dapper young fellow next to me about the benefits of carrying a pen knife on your person at all times…
Conan is one of the few celebrities whom I would be absolutely devasted if I were to hear allegations of misconduct about him. He's phenomenally admirable.

In my city we have an elevated light rail and the monorail episode was prophetic even to the color or of the cars. It hasn't crashed... yet.
