The sheepfold know the difference between priests offering convention speeches that deliver only lip service versus the priests and laity who do the real hard labor of the Sabha. May God bless our priests and lay people who transcend political desires and minister in remote regions and support our charitable organizations and monasteries while sacrificing their personal conveniences and obligations. That is the personification of the Malankara Sabha. Lately our focus seems to be on prize distribution, ponnads, and grand receptions. When will all this self indulgence cease ?
