Ive got a question... So I used cleaner to push through the tips at top of print head to see if were clogged. Well I'm guessing some was and i wasnt paying attention that it came over and did get on the board part underneath. I didnt connect back cause figured id make sure over night it dried good. So I left it out and left printhead sitting in very tiny bit of solution to not dry out but so board could dry. Will that be ok you think?
when I do the daily check of the nozzles and cleaning of the head, I see that some of the white lines have been replaced by black lines, also sometimes the dumpers of the white have a dark color inside, I changed a new head, a new dumper and the capping station pump is fine, for a year I had no problem
Great video. And I will be ordering soon. I cleaned my print head and reinstalled it in my L1800. Now the front power light is not on but the back power light is on and it is beeping. What does that mean? It stated doing that once I sent a print.
I did the same thing. I got liquid where the ribbon cable plugs into the print head. Burned the print head and motherboard. It’s repaired now with new motherboard and print head but it was an ordeal and doesn’t print like it used to. Good luck.
Mixing? Clean it good, but if do the same again something bad happened to the head that is sending 1 color to the other channel. At that point could be damage and you need replacement.
DO NOT DO IT!!!!!! FRIES THE MOTHERBOARD AND THE PRINTHEAD!!!! I HAVE DOZENS OF ORDERS AND MY PRINTER IS FRIED. BEEPING, WON'T POWER UP. I NEED TO RE-SOULDER THE MOTHERBOARD AND REPLACE PARTS. I AM BEYOND MAD, I WAS ******CAREFUL******I AM DESTROYED. DO**NOT**DO***IT
If you use too much liquid and you push too hard you can blow the head and damage everything. You need to know how to do it and have patience when it comes to cleaning and maintaining your printers.
@@KingdomDTF I am very gentile. It was shallow, and I was careful, yet still my printer is blown up. I now have to re-solder my board and hope I’m not out $$$ of dollars replacing it.
I had this happen on the motherboard and replaced the four transistors. Bought it back to life. It might help knowing how to solder and being an electrical engineer. These printers are so unforgiving.

You can not wet electronic parts, it can damage the printhead.

gasket under the damper or dampers is leaking. seen a video on it

Hello!! Did you have any experience on unclog a VJ mutoh 628D print head ??
To be honest no, but maintenance and unclogging process are the same or similar since they use Epson heads.

For L1800 90% new, they are recycle and with nozzle tested.

Yes, there is one Red Solution that keep printhead moist for 30 days according to the maker.
it will loose the gold plate on the printhead i advise using a hypersonic cleaner much more safer

If you referring to the colors of the liquid you can use any you like.
