@@ScenicFights Korean comedy movie "Extreme Job" has a lot of good Judo throws and, generally, a big fight scene at the last act of the movie. Also Foxcatcher and The Hammer has a few good scenes too.

Hey guys. As an indian, really appreciate the love. Would recommend you guys in the future to review the mahavir singh v/s babita (father v/s daughter) scene in the film. Its genuinely my favorite wrestling scene ever shown on film. Now, also a little synopsis for the people who haven't seen the film. Dangal is basically king richard. Its a story about a father wanting his daughters to win a gold in wrestling. Before getting into the scene a little background of indian culture. In india, one of the incentives provided by government to people in any sports is that if they reach a particular level in any sports (like state level, district level, etc.) gets, based on their accolades a civil job which is a permanent job at any civil department. The scene that the guys reviewed is at the start of the film where the other guy is taunting aamir khan's character of wrestling as he was a state level wrestling champion which means that he got the job bcoz he either reached till the state level or won state level championship. He finds out that aamir khan's character was also a wrestler. But he thinks that aamir khan was an amateur level or district level wrestler. So when they started wrestling, you could see why he thought it was so embarassing to be beaten by somebody he thought was less pro than him. But at the end he gets surprised by finding out that aamir khan's character was a national level player but couldn't move any further bcoz of his family condition and had to give up on his dream of winning a gold medal in wrestling. I hope my rambling helps people a little bit. And thanks again guys for reviewing a bollywood scene. As an indian it feels great, whenever our films gets any recognition other than 100 people dancing in beautiful clothes.
Also Dangal is based on real life with no names changed. Except for showing Amir as Hanuman devotee which Phogatji is in real life, rest has been captured almost realistically
@@ScenicFights 😂 Love the long-form breakdown tho. I'd love to see more long form formats of throwing/take-down fights. ☺️ If only I was in the US, I'd love to train under these 3. Hand-to-hand combat and ground game from Chad. Weapons from Logan And throwing/takedown from Pak ❤️

