I think from watching alot of his interview he was never going to be what the Music Media and general media wanted because they like people to fluff up their ability and kiss arse and play the back patting game. I've been listening to Paolo since he first came out on the scene. Saw him in Paris at the old "Le Bataclan" (before the attack in 2015...around 2008/2009 or so) for 35 euros, just him and his small band. Those were the days.
Aside from the obvious raw talent, he is also one of the most beautiful men I have ever laid eyes on, if not the most!!

It's so amazing that so many people discovered Paolo during and after the pandemic. While he is definitely popular, with 63 million views on his Iron Sky video and millions of plays on Spotify, he deserves to be bigger. Hopefully we'll get new music from this soulful, talented man one day, but until then, I don't mind adding to the view/play count of his already released masterpieces.

I was listening a radio while driving a week ago… there was this random song and great voice singing ‘through the echoes’…. I fell in love to that song and that voice… So I shazamed it and here I am only now learning about this guy and his work… what a treasure, can’t believe I was deprived of this music for 10 years… amazing talent… and then just as randomly I found out he will perform in my city in two weeks time!!!! What a treat!!!

Paolo leaves pure talent behind within every footstep he takes...He is the culmanation of raw humble talent, thought provoking/meaningful song writing, and a voice that can break you down and build you up all at once. His many years of hard work and dedication clearly are on display. Most importantly he creates music for himself and is always willing and open to embrace new endeavors. A simple thanks goes out to Paolo for gifting us a great escape during these chaotic times.

Being at North Sea Jazz 2015 I more or less stumbled upon your performance - we were there for the 'real' jazz - and stuck around for awhile. And then you did 'Better man"....HOLY MOLY, like it came from the deepest pits of your heart. One of the greatest live performances I ever witnessed. Moved me to tears!
