HI Jon and Karen. Great film. I hope you like this product we have it and it seems to work ok. Thanks putting this out. Phil and Juliet 👍👍😀

lost weekends caravan Thanks Phil &Juliet in principle it should work fine but only time will tell, oddly enough not many caravans at the storage site had these on, on a completely unrelated note any thoughts on caravan covers as we're toying with the idea of getting one.
As ever thanks for your continuing support.
      Cheers
      Jon and Karen

Hi Jon. Not many vans on our site have them either. I would look at Pro-Tec Covers Cover! I have seen them made at the Factory when I filmed there. They are very well made and do not sweat so this should reduce condensation. The off the shelf ones seem a little thin. Hope this helps. Phil😀👍

I sprayed some "awning juice" in the groove ;-) before I slid mine in, I think it helps.. Thanks for sharing. Graham

Good vlog guys 👍🏻😎👍🏻. A tip for u 🤔. After a lot of finding the right awning rail protector that looked nice we also went for the maypole one. Tried the yellow one and the grey material one but they stuck out like a sore thumb. But I found the maypole one when on went really wrinkly and looked bad too so I took it of and cut the width down by half with a Stanley knife and now looks so discreet and smart as I leave it on the non door side all the time

Thanks for the kind comment and tip, that's something I'll check out next time we visit the caravan, i must admit i struggle to get it on the non door side i think the awning channel was narrower.
      Thanks
      Jon & Karen

Cutting it down sounds like a good idea but does it still do the job. Ours sticks out like sore thumb. Phil 😀

Hi Phil. It still works fine cutting it down. I’ve left mine about 5mm sticking out and works great. Your not going to stop all black streaks as the rain comes sideways these days too. It looks so much tidier than the wavy effect if you don’t. Hope this helps 👍🏻👍🏻😎

squirt wd40 into the rail first and it glides all the way