Man, this was a banger! Wrestling doesn't get nearly enough love and this scene seemed relatively solid. I'm no Bollywood guy but I think you've convinced me to check this film out. But just so ya know, if it has one too many flamboyant dancing scenes, I'm blaming Pak!
Haha Dangal is more of a Indian drama than a traditional Bollywood dance movie. If you enjoyed King Richard, you’ll enjoy this. Both are real life stories that explores the relationship between a father training his daughters. However, instead of tennis, it’s Wrestling. While both are great movies, we would say, Dangal is far more superior.
@@Virgin_Buoy_69Wrestling definitely. The one thing I’d say that Judo has against wrestling is that they have the gi’s which is good for training for clothing grips since cuz ya know everybody wears clothes in the street lol. But wrestling is just as good to adapt into street fight because they don’t rely on the clothing grips to execute their throws and takedowns. Wrestling also has alot more variety in takedowns/throws since they can attack the legs while in judo you can’t. And Judo and wrestling are basically the same it’s just that Judo have jackets and different stances, that’s why their no such thing as No Gi judo because it’s wrestling.
I can really relate to the story Pak told about the fear after slamming an attacker on the concrete. In my case, it wasn't a slam, but a standing elbow and the guy hit his head really hard on the ground afterwards. At first, I was scared of getting hurt, then scared of losing my freedom, but thankfully the guy wasn't as badly hurt as I thought, and I wasn't arrested since I wasn't the aggressor. Point being, it's a scary world out there, so be ready. And don't be "that guy." Slams, elbows, and concrete all hurt and an intimate encounter with all of the above should be avoided at all costs. Great breakdown as always! I particularly enjoy everyone's humor and winning personalities.
@ScenicFights Thank YOU guys for the entertaining and educational content! I know the videos are meant to break down scenes from movies, but the techniques shown are legit and I have no doubt they have helped others to be diligent and better able to defend themselves.
When I was in sixth grade, my class took a field trip to the zoo. The class bully decided to follow me around and make me as miserable as possible. I put up with him for a couple of hours, trying to ignore him, but he kept getting in my face. Finally, I lost my temper and shoved him as hard as I could. That's all it was; a one-armed push, not a punch, not a takedown. Unfortunately, he wasn't expecting it, so he went flying; and there was a cinderblock wall only a few feet away. I can still, almost 30 years later, remember the cracking sound his skull made on the cement. He went DOWN without a word and just lay there for the longest few seconds of my life. Thank goodness, he wasn't badly hurt, as it turned out, but that fear stayed with me and has left me extremely leery of physical confrontations ever since.
I had a similar situation once when I by mistakenly hit my cousin brother on the chest with my hand (I was just tryna turn around fast and he was standing there). I've been in Kyokushin karate previously for years and of course, did have the conditioning. He was having difficulty in breathing ig... (was trembling on the ground, couldn't make a sound) I did that one action (grabbed his legs and pushed them fowards slowly multiple times) that sensei did on me when I had received the first punch on the hook by my bestie and it ended up alright fortunately. All thoes stuffs did make me realise that I gotta be careful now.
If they're coming at you with the possibility of killing you you must accept the possibility of your defense. But if it's self defence no worries. The aggressor played a stupid game and won a stupid prize.
This channel got me to finally sign up for grappling/bjj, cause the way you guys talk about it, and martial arts in general, makes it seem like a lot of fun. I was hooked after my first class
Adrian Broner and Ronda Rousey both learned the hard way what it's like to trash talk and hot dog without the skill to back it up, or taking your opponent more seriously. Let us also not forget Chuck Wepner when he fought Muhammad Ali back in the 70's and his wife's crushing comment to him after he lost to Ali. Story goes he'd told her "Tonight you're going to sleep with the heavyweight champion of the world," and when he returned to their hotel room stitched up and humbled, she said "Shall I go to Muhammad Ali's room, now?"
Pak's story reminds me of a manga. There's this streetfighting manga called Holyland. One of the characters, Masaki, explains how judo is dangerous in a street fight. One, people wear clothes when out and about and two, sidewalks are made of concrete.
I don't remember where it was written but someone on TH-cam has basically said that "judo isn't just throwing someone to the ground. It is the art of hitting your opponent with the earth itself."
I think you should do Vidyut Jamwal's bathroom melee fight in Khuda Haifiz 2 next. It's brutal and more grounded compared to other Indian fight scenes.

Aamir Khan is able to pull that off at 2:10 because he's significantly shorter AND stronger than Vivan Bhatena. His torque level is MASSIVE because he's only 5'5" but his base and shoulders relative to his height during this movie were insanely wide.

By the way, that's not hard concrete, it's actually a mat which is made to look like concrete floor, notice how they slightly bounce just after the impact. I learnt this in one of the behind the scene videos of Dangal
I think it would be really fun to watch Logan break down some of the melee weapons use in For Honor. It's such an infuriating game, but I think they would have fun with it, especially since there's so many different types of weapons and fighting styles in it.

