- Hello & Welcome back to Caravan Escapades and welcome to this Vlog, We first must apologise for not posting anything for a few weeks, Work & Life have got in the way unfortunately.
Anyway, in this Vlog we compare two towing covers from Specialised Covers, they are the Tow Pro Elite and the new Tow Pro Infinity Elite. Both very good towing covers in their own wright. The Infinity is a taller higher cover that gives extra protection higher up the front of the caravan and over the high-level window. However, there are some compromises, It does make it slightly more difficult to fit and you loose the option to drop down the front to use the front windows. Anyway, why don’t you watch take a look and see what we thought.

A lot of people have had the caravan paintwork scuffed with black marks from the inside of the front covers. Have you had a similar experience
Hi No, not at all. There is like a soft foam liner to the inside of the Elite Covers, and I always clean the front of the caravan before fitting. So havw had no problem at all. I havw been using the elite covers for over 4 years now with no issue. Hope that helps. James
We have the tow pro elite which we very much like. The infinity elite is good for the extra protection but disappointing that you have lost the window opening. Not sure why they did not use the same method for the locker too
Hi Thanks for watching, I am not 100% sure but I suspect it has something to do with how high it goes up to the top of the van and the cover keeping its integrity. I know they did lots of trials till they got to this stage. Happy Camping James
Can i ask how tall you are? Im trying to decide if i could fit the infinity using a double step as i dont want to have to carry a step ladder about. Thanks.
Hi, no problem at all, I am 5 ft 9in. Tall. I can do it at a stretch. And use the double step. I think lowering the nose of the Caravan will he'll
@@CaravanEscapades101 thank you very much for taking the time to reply. Thats very useful to me. Ive used the standard tow pro for many years but i think it would be prudent to protect the huge front window on my new Bailey pamplona .
dont you need to have front side lights on the caravan by law ?
HI, Thanks for watching. You are correct. You do. There are cutouts in the cover with clear material that go over the lights so thru are visible when lights are illuminated Happy Camping James
