Brilliant .......Adam , you really are an acomplished angler . Never do away with tip cam it's just as exciting for us to watch the tip bend . If you are doing all that video editing yourself ,that is also top notch buddy. Everything of your build up to the day to the good and bad is a genuine proper fishing day. Keep them coming big lad and would love to have a fish with you if ever you come down south. Will defo be buying your book.
Great video Adam. Fantastic net of fish well done and also well deserved. 100lb is a great achivement on any water on a natural venue the size of windermere even more so. 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Well done Adam, persistence and determination got you so close to your 100 lb Bream goal, no doubts you will smash the 100 lb mark , awesome job, love ya vid’s, Karl NZ
Good skills sir! I've topped the ton once on the YDAA book, only about 25 fish but a good stamp of bream. I'll tell you where the next time I see you fishing York City Centre :D
Wow. Great catch Adam. I made that 99lb 4oz. How big was the last one. It is very hard to catch 100lb of bream. I have spent a lot of sessions. If i camped over night i reckon there are gravel pits near me in Hampshire that would do 100lb. I have had 8olb in a half day session ladt year. Broke the 100lb on the river bann many years ago county antrim northern ireland. Best ever bream weight 173lb 10oz on loughgall county armagh northern ireland in 2011. 10 hour session. My mate had 300lb+ in a day session there. 48 bream 6-8lb each. All weighed. I reckon the Thames and bristol Avon could both do 100lb of river bream. Is that the next target. Good angling and a good watch
@@AdamsFishingAdventures Be brilliant to actually see exactly what is in that huge expanse of water ...Bet there's some huge perch lurking around too...and roach, pike etc..big eels too I'd say....looks like a top place ,that is virtually undiscovered fishing wise ...
Well done. This used to quite easy to do in Ireland. Not anymore though. For a few different reasons. Anyway your vids are getting very professional looking!!
@@AdamsFishingAdventures The main reason is hybridisation with roach. Where before you would catch slab bream now Roach/Bream Hybrids have taken over. They are usually in the half pound to a pound and a half range. But sometimes you can catch bigger. And of course some waters have bigger averages than others. Other reasons are poaching and pollution. Also in large waters with zebra mussels it has become harder to catch Bream even if they are in there. As the mussels are filter feeders and they make the water clear. The bream don't come in close during daylight hours as much as they used to. But I would say the Roach out-competing Bream and leading to more Roach/Bream hybrids is the main problem. On the plus side Tench are more common. Not as big as UK Gravel/Pit or commerical Tench. But these are wild fish. No beer bellies!! A 6lb Tench here is still a good fish. But the hard core Tench hunters here do get 7lb and 8lbs fish and bigger. But you usually have to put in the hard work and go off the beaten track for the real monsters. But there are lots of waters where you can catch numbers of tench in the 2 to 5lb range. Ireland is still worth a visit for wild fishing. But you need to manage your expectations. It's nothing like it was back in its heyday. I'd say you would prob enjoy it.
Shame you didn’t put your camera out there to see what’s going on, bet it would be chaotic and we could see how many actually in peg , now get back there and sort it!😂
Adam for some reason the website wont let me buy your book, I get a message 'Items in the cart do not meet price or weight requirements to qualify for shipping. Update your cart and try again.' Not sure what to do now

Great video Adam,
Did you catch anything on the artificial maggots?
Barry from Essex
Yeah a couple they present really well in the water but the red worms dominated
It needed the input of bait on day one to draw them in. Often the case on big open waters.
Cracking net that lad
Well done Adam but so so close to the magic ton

Haha, superb few days fishing irrespective of whether you got 100lb or not.. 🎣

I should imagine Windermere and the other lakes in the area would be like the Irish Loughs where pre baiting would work?
