    Illuminating the midlle of flat road instead of trees is not helping in terms of what could be recognised in distance.

    I bought this watchmen, just to return it the next day. The part that used to adjust focus is wobbly, way too loose. Light beam is jumping around because of that.

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with your Watchmen. The issue you described, with the focus adjustment being wobbly and the light beam jumping around, is certainly not the standard we expect for our products.
      Have you had a chance to contact our customer support line regarding this issue? Our support team is equipped to handle such concerns promptly and can assist you with a solution.

    Very impressive. But Armasight should also consider making a more compact version may be using 18350 battery to be mounted on a night vision monocular like pvs 14 etc.), not on rifle. I am still using the very old armasight ir light thats uses the CR123 battery because it is small, compact and can be easily attached to my armasight gen 3 night vision. I don't need 400 or 500 yard range.

    The Watchman looks great. I tried looking online and could find no other information about it or where to buy it. It was not on the Armasight website under Night Vision or Thermal products, not that I would expect it under thermal, but those are the only categories of products listed and no illuminators show up in either one. The video asks which ir illuminator should you buy and talks about how the Watchman is so much better, but then there is nothing on where to buy it and searching turns up nothing.

      I heard It’ll be releasing at SHOT show, possibly a little sooner and will be available through armasight and optics planet.

      Great light, but the beam wiggles too much.

    For reasons I will not go into, I need an MLOK Watchman flashlight mount. Is there something like that available? I don't want something flimsy. I am a "buy once-cry once" kind of guy.

      The 30mm ring that comes with the watchman will mount on a picatinny mount. If you have an mlok rail you would need the picatinny adapter to go on the rail first.

    I think you guys dropped the ball by not making it a Scout footprint for rifle mount and by not having it accept Scout tailcaps.

    • @armasight_usa
      @armasight_usa  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the feedback, but the Watchman comes with both a button tail cap and a pressure pad that can be mounted on your firearm for quick engagement.

      @@armasight_usa It's still important to have it compatible with standard tail caps for the sake of running IR lasers with the light. Two tape switches for trying to have the IR illuminator and laser on at the same time is a no-go.
      Look into coming out with one of those new USB tail caps. It would open you customer base to all those in tactical shooting. Long-range night vision/hunters and tactical/3-gun shooters alike.

    Eh that video seems kinda suspect. When you show your flagship product it still looks washed out in the primary video, you switch to the secondary video which you did for none of the other products. You want a good comparison send me the products.

      @LordSStorm @armasight_usa I like the beam intensity and it's coherence in the atmosphere. I was a bit surprised at the "appearance" of backlighting during proof of the Watchman. Seriously, even if it was 'only' a lookielu wondering what was going on in his orchard, you could have, at the least, reshoot the demonstration in equivalent conditions. (Doesnt mean I won't take you up on your prove it or return it challenge. )

    Why do IR lights all have that bs zooming lens, the beam patterns produced by dedicated fixed lenses and good reflectors are far superior to the ability to zoom in and out, white light world has known this forever. Interesting

    I’m really disappointed in my watchmen ir . The light is amazing and bight but the biggest problem with it is there is no way to momentarily activate it. If it accepted sure fire plug momentarily pressure pads this thing would be perfect.

    • @armasight_usa
      @armasight_usa  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sir the Watchman IR comes with the press switch in the box. You should be able to do what you want.

      The pressure switch is not momentarily activated. Click once for on and then hold for 3 seconds for off. The problem is people wanna use this with a ir laser and have a dual lead switch for activation and that’s not possible. So basically it’s good for a hand held or for use with a scope. The light and body are great but what I would like to see is a better designed tail cap.

    I bought the watchman, I can say I had high hopes it was better than the stock IR that atn offers.
    It wasn’t, the back end would move the beam, adjusting the beam would take the IR beam from where I initially aimed to to the tree tops between 75 and 250 yards. I loved being able to charge the battery with usb-c, and the lit tail cap, but beyond that it was not a well engineered light for weapon use.

    • @armasight_usa
      @armasight_usa  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Watchman also comes with a pressure pad for use in conjunction with a rifle. Also, the Watchman is a much stronger IR light then the ATN Stock IR. The Watchman has 3 power settings, did you try them all.

      @@armasight_usa I used the switch, all functions provided…. The most important thing to me was it needed to be where the rifle was aimed….. and making shots from 50 yds to 200+ was impossible because the beam was never where it needed to be when adjusting. And if you touched the tail end of the light it would change the location of the beam. Just a bad design/engineering in general for the light itself

    • @armasight_usa
      @armasight_usa  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@p.b.sHUNTING Thanks for the feedback, but the Watchman is not a laser, it is an illuminator. You would focus the beam to illuminate the area and use your scope to shoot.

      @@armasight_usa easier said then done when its weapon mounted. Once it’s mounted on the weapon…. You can’t aim or adjust the light. If you adjust/focus the beam for longer or closer shots, it moves out of view of the crosshairs. I’ve night hunted for 15 years, this is the only light I’ve tried that wouldn’t adjust in the mount. The stock IR light from atn is adjustable to aim light, my New Sniper Hog light is also adjustable to aim. Focus is separate from aiming, y’all haven’t figured that part out. But would highly suggest getting the machined parts figured out…. I’ve already sent mine back because I can’t have something I depend on IN THE DARK frustrating me to the point I wanna throw it against a tree. Do better
