Looking throught the Ubiquiti FCC Filings... Lots of cool things coming through!!! pics are all confidential, but the testing of the products and names/designs, look promissing. UI has grown up so much!!!
I sure hope their still advancing the AirMax & LTU product lines, but if they advance AirMax to WiFi6 or WiFi7, it'll definitely out-perform their own custom built LTU line. UBNT hasn't been a believer in outdoor MU-MIMO, which they'll finally have to do if they want to take advantage it. We've had 2x2 radios forever now, while Cambium seems to have figured out how to make it work outdoors. Reminds me a lot of the GPS-sync problems....
Please submit a ticket at account.ui.com so our team can assist in the several variables that could impact your speeds as many customers are reporting +1.2Gbps
I dont see the need for Wifi7... I would rather prefer my WLAN to have an uninterruptible backup solution in the 900 MHz range so that the connection is not interrupted when I am on the move. There is always a corner somewhere that is not covered by WLAN. If I need high connection rates, I can also move briefly to the access point. Everything else has a LAN connection.
yes a long range signal even if it were slow would have some serious benefits. I doubt UI will have much say if that is ever going to be implemented in to some wifi spec
I know, I know. Especially as the clients would also have to support the standard and not only the UI hardware. But hope dies last. After all, the standard for this already exists
Where are the 2.5g switches?!?!? Please, just release some 24/48 port all 2.5g with 2/4x SFP+ Call it the Pro Max Ultra Super I don't even care. Just please, release them before I die of old age...
Yup, that's the Ubiquiti way. Clueless until they finally aren't then they are far behind the eight ball. U7 Pro is only 2x2 MIMO and doesnt even have Bluetooth in it either. So their protect multi sensor is worthless at that point. Not sure how they came to the conclusion to call it the "Pro" and not the "Lite." And here with the U7 Pro I thought they were getting ahead of it...sadly, NO!
We have a 3 Gbps Fibre Connection in London UK, from Community Fibre at only £49 per Month. 3 Gbps is Mass Market and Cheap. Wi Fi 7 needs a 5 Gbps Port Minimum.
Super. Bravo. Da vas obavijestim da je vasa odlicna AirMax platforma ostala je na AC protokolima, znaci jako kasnite i cekamo vas da napravite upgrade na AC ompatibilan CPEom. Kada cete napraviti Rocket AX i BE? Ako ne radi profita onda zbog postovanja prema vjernim wispovima kojima je to potrebno.
@@ThiagoNunesRS recommendation: don't reply if you don't know what you're talking about. Have you even read any WiFi specifications? WiFi 6E should have had a 10 GbE backbone to fully max out it's capabilities. WiFi 7 APs could theoretically utilize more than a 40 GbE connection, though there aren't even PoE switches that could deploy that, nor can current copper cabling even do that at decent lengths. Ideally, UniFi would roll out a 10GbE WiFi 7 AP with a minimum of 4x4 antennas across all spectrums (2.4, 5, 6), if not 8x8. In the end, the WiFi 7 chips are out... we just need manufacturers to stuff them with more antennas & 10GbE AND we need client devices to sacrifice a little battery life for extra antennas as well.
I have a U7 pro, my S22 Ultra gets 1.6Gbps over the airwaves it's crazy! Only downside is I have to have a special SSID for Wifi 6 / 7 devices since 90% of my home can't utilize WPA3.
But still no proper ipv6 support
Waiting for the U7 Pro max and U7 enterprise =)
Will they have 10GbE port? Or again 2.5GbE ?
Excellent intro ! Now we need many more Wifi-7 than just the Pro-7. Go go go !
With WiFi 7 and 320 MHz channels, you are going to need Poe+ switches with 5 gbps or 10 gbps speeds! I presume those are coming too?
That intro was epic!!
Agree, I love Ubiquiti video always great!
On a different level
Like Cylon centurion from Galactica
I think you posted on the wrong video.
@@199724 Nope I do not
In the intro, what is that 2U device above the brush plate with a single ethernet port and screen?
bigger version of the rps maybe?
Just don't understand why U7 Pro only has 2.5 GbE uplink. Why not 5GbE or 10GbE? Maybe this one should have a different name rather then 'PRO' version
I agree if wifi7 can exceed 2.5 then the port is the bottle neck
I refuse to live in a world where the bottleneck is the cable and not the wifi!
@@MK-D-O Agreed!
U7 Pro is our first of many WiFi 7 APs we’ll be offering and is the best value for entry into 6GHz spectrum. Stay tuned for more at ui.com
Their switches need to go beyond 2.5 though
3:20 Anybody else wonder why there’s a guy with no pants?
Another great explanation for WiFi and throughput.
6 GHz is fast but it has no range. Good for devices you're in the same room as your router and maybe the next room.

WOW, $189 for a U7 Lite being called a Pro. I think at least the U6 Lite for $99 had bluetooth. No thanks, I will pass!!!!! Shame on you Ubiquiti!!!!
lol 😂
Gfys
very slow, I expected much more. minimal difference between U6 pro and u7 pro in terms of performance
Maybe I did the hardware upgrade wrong 😮😢

What are your thoughts|plans|solutions regarding LiFi (Light Fidelity)?
I might still be a little salty from the last time Ubiquiti released a >20 watt AP (UAP-AC)
WiFi with a Fan!
Same marketing crap as every single wifi version.
😂😂😂
When is the U7 mesh coming out and will the mesh backhaul use 6 gig instead?
I just bought 6 pro last week……
6Ghz speeds but limited by 2,5Gbps AP port... yey.

Waiting on the long range
Why there is iPhone 15 in the video?
There is no Wi-Fi 7 support, only Wi-Fi 6E
The iPhone can still take advantage of the 6GHz spectrum. As we mention in the video, there are currently few WiFi 7 capable devices.
10gbe port wifi 7 coming this year or no?@UbiquitiInc
Too expensive…

Please answer ubiquiti, are you gonna release 10gbe port wifi 7 ap? If not I will switch to you products fully or wait couple months for 10gbe port.
10 Gbe port AP makes no sense. The Multi-Gigabit specification have a 5 Gbe port, so even an 4x4 Unifi 7 have no necessity of a 10 Gbe port.

Great selling points…. Our AP will be bottlenecked by the Ethernet jack we could have made faster. I want to buy a WiFi 7 AP, but really?
Already sold out, but some on ebay.
dont buy from ebay, the price is way higher and you support scalpers that inflate the price on purpose.
😮
When will the new cameras be released? 😍
I have been waiting for the U7 pro, this is amazing.
