Used to do alot of bream fishing in the swan river. My go to back was to collect crabs that hide under the rocks on the shore line. My best bream was a 49.9cm specimen.
Hello Dom. Always good to have a change of rythm. You can relax on the bank on the contrary to the boat where you have to be 100% aware of everything all the time. All the best.
Keep up the shit hot work mate. As a person suffering PTSD and depression, your videos always make me smile and laugh. Thanks mate. Ever feel like taking a Vet out for a fish, let me know. Haha. Love ya work mate
I use a #4 circle hook for bait fishing. The fish have not swallowed the hook & all have been released without damage. However, the 32cm Tailor I caught yesterday was not so fortunate & was invited home for tea. Grilled. Delicious. Thanks for sharing.
Nice vid mate. The bream has fat guts this time of year because it is more than likely full of roe/milt as they're getting ready to spawn, always consider putting them back in the spring time. Tight lines.

Brilliant, Thanks Dom. Did it taste muddy at all or was it perfect? I've caught many bream in the Serpentine River and some tasted muddy and dirty. Others have tasted perfect.

Great video mate. It takes 12 years for a bream to reach 33cm. 20 years for 38cm. They are a nice table fish and fun to catch. Love ya work

Trumpeters? Even the birds refuse trumpeter. They do eat them in NZ but those are big ones. How was the water? I can see from cam... merky?
Im curious how they taste, plus the yellow fin trumpeter is what I was referring too. Water murky due to our Perth Records rains..harmless👍
As a noob question. What area was this? Are there public bbq on the lawn area be good to take little ppl there.

Nice bream Dom just curious it's spawning time for bream at the moment did that fish have any eggs inside? It looked in great condition very plump
It was full of small river mussels..must've been feeding well on them..and unfortunately she had eggs.

Maryland's, Swan River
How are you avoiding the pesty blowfish though? Fun vids mate.
Thanks mate..surprising i didnt catch any of them👍

Hi Dom, curious about the rig. Running sinker down to the hook are you using a leader?
Yes, always a leader when braid is on the spool. About 10 15 lb is heaps for bream
Hey mate, how do you know what times to fish the swan river? I’m loving the videos, really helping me get into fishing. Thanks 👍🏼