If you want to learn
INDIAN CULTURE
Do some scenes from sultan and baaghi
I see this channel has some martial arts judgement videos as well. You need to look up some of Vidyut Jamwal's fight scenes as far as bollywood is concerned
Here is a TH-cam Short we did on Vidyut Jammwal! Which other movie should we do?
th-cam.com/users/shortsPAiBdpgI4Q0?feature=share
@@ScenicFights his best fight scenes are all in the commando series. Commando 1 and 2 I feel have better fight scenes but he has looked the most ripped on commando 3
You guys should do this kinda breakdown for the knife scene of john Abraham's movie Rocky Handsome!
Isn't that taken from a Korean film?
itna acha action nhi hai uska
@@mastrammeena328 tu he bolde pher koi India movie jismeh tere hisab seh accha action hai😂
U guys could do a fight scenes breakdown of the Teletubbies I’m still tuning in full focus keep up the great work
I’m now picturing Logan, Pak and Chad in teletubbies outfits.
Tomorrow is my exams and Iam here learning how to Dodge the difficult questions
Can u Do thallumala(it's an Indian movie) theatre fight scene it's an amazing scene .
This was an awesome breakdown. Please react to some more Bollywood fight scenes, and please, not the flashy ones lmao
What other Indian movie fights should we breakdown?!
@@ScenicFights go for commando... Best action scenes
"hum amke haam kan" great movie by Salman Khan
Chad laughing his ass out like he ain't gonna be thrown around like a rag doll and have moves performed on him like my brother would after watching any WWE fights😂
7:51 True but that's also how Masvidal got a 5 second knockout.
Break down the vidyut jamwal action scene from commando part 1,2,3
Aamir Khan is able to pull that off at 2:10 because he's significantly shorter AND stronger than Vivan Bhatena. His torque level is MASSIVE because he's only 5'5" but his base and shoulders relative to his height during this movie were insanely wide.
I've been skipping this because I like how Logan and Chad work together, but Pak really knows his wrestling, it seems.
And looking at this, as an old wrestler, I really liked the breakdown. Made me want to start wrestling again :D
The icing on the cake was what's the best way to end a fight :D :D :D
Never skip a Pak breakdown again. (We need all the views we can lol) But it’s cool to read that this inspired you think about wrestling again. I think you should do it! Let us know how it goes.
@@ScenicFights I definitely won't skip 👏 I've invested too much into strongman right now, but maybe once this road has been walked to the end 😄👏
i think dangal is the only movie in bollywood that follows physics.
Chad knows where those big number views come from
Can't believe I just witnessed two foreigners fighting over amir vs salman khan movies usually it's between salman vs srk 🤣🤣🤣
Amir is in his own league.
Loved it 😊❤️
❤️
God I love this channel, and I'm happy everyone seems to be having fun
And we love your constant support! Thank you and let us know which fight scene we should breakdown next 💪
@@ScenicFights Spike VS Vincent from the cowboy bebop movie would be a SICK breakdown actually
By the way, that's not hard concrete, it's actually a mat which is made to look like concrete floor, notice how they slightly bounce just after the impact. I learnt this in one of the behind the scene videos of Dangal
Ayyappanum koshiyum movie final fight scene
Never knew you guys would come across dangal
Yes! Dangal is such a fantastic movie! Make sure to share with your friends so we can do more Bollywood Breakdowns.
outstanding.
I wish you do the vinland saga fight breakdown. Especially thorfinn vs thorkell.
I would like more kengan breakdowns
What other matches from Kengan Ashura should we breakdown?
Ohma vs raian
Or golangs match
I think it would be really fun to watch Logan break down some of the melee weapons use in For Honor. It's such an infuriating game, but I think they would have fun with it, especially since there's so many different types of weapons and fighting styles in it.
3:34 "looks like NatGeo" lmaooo
I think that other guy.. Have very premium insurance... 😂😂😂
i think you guys could react to the scenes in chainsawman with kishibe, there is stricking and also a bit of knife work, maybe in short form? would love to see
You have to breakdown indian martial art ist's movie commando pleasee 🙂❤️
In an Indian Government office if you fight like this you could loose your job. Lol
Thank you for such enjoyable informative video!
Thank you for commenting and engaging! If you haven’t yet, please subscribe, share the video with your friends and let us know which fight scene we should breakdown next!
Pak just dropping some lore about himself and showing that this very nice and polite man is an absolute beast
Pak looking to sharp. Proper knowledge on the sport as well.
Plzzzz more scenes from the same movie
What other scene from Dangal would you like us to see review?
The difference between Mahavir's coaching and the national coach's techniques....that part is great
Or when mahavir fights with his daughter
9:30 the movie is actually _"Hum Aapke Hain Kaun"_ which translates to "Who am i to you". Its a stereotypical 90's cheesy romantic movie. Girls love it. I too loved it when i was a kid. Nowadays, its a very cringe movie. But if you love K-Drama kinda movies, you will love this movie.
