Billy is a good young man. I think it goes unnoticed a lot of the time how much he leads this family. From buying Allison a car to making sure tommy has something to race to. He does it with honor and a humble spirit. None of us will last forever and some day Billy will probably be the head of the family. I think you couldn't ask for a better person to fill the position

That Malibu is like a new girl friend. When I stayed under the hood at Billy’s age I was safe. When I got out and started looking around life seems to get hard. Cars saved my life and helped me get to a great family. No progress without struggle. Can’t wait to see more. Thanks for sharing.

20 years ago my ol man said, "you should save every bracket you can, one day you won't be able to findem." Buckets o brackets later, I wish he had told my dumb ass to lable them.
Oh boy, this is the best damn comment I’ve ever seen!! I’m in the same boat, except I’ve got 40 years worth of buckets sitting around so I’ve given up and started getting rid of buckets!! Lesson for billy from us stupid old farts that have been down this road before him: get ya a handful of paint pens to keep around the shop and label the extra brackets, belts, bolts, etc with a paint pen like the junkyards did then throw it in your bucket or on the shelf and then you’ll always know what it’s for cause ten years from now your memory won’t remember what it’s for without it!

Billy is a good young man. I think it goes unnoticed a lot of the time how much he leads this family. From buying Allison a car to making sure tommy has something to race to. He does it with honor and a humble spirit. None of us will last forever and some day Billy will probably be the head of the family. I think you couldn't ask for a better person to fill the position

Keep your head up billy! I suffer from ptsd and anxiety and some days I just can’t leave the house ever since pops past my racing passion has faded away to nothing. But through the most of darkness there will always be a light follow your light and do what truly makes you happy

It is hard to have a true love for racing and try to keep a women relationship going. Sometimes the two don't mix becomes stressful for both parties. Billy has racing in his blood you can't take it out of him. He will find the right lady for him it always happens that way. Growing pains and living life is how it works you can't change it. That Malibu is like a new girl friend. When I stayed under the hood at Billy’s age I was safe. When I got out and started looking around life seems to get hard. Cars saved my life and helped me get to a great family. No progress without struggle. Can’t wait to see more. Thanks for sharing.
As a dad, it’s wonderful to see the smile on his face and your love for him and the family. As you know, just tell him as we grow older we sometimes move in different directions from those we care for. It’s not always a happy time but it’s part of growing older and wiser. Family, at the end of the day is all we have.

Lesson for billy from us stupid old farts that have been down this road before him: get ya a handful of paint pens to keep around the shop and label the extra brackets, belts, bolts, etc with a paint pen like the junkyards did then throw it in your bucket or on the shelf and then you’ll always know what it’s for cause ten years from now your memory won’t remember what it’s for without it!

My first car was an '82 Malibu. It was a hand me down. My uncle bought it new, then he sold it to my mother, and when I started college she gave it to me.
