Awesome set up!!! I'm running a 1969 18' Starcraft Offshore V-18. Not as much room as a Pontoon but we typically only have 2-3 fishing at a time. So still pretty comfortable.

Excellent! Those that have never catfished from a pontoon don’t realize how comfortable it can be. Very relaxing on a slow bite day and at the end of the day when you are off the water, you don’t feel that lingering rocking motion for hours.

Nice looking boat. You need some blue led lights or UV lights for night fishing to light up them rods.
Always wanted a pontoon boat. I have two kayaks and a JonBoat. And a pontoon would be a great mother ship for week long trips

If you haven't upgraded your toilet yet get one from Amazon it's got a separate tank so you can flush it and seal up the nasty and dump it in the toilet when you get home. It's about 90 bucks I think but it's worth it.

The boat and motor are about 2500lbs. So I imagine the trailer adds about 500lbs.
Very nice job on your boat. As an old fart I see you put a lot of thought into it. I did lots of fishing in the same places that you do but it was in the 70's. An old timer named Mr. B told me how to catch them , He use to run the launch next to the Restaurant (Gilligan's) it was called the Dock Restaurant back then. The times change but the fishing stays the same.

I got the SunTracker pontoon, version and its the same near lay out. Put an electric anchor on the back .... Boy is that a nice feature!! LOVE your set up. Live on a small lake in MN but its outstanding to fish out of. Like you, the trailer is a concern as its a good bunk, but seems like they cheeped on the trailer.(single axle) Also, not sure would like that L couch ... but its now a necessity to relax and to rest the back as we age LOL. Basically I just predrilled holes through the rail and lined them up with the holes on the rod holder. I used a stainless bolt and a lock nut.

Working on rebuilding a 24' pontoon for cat fishing I wanted a 20' but couldn't pass up the deal on this one. Just got the new plywood flooring done today.

Hi there, how do those monster rod holders hold on your toon rail? What's the biggest cat that's hit on that set up.... would think the railing wouldn't hold to great 🤔
Monster also sells square mounts for pontoon rails. I now have the Monster Rod Holder T bars, which hold 3 rod holders each. You should check those out.

When you upgrade you fish finder I would be interested in purchasing yours,someone help thereself to mine at a dock one night,probably my fault to,I was in the parking lot talking to a friend (a little to long),it was late at night ,when I backed in to load I noticed a boat leaving the cove,thought they were fishing,when I got on the boat I noticed it was missing and knew I couldn't catch them.....

I would like to nominate Hooked Catfish here in Illinois .he consistently catches 30-40 pounds Flathead and Blues weather on his boat or the shore . Check out his latest video where he went out in Worst weather conditions and still caught and 30 pounder .

Congratulations on a very nice pontoon boat. Absolutely beautiful. The only upgrade that I would look into would be the trailer. You could probably get a used trailer I definitely would want a double axle trailer. Ok, it’ll pull my boat, but it won’t like it. I use to pull a 24ft Bentley with a 1997 Toyota 4 runner with a 4 cyl. It did the job but struggled the whole way.
Question for you: I have a pontoon also, I would like to fish with my wife in the colder months. How can I keep her warm on the pontoon?
I recommend a buddy heater. They have them in Walmart or you can buy them on amazon. I'm actually about to get an enclosure made for mine for the same reason.

Have you been able to keep the rod holders from digging into your rails and making big round marks?
No, they make the little round mark
@@PalmettoCats I’ve thought about taking another piece of aluminum and fixing it to the top of part of the mount on the bottom. This would give a barrier between the actual rail and the threaded part of the rod holder.
That could actually work. Let me know how it turns out.
