I've always wondered if this was filmed in Mexico or Cuba. The pin'ata says Mexico, but the classic cars implies Cuba. Regardless, you would think a Scottish-Italian singer would seem out of place in those places. I've always wondered if this was filmed in Mexico or Cuba. The pin'ata says Mexico, but the classic cars implies Cuba. Regardless, you would think a Scottish-Italian singer would seem out of place in those places. But this song is so beautiful that it would probably work even if it was in a video filmed in Antarctica, with penguins as extras. Love transcends all, even language and cultures.

He definitely wrote it he said so in an interview. Could have very well been about somebody else's life, that may be true. Though he is the soul songwriter and should be credited for such.

Yes. You're right It's italian as you might see it in films, but the other guy was also right it really looks like a low budget mexican one. I've been in a couple of them and they're really similar, specially in the poor country side where not even the roads are paved.
